  1. Well BSS Vidar. While it is fair to say in previous DCS World versions there were some issues but the current one is very stable. Shrek Squadron flies almost every day, always online, and we frequently fly in formation. Only once, with one aircraft did we experience the effect you mention. However, a reconnect sorted it out. But a few tips. 1.The host needs to have a very good connection fibre if possible. 2.In your multiplayer option everybody needs to be set to LAN regardless of how they are connected. 3.The host needs to load the server mission, get into his(or her) pit first and wait...it can be paused...for about 30 seconds to let the server machine sort itself out. 4.Then the host tells others to connect. 5. Finally check everybodies connection ping below 100 is good. Also the P51 guns hit your frame rate...I think they are working on it. I am no expert but we have been flying online for many year ad really enjoy the experience. Hope that helps Regards Trubshaw
  2. Absolutely agree. Saitek want to sell panels. So if they could add an install to their driver cd that said it would allow some function in DCS World they should be laughing all the way to the bank. Many of us have gone thought the fsx route and bought saitek panels that collect dust in DCS world. If I were saitek I offer RAF some money and equipment. After all you have effectively done a 'proof of concept' with your work so far. Keep it up.
  3. Really good work RAF. Have you sent Saitek an e-mail? If they had any sense they would support your work. After It would lead to more sales of their panels to DCS users. Cheers
  4. Great progress. I gave up and connected my switch panel to a Bodnar board. Do you think you will have any success with the radio panel?
  5. Good to see the constant improvements ED.
  6. Cheers I appreciate you help. Happy Flying
  7. Thanks Hubson.....am I being thick? When I play those sounds ie. Sounds/Effects/Aircrafts/Flaps etc using Audacity they definitely don't sound like what I hear when I am flying the Su33. All I want is the Su33 sound file to be louder or back as it was before the 1.24. Cheers
  8. Great ideas for a mission and the skin looks good.
  9. I will talk to the A10 jocks who flew last night and ask them for specific suggestions. Cheers
  10. Dear Psyrixx, Tonight 13 of Shrek Squadron took on your mission. A great night was had by all. Overall we felt that it was a very good mission, nice integration of sub tasks, clear interaction and overlap of the tasks that contributed well to the final goal. A well written mission. We will definitely run this mission again. In fact our Squadron Leader, Ogreman, who is no stranger to mission writing himself, actually described it as, "Bloody Good" ( a phrase he has not used since he made a low level pass over Penny Benjamin, the Admiral's daughter in his youth.) Two suggestion to improve it further, a least from our perspective, are 1. some more A10 tasks 2. any chance of a combined Arms element. Cheers and we are looking forward to your 1.1 update. PS If you fancy joining us for a Tuesday night fly of your mission then PM me and we would be glad to fly with you or simply talk though elements of the mission.
  11. Still unclear..... exactly where is the air brake file for the Su33? Does anyone know?
  12. Are the FC3 sound files 'hard coded' into the program code? or are they separate somewhere? I would really like the air brake of the Su27/33 to sound like it used to before the latest update. If so where are the ogg files located? Thanks
  13. Just had a first go at it with 3 KAs 1 Su27 and 1 A10C. Really great effort to produce such a complex mission. One enemy air craft fighting the Su crashed into the valley but only after it downed 3 of us!!! All went well cleared all enemy then called up the Blackhawks with the F10 menu then DCS froze on us....not sure why but hey it happens. Enjoyed what we did fly..thanks. Shrek Squadron will try is again soon and report back. Cheers & Thanks again
  14. I really like your philosophy to this mission, especially that it encourages the flying of all module planes, encourages those who want to take a step up from beginner and has dynamic spawning depending on what you fly. Well done.
  15. I find that, once you have launched you have to keep your wings reasonably level and the laser pointed directly onto the target. Hope that helps
  16. If you do could you help me please? I don't seem to be able to host. Other users cannot see me in the server list. I know about opening a port but which setting do I change? Thanks in advance.
  17. Hi Paul. I have it working well. I don't use the Warthog software and do it all in DCS World. First you need to clear all the assignments. Because by default and even after some updates DCS World automatically assigns things for you that you don't want. So go into options.. then... select KA50 sim..then Axis Assign Now click in each vertical column...anywhere so long as you have highlighted a single box then select "Clear Category" Do this for each controller DCS World finds. NOT the key board and make sure you are in Axis Assign. Now you can easily re assign each controller. I have my two throttles on the Warthog assigned to "collective...Joy Z and throttle to Joy RZ" Hope that helps but if you want me to talk you through my settings then come on over to Shrek Sqad on TS.
  18. BS2 wont activate after 123 update I have the same problem. My hardware code is the same for all modules and all activate properly. But BS2 refuses and says there is a problem with my hardware code. It also errors when I try to deactivate it. Stuck now after being a very loyal ED customer. Any ideas where I go now? I have registered it with ED support.
  19. I have had about three office type computer chairs. But the best by far was when I went to a car scrap yard and got a passenger seat out of a 4x4 vehicle with a built in arm rest. It swivels and took a bit of time to fix it to a base but it is far more, adjustable and comfortable than any other chair I have used.
  20. Great job.
  21. Great craftmanship! Thanks for sharing.
  22. Good point agrasyuk. I had to put a delay like that in when programming my X-Keys keyboard for DCS to work properly. Would love to see a photo of your key board when you have got it set up Cezar11 Mine looks like this for Black Shark
  23. Well fly what you love and love what you fly. Maybe I will see you in the virtual sky. Cheers
  24. Wow what construction skills. So far out of my league. But I too have an old USB controller lying around. Think i will hack into that to make something of it. Cheers for sharing and the inspiration.
  25. Thanks GregP I am using the PS2 version and I dont have to edit any config file....I wouldn't know how to! but I simply programmed the whole X-Keys board to do 'slow transmission' and that seems to work. You pit looks great thanks for attaching the photo. Do you fly anything other than the A10? Happy flying.
