  1. Have you checked it while flying straight and level parallel to the runway?
  2. Is it plugged in and recognized properly in Windows when you start the game?
  3. Definitely not!
  4. You could try and see if you can get some racing wheel pedals. Works pretty good.
  5. Helicopters are only a danger when youre not maneuvering much, try to not fly straight into them, but approach from above and give them hell with your IR missiles and guns. The requirement for this is that youre able to spot them, so keep your eyes out of the cockpit, observe, do your attack runs and then climb back to a safe height and observe again.
  6. Ive found that in most cases the rudder is the problem, so if you're aware of recentering your rudder, there should be little ways for you to mess up your trimmed position. You could always display the controls indicator and try to correct it with full rudder inputs, if thats your problem ;)
  7. 6 o clock wind wouldnt help you take off faster, youd need more runway to gain enough airspeed to take off. Compared to that a sidewind would "help" you, in that you need less runway. However at 60 km/h crosswind you would probably be blown off the runway.
  8. Id like to play the demo, unfortunately its not available from any download on the official website or the forum post somewhere here.
  9. Press the shkval uncage button to set the shkval to where youre looking. Hold it for it to stay with your HMS.
  10. It looks a bit like a Frogfoot with stealth and lacking a tail...
  11. The lack of buttons on the sidewinder indeed makes it a lot harder to learn and master the A-10, Good Luck with it though!
  12. So what is your theory about this?
  13. This might be a dangerous habit in RL, coming back to drop a second bomb because the first one didnt hit leaves the enemy plenty of time to defend properly the next time you arrive on the scene.
  14. Thanks for the video!
  15. So the guy in the back seat gets to see something too? Id imagine this to be crucial when flying from the back seat, thanks for the explanation.
  16. I've always been curious, what is this extended thing above the canopy doing, is it a mirror?
  17. Keep the ball centered with your rudder, trim Ailerons and Pitch, let go of the Rudder and trim it.
  18. Interesting!
  19. Clicking is more of a neccessity when youre using FFB sticks, the sudden loss of all force acting on them can indeed lead to oversteering when you press and hold the trim button.
  20. Couldnt you just select both stations? (Not sure if this works with different MAV types, but you could always use a symmetrical loadout)
  21. Pretty much this. IRL the pilots seem to do it in a similar manner, I just cant find the cockpit video I have in mind right now, gonna add it later if i can find it.
  22. Great! The sim always seems to have something up its sleeve when you dont expect it :) You better get familiar with Manual Reversion Landings soon haha... :)
  23. Thanks for the correction, I rarely do rolling landings.
  24. Your laser is not armed. Its the most right bottom switch on the panel with the "Auto-Turn"-Button.
