Thank you for making this, and thank you for finding my f-86 cockpit worthy to be part of it! I discovered a lot of mods I couldnt live without through the beta packages you made on hoggit. Edit: I would prefer you had a complete package like before to download with one click though. ;)

Makes my game crash after a while with a msvcp110.dll error.. Or was it msvcp120.. cant remember.

Anyone having performance problems, I will strongly suggest you to completely remove DCS, make sure there is no DCS folders left, and install it again. Do keep your saved games/dcs/config/input folder so you dont have to set up your controls again. It did the trick for me, and im now back from 10-25 fps to being between 60-120 fps. :)

Back again after reinstalling DCS completely. I believe that has done it, it back again with full power and performance as it should be :) A shame I didnt find what made it act like it did, but at least now it works for me again.

Yeah, it's nice that some of you have a jolly time with this update, but there is other threads on the forum for that kind of joy. ;) The fact is, every system is different. Comparison is not always 1:1. Nice to see im far from the only one having issues. Sad, but at least im not alone about it. I hope its not going back to the old days where every DCS update was a risk of ruining your game. Hope they find something bad in their patch, fast -for us that do have issues with this update. I have mods, all JSGME. But I tried with and without. It made no difference. We just played an hour, testing a bit. Results are, its playable now. But - when landing in MiG-21 which is a bit heavy in the cockpit, Im down to 15fps. Which is far worse than usually, and it makes it... No fun... That shouldnt be the issue with my system which isnt exactly low end. But I dunno. Around 25-30 in a dogfight with Sabre and my buddys MiG-15. Much worse than usual, but enjoyable. And no, my buddy's game still crashes when loading KA-50. Every single other module works for him, I'll take a look at his logfiles later, its sleepytime here. I did read someone had the same issue with the A-10C? So, my conclusion right now is the new savegame folder did remove whatever caused the critical stuff, but it feels like there's still something naggin'. Might try to remove every DCS thing on my drive and reinstall it later.

Heh, you got a point. We just wasted the posting.. There is nothing exessive repeated in the logs, they look rather nice actually. :smilewink: SiThSpAwN! I actually believe the new saved games folder did it. :D Wonder what has been in there it didnt like.

Thanks, I'll try that. No, its all modules, even F15. It feels like render issues with clutter/details because I just tried starting a plane in-flight and It's almost like a switch turning off when going above around 4000ft. Then it runs "okay", but nothing like before. Somewhere right below 4000ft It "switches" back to I can allmost count the frame-frame-frames..

Okay, hope you dont mind me asking - but I dont see what a 10 second track will do, and a log when there is no errors besides 10 fps? Its not just poor performance. Its no performance at all. Yes, repair did nothing at all.

This update just wrecked my DCS totally. My wingman is experiencing some wierd stuff as well. Me before: 60-120 fps average Me now: 10 and laggy as hell. Totally unplayable. Wingman: Ka-50 crashes his game Without mods - instant action - quick missions. All tested. My system: Win8 64x i7-4770K 2x8GB DDR3 Corsair Dominator platinum 1866mhz cl9 RAM GTX 690 (Multi-GPU off for DCS although it made no difference this time. It cant get worse I suppose) Win+DCS runs on SSD Something in this update has seriously messed my DCS up. Halp.

Im curious to know, and I always wondered - why exactly is it even a option to choose which fuse to use?

Well im with him, and im not the only one. It is a bit annoying to get estimates over and over again that never holds up even close, because you get exited about it and look forward to the next 6 months time - and you cannot help it even if you try not to make any deal about those poor estimates. I would rather not hear anything about releases until they are absolutely sure. But cool video. Looks good nevertheless.
