As Tartan Piper says. Make sure brake lever is set to LND and not NAV. I believe it activates/deactivates brakes on the nosegear but I might be wrong. Its the big white lever that either turns 12 or 3 o' clock, located right above your artificial horizon.

When ED gives an estimate, be prepared to put at least 6 months on top. :-)

The problem isnt hardware. The problem is that the Mig pushes the DCS engine to it's limits.

Make a lower poly cockpit version as a JSGME download or something because this is insane. Otherwise you should label it as a "poor performance machine" in the sales section or something so people dont get dissapointed when they recieve a plane that destroys their entire game performance even when everything else in DCS works perfect. :music_whistling: You are litterally asking everyone to turn their otherwise fine working DCS graphics and settings down to a really crappy quality (Medium distances/no shadows etc) just to get decent frames with this bird because you want an awesome looking cockpit. The entire A-G workings of this bird is set up so you are highly dependant on seeing the ground as much as possible. If it was just for high alt. A-A it could see the point in turning down the ground details. I really hope you still have some things you can tweak and turn down or that you find some. If I had known this bad performance would possibly live on in the final build, I probably wouldnt have spend my money on it. But thats the risk you take when spending money on beta's. Thanks for creating an awesome working/flying plane in a useless shell. Graphics might come first for kids and battlefield. Bad performance - Multi-GPU's and/or SLI. Today I had enough. Enough of poor FPS, jitter, wierd pulsating fps etc. I litterally was considering removing DCS. It was becoming unplayable. Very jittery and unstable 10-20 fps at max (When playing any decent missions with a bit of hardware on the map).. For two hours I was tweaking, reading on these forums for best settings etc. Nothing worked. Or some of it did work for small amounts. But not was I where looking for. So furious and angry as I was, I raged on my teamspeak and trying to convince a mate who wanted to help that there where nothing he could do.. I had tried everything! He said, try disabling Multi-GPU / SLI. :doh: Thats right. I have a multi-gpu/sli system.. So I did. It worked... So there's that. Now it's smooth as butter. If any of you have a stupid high performance system and a really low performing DCS. - Disable that stuff ASAP. :smilewink: Also, I might be captain slow here. Cobra, any comments then on not being able to drop one bomb at a time? Even if loaded asymetrical?

Tried with a asymetrical loadout. Rockets and FAB250's. Rockets went off fine. All of them. At once....... Bombs would not release, and would only jettison on main arming OFF. Bug?

Hey there. Apologies if this is already answered somewhere else, I couldnt find anything about it. I've seen alot of mig-21 videos lately, mainly from syria with 21's dropping 6 bombs at once, and even 1 bomb at a time. Did I miss something or is it not possible on our version of the mig? Although I like the idea, it will never happen as it will render the BIS version outdated. Then they would watch all their hard work not being used, and the sales would mostly go to the newer version instead.

This sounds awesome. Would I mess anything up by loading it up in the editor, adding 2x Mig-21's - saving it again and then play it? I want to play this with a few friends and I prefer the mig-21 for flying and ground attack. :-) Edit: Nevermind! I got no clue how, this is beyond my skillset hehe. No planes in the mission editor, so I guess its all scripted.. ;)

"Casual flight SIM player.." Two words that in my humble opinion are opposite.. Casual and Sim. But there's been so many topics on this now, it was even foreseen before the release that there would be many topics on this subject.. Like everyone else has said.. Use search, read the manual on this SIM plane or browse a bit.... Please!

Of course it is. There is nothing wrong, and it is working fine everywhere.. Its still in DCS. Somehow the profiles got lost. I found a solution, the default profiles are in the Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\A-10C\Input\A-10C\joystick\ which I copied to C:\Users\name\Saved Games\DCS\Config\input\A-10C\joystick :)

Somehow, my A-10c doesnt plug and play my warthog controls like it usually does/did. Does anyone know how to "force" it to do this or am I just out of luck? I seem to have to set up all buttons manually like with all other planes all of a sudden.. I have newest drivers and firmwares installed.

+1 - and best be quick about it to keep the amount of work down. When you got 50 pages of sorting it's no fun anymore ;)

I dont know what youre doing wrong, I've havent killed my engine yet and Im beating the giggles out of it. Try to go with airbrakes and LND throttle instead on the dive. Also, remember only to pull positive G's, not negatives. (No stick forward). So when diving, turn inverted and pull stick back until you point towards your target, then turn the right way up again.
