  1. I dont have the time for watching your tracks at the moment, but you really should just use what you think feels the best. If you have problems with sensitive locking brakes with allmost no input at all, use my settings. Maybe tweak them a little. Or dont.. Your choice. With this settings I need to be full on the brakes to get them to block. Without them, I only needed to push my toes down like 20-30% and they would start to lock. That means there is about 70% of braketravel I couldnt use for anything.
  2. Hehe thanks guys. I'm not looking for a paid job, thats to much "fuzz" for me so I'll wait and see. Maybe we get some news on the subject with EDGE. I dont want to pm anyone, Im sure they have enough on their minds. :-)
  3. I have: Slider checked, saturation Y to 33 Deadzone: 0 Curvature: 0 On both wheels. When I go full brake on toes, it just barely starts locking up. So pretty much maximum breaking.
  4. I have been very interested in making maps for DCS for a while now. I've allways though if there is one thing that would make DCS a lot more attractive, it would be new terrain. I have been making maps for alot of games for the fun of it, like steelbeasts and arma and my biggest achievement was Favslev for Arma 2, some of you might know it. Pictures: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1576479/screenshots/fav/2014-02-28_00011.jpg https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1576479/screenshots/fav/2014-02-28_00007.jpg https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1576479/screenshots/fav/3.jpg https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1576479/screenshots/fav/2014-02-28_00002.jpg It took me more than two years of creating and shaping the 100 km2 of a danish terrain and I never got it fully completed to my likings since Im a bit of a perfectionst. But, what I see when looking at terrains for DCS is something in between the complexity of Arma maps, and the grand scales of Steelbeasts. (You dont have to concentrate on individual gardens for each housing, and so on like you do in arma. It's not so important since you are flying, and you are not doing 1st person infantry combat.) I would love the oppotunity to see what it takes to create a DCS map. It looks simple to me, but it all comes down to the tools in the end I would imagine. And there is alot of much more talented and skilled map makers out there than me. If ED gave us the tools for this, i think DCS would be complete.
  5. Yes. I will test the hell out of that damage model, I guarantee it. :P
  6. No way. Give it to me today and I'll upload a video of taking off, flying it, landing it later that night no problem. :D
  7. Thank you! If you want me to, I can have a look at it when youre done with the awesome coloring!
  8. You guys just cant wait huh? :D Looks awesome.
  9. Thanks guys, did not expect anyone would like it really. Means a lot to me knowing it is, and that it's being used! @Skull - If they change anything in the cockpit in future releases of the Sabre it wont be any trouble for me at all to update it. @Jocko417 - Thank you. I might give this a try and see what happens. Again, thanks everyone! I'm really glad you like it.
  10. Thanks alot guys! ;) Release is...... now. @Skullleader, they are saved in DTX5 @IvanK, I'm not sure. I dont want to change it if its not realistic. Also, I have not looked yet but I dont believe the textures for it is in the cockpit folders, I dont think I have seen it. Do you know how it looks on the real f-86 model? Release: Weathered Cockpit v1.0 I wasnt sure how to release. So I released as is. Instuctions: 1. Go to Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircrafts\F-86\Cockpit\Resources\Model\Textures 2. Backup original F-86F-35-CPT-TEXTURES.zip 3. Replace with mine. Hope you enjoy!
  11. Belsimtek really did a great job on the texturing. There wasnt much to do for my personal likings. So, just FYI; this is my own personal preferences of a bit more dirty and used looking cockpit I originally made for my self, which I have been begged to release. :P Features: - Headrest "leather" more scratched and worn - Red colors faded a bit, whitening colors for worn look - Oily dust accumulated in hard to clean places - Light hydraulic/lubricant spillage from a few likely places - Scratches various places - Yellowed instruments - Joystick HATswitch flaked, joystick and throttle scratched and dirtied up a bit more than stock. - Text's worn out various places, and where I believe fingers might have been touching after a lot of flighthours. Release: Weathered Cockpit v1.1 Changelog -V1.1 Made JSGME Friendly. Tweaked a bit here and there. Roughened up the three emergency switches on front right panel. Made your seat look as if your ass has been thrown around there for years. ^_^ Instuctions: Use with JSGME! OR: 1. Go to Eagle DynamicsDCS WorldModsaircraftsF-86CockpitResourcesModelTextures 2. Backup original F-86F-35-CPT-TEXTURES.zip 3. Replace with mine. Hope you enjoy!
  12. Okay, I didnt pay much attention but it did seem as it worked fine when I did it so im not sure.
  13. Does anyone else have problems with the brakes? Regardless of what curves or what settings I use and set for left/right brake, they seem to want to lock up allmost at an instant. I have a very very small margin of actual braking until they lock up, and I checked everything on my end. All seems to works out fine and it works fine on my other planes and games.
  14. Wouldnt the correct way be: 1. Have ext. on all the time (constant fill intern) 2. When empty ext. light goes on, drop empty extern. I recall this was the way I did it. This way you dont have to fear running dry before you notice you need to turn extern on.
  15. Love this bird, so I recorded a little something.. Hope you enjoy :)
  16. Would this be possible? :P I am litterally landing on my flaps instead of my tailwheels. (They didnt come down after damage from zu-23-2) I dont know if this is because it's beta.. Probably.. But fuselage is not touching the ground :P (0:54)
  17. Sure! The nose on the plane is very durable! :megalol:
  18. +1 wondering about this as well. (Thanks for the video!)
  19. +1 EDIT: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=125313 Pictures says it all. I would imagine that to be 127 mm rockets. Also, weapons console center says rockets and bombs several places. A-G Yay!
  20. So, back after a mission with a few mates where we tried the idea out. It worked, but not without showing the enemy that we where aware. Briefing for the mission was just something quick I wrote: I just followed along, the guys found the towns themselves, took pictures, send them to me and analyzed them for me based on the picture, what they saw on site and what they believed the insurgents could in theory get their hands on. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1576479/screenshots/DCS/recon/STARA_1/Reconanalyze.jpg Not the last time we are doing that.
  21. No. Im absolutely sure he ment 1.0.3. :detective_2: But yeah, Phantom88 I agree
