When I got the DCS news mail about the Dora I figured it would be long before the MiG-21 would go out, so all my hopes for a soon to be released mig-21 went out the window with that mail. They are not making those mails to often, so maybe they are just going for a three-plane-release on 5. august where the FW-190 is the only real set and official date for any releases in DCS. One big update. FW-190 / Sabre / MiG-21 / (Edge?). Im sure ED is doing this. Also, developers should really not give any estimates or release dates. Maybe Q estimates, but nothing more. All they get is whine and "Are we there yet!?" messages all the day. Like this one. We cant help it. We are like kids with a christmas present in our face that we are not allowed to open :P

Thanks for the vid's although I have seen them before. This was my first time experiencing a proper airshow. It was fantastic and it wont be my last thats for sure! I recorded some of it through my crappy iphone and due to heavy windnoises I just threw music in it instead. Might as well share it here with you guys.

Thanks, but it didnt do anything for me for people not in game. Might be me who is doing something wrong, i dont know. But as I wrote in my first post I have found a solution with a TS plugin called crosstalk. :)

Also, there wont be any FW-190 files until august. MiG-21 and sabre should hopefully come before that.

Do anyone know if there is some software available so I can costumize/equalize the live incoming sound a specific program like Teamspeak? I'm looking for a way to alter the incoming crispy voices of my mates on teamspeak to make them sound as they are talking in a intercom or radio of some sort. Right now I am using a WWII plugin for teamspeak, but that forces me to use an older version of teamspeak and the sound isnt as exact as I want it to be. I dont believe there is any other plugins that does this, thats why I was thinking of the software solution. Last time I used TARS it was awesome, but im the only one playing DCS really so that is not an option. :P So, any idea's or solutions? Surely I cant be the only one wanting this :-) EDIT: I might have found something here. I have had an idea for a while, don't know if this is the right place to put it but here goes. I always liked reconnaissance, and found it essential to most missions. And making the recon part into a mission it self is awesome I think. But tilting your airplane sideways at 20.000/40.000 feet and then zooming in with your mousewheel to make screenshots just feels wierd. Also, I have to edit them in photoshop afterwards to make it look cool :P So I thought, how about a "camera device" - I dont know, like the litening pod. Or maybe something different. I dont know what they use in the real world or if they even use it on the planes that we use in DCS A-10/F-15/MiG-21/Sabre etc.. But I am especially thinking of such a thing on the upcoming mig-21 or sabre. M60 is 7.62 rounds. In reallife theyre just gonna make a alot of really small holes in a truck and in its wheels, killing the crew and what not. Its gonna make the vehicle unusable at some point, and make the crew have a really bad day. Some of the engines components will maybe be destroyed but you wont see any hollywood explosions from 7.62 vs truck. :) So I think its fair that its hard to kill vehicles with M60 in DCS. Its ment to support and supress infantry and light vehicles.

I dont think he's aware of how it works, and that he needs a file like that. My best advice is to download another usermade skin on the frontpage and see how its done. Then you have to rename the folder, and the _body / _tail.dds files to your choosing and make sure that it corresponds with the names you edit with a notepad, in the description.lua file. :smilewink:

Im not angry or complaining. Im expressing my sadness. :cry_2: Besides that, its not only the dependence on lomac people are complaining about.. Its the fact that you need to give 40$ for very little, PLUS the 8 or 9 dollars extra or whatever for what now seems to be a game that only can be bought in CD version unless you live in US.. Thats not all UBI faults there... People have a right to express their disappointments and complain a little..

Funny thing. You are the only one complaining about it, and still thinks that the producers made it wrong. Are you just ignoring everything people are telling you? :) Real life pilots say that this plane is one of the hardest things to fly. It IS wobbeling like crazy and it DOESNT want to fly straight. A small tip: Before you complain about it and start to tell people that they need to try to fly it in real life, do a little research on how the plane is build and how it flies, and also what its purpose was. Completely different thing than the Su-25T and A-10c that you are compairing it to. :) But hey, maybe its your foam RC plane that flies like the p-51 mustang. ;) /Out

Either there is something wrong with your control settings, or you completely skipped my first message telling you that the P-51 is all over the place and totally unstable, in real life. :) Its a ww2 plane. Its not gonna fly straight, so unless you are experiencing some extreme wierd behavior I'd say what you are describing is a realistic feature for a realistic plane. If you think its unrealistic or does it in some extreme manner I think you need to upload a track file or a youtube video showing how it does to explain it better. Then we can tell if its a feature or a bug :)

When hearing real life pilots talk about how the Mustang flies, it sounds like what you are experiencing. If you take the hands off the controller for two seconds, the plane is not pointing where you want it to. So alot of micro-adjustment is needed to keep the mustang in a fine flight line, which is very hard with a keyboard I would guess. Well im still getting the DCS has stopped working when recieving the master list. So the "fix" that was done yesterday, worked for me yesterday.

Guess they'll have to release the new update before they planned to, so that the game actually can be played and all. Do it. Tomorrow.
