Shall we call NASA and get it in the business now?
  4. yep, geographic loaction of the sever matters for ping value, A LOT. but i wont be too worried. since DCSW is till kinda new and in BETA, im sure the number of DCSW severs will be increasing as time goes on.
  5. that is important and remember, if you select "Average" AI level, they won't necessarily open fire at the maximal range, maybe you will need to get a little closer in order to see AI SAMs open fire. Could be many reasons that AI SAMs dont fire missiles. Could u be more specific on type of SAM or upload a track or mission miz file?
  6. I did not fly it often lately, however, I did find in 1.1.1.1 there is some bug with Anti-ship missions as you will find CTD when your weapon hit ships. I had CTD when I hit ships with MAVs and GBUs. Other than that, I found 1.1.1.1 was a lot better than 1.1.0.9, avionic updates, longer vis range on rocket markers, and many (you can take a look at the and patch discription here) To me, most important thing is the force feedback fixed for my G940. Again, did not fly so often lately, consider this a tiny little FYI...
  7. did you check your options menu---keymap to comfrim your communication menu is set as "\" key? some times, joysticks and other controllers could mess it up a bit... that's the only cause I can think of since you've set easy comms on.
  8. :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:amazing video!!!
  9. Agree with you on that one. That's kinda of the "bad way" this whole thing could go. However, lets be rational, for pay-wares, something good may also come up. I would be pleased to pay for new maps/new aircrafts as Phantom88 mentioned. Decision's been made by ED and honestly, I dont think ED's gonna change this descision easily. So, Im just gonna sit here and see how this thing goes.
  10. :) I dont know if calling out launches are really for that reason. But hey, announce missile launch to prevent false alarm, that sounds right to me.
  11. Agree,Time and resources that could be invested on new DCS models:)
  12. Really hoped ED could mod the self-destruct of the CUBs. But I think its a little too much considering the complexity of its movement and its functions. I remember seeing someone else's post here on this with a video showing how the CBUs' skeets work. Cant find it now hmmmmm
  13. this crazy throttle thing happens to me too. forced me to close the whole thing and restart my computer. Not too often though, about 5% of the time. Starts beautifully, and in the middle of my flight, throttles goes crazy, sometimes I will have keep moving my physical throttle to just make my virtual throttle "follow"my inputs. Can hardly make it back to the base. Thought it was a problem with my Logitech G940 throttle, but after check, it was normal. so this problem kind puzzled me all the time. Now it seems it is something with DCS program itself.
  14. Im sooo totally with you
  15. :megalol::megalol::thumbup::thumbup:
  16. F/A-18, dont care C or E, just please PLEASE make it happen quicker. I really wish I could see this in 2012.
  17. something like this?
  18. Ok, that helped, guess I will just have to make the temp a little higher. Thanks Paulrkiii!!:thumbup:
  19. Hello! I'm new to the forum and wanna ask something strange happened to me. I've tried start up my engine many times under very cold conditions when tempreture is -35 or below, and I kept having the problem that the ENG START CYCLE caution light will never go off even after 10 minutes of waiting for the engine to warm up. Strange thing is that the Core Speed Indicator and the ITT all looks exactly like when the engine is running idle normally, but the ENG START CYCLE light just won't go off. So, after ~15 minutes of waiting, I stopoed caring and dicided to go on and start the right engine. But when I move the throttle of right engine from OFF to idle, nothing happens. It won't start.:cry: Then some time later I tried the mission again and pushed it a little off the "edge". I gave my left engine a full throttle for 2 or 3 seconds, magically, ENG START CYCLE light off, and I was able to start my right engine. I've gone through it many times now and it seems the only way to get the ENG START CYCLE light off and start the second engine is to run the first engine full throttle for few seconds. So, is it just me or someone else have had this strange thing happened? Should I wait even longer for the engine to warm up or A-10C's engine is just not good for cold-start under such low temp conditions? Anybody?
  20. Great move ED, I will definitely buy it when its out. Also, hope the next modern DCS aircraft could speed up a little...its kinda killing me trying to see some new announcement on it from you guys...
