I have asked just this to Saitek and they say 1/4 inch (8mm) is actually the travel of the X65F. This is according to them aprox the same amount of moving as the real F16 after the pilots complained of the first version of the fully ridgid stick. After this the F16 stick was moded with some travel. This would also give a better feeling on the X65F i belive.

Well... it's a really a GPU test... and the test they are doing sin not really showing anything but how well diffrent GPUs work with different CPUs. And it seems like they did not know how to test FSX really. Really got me hoping there :thumbup:

Forgot to add RoF on the list.:thumbup: Fully aware that these are not supported by multiple cores, but one i7-920 core at 4.0 has proven it more powerful than one C2D at 4.0. So it is still intresting to see what these "older" sims would gain with i5/i7 setup.

I would love to see some sim benchmarks on the 750/860/920 testing BS,IL2,FSX,Lockon,GTR2,Dirt2 All those sims require more CPU than GPU power. The test should include OC to see what possibilities they have.

It's just Lockon. All other non vista native app works just fine. I just removed the A-10 mod however, and it looks more stable for now at least.... I will do some more testing and see if the problem occurs again.

Hi, I have had lockon FC running on my vista rig for several years without any problems, but recently it has become very unstable. It craches sometime during managing of an scenario, sometimes during flight. I get Lockon has stopped working. Here is the last logs from Vista on what is the problem. If you zoom in you will have slower slewing and if you zoom out you will have.... faster slewing.:music_whistling: It makes it easier to pinpoint the target at long distances. :thumbup:

Think it's depending on where you live. In Europe it's still overpriced. But in US it's much cheaper. I have one too and would not like to be without it. Sure it takes a bit of tweaking to find the good settings, especially for different sims. First time I ejected in lomac, I nearley cr**ped my pants :music_whistling: Its sooo nice when the afterburner kicks in. I have moded the fans as they are very noisy. Instead of two 40mm high pitch fans I have put a 80mm on top. Took aprox 20 min, much quieter now.

You are correct, in IRL at least.:thumbup: Just read a nice book about the frog by Yefim Gordon and Alan Dawes: Sukhoi Su25 Frogfoot. According to it the Su-25 landing speed is 210 km/h while 230 km/h for the Su-25T. Good book if you want to know more on the history of the frog.

The manual should be included in the download of FC if I'm not mistaken. On page 206 you have the landing and runway contact info. Both Su25 and T-frog has the same speeds. There is a cockpit mod that might be useful over at Lockonfiles. I have experiance with other VRi equipment and I must say they work very well. This Hat Track works more or less as Freetrack or Trackir. Even though it just say compatible with FS9/FSX, I have seen some video of it running some racing game too. So it should work with any game that has the feature. Någon som vet hur man får byter från ryska voice coms till engelska? Kör med VAC när jag flyger med AI, så slipper man knappa en massa F1 knappar. Det är alltid bättre att höra svaret än att läsa det på skärmen.

OK, löste problemet med ryska i alla fall.....och hittat en profil, så nu kan det snart bli flyga av :)

Någon som har en bra x52 profil uppsatt ännu? Hur gör ni för att fatta alla ryska menyer? Man fattar ju inte vad man har för alternativ.

Another Swede here, have been waiting for WE version. Might give it a go with the RU version though. $25 is not that bad, and I can have it installed on another pc later on when I get the other version. Very tempted..... Reading the manual to start with :music_whistling:

Hi, we´are allways nice here ;) I can answer 3 of your questions easily. Ka-50 is a single seater, so you don't have someone in the front to worry about. Joystick choise....it's a matter of budget and personal feeling I would say. Cougar is wonderful...at least when modded I hear. But then it's twice the cost as the standard Cougar! X-52 or x-52 pros are working fine. I have the standard x-52, slightly moded. Never had a problem with it. All of these come with throttle as standard, so no need to buy an extra.

Done some minor updates, perhaps you can spot it :music_whistling: Still keeping it as compact as possible. This setup is of course for FSX flying. Hauling iron :)

Thanks, I see that I have several of these, but most probably, using the latest will be the one I need. Hopefully , this will also solve the MDF slew issue I currently have, so it works with the saitek magic mouse again.
