Have been out of the game for a while but could not stop notice the lack of dedicated A2G servers on HL. Have I missed something or is no one doing A2G anymore? I think it's good to have these servers as you are quite toasted in these aircrafts without sufficiant A2A cover.

Not on Su-33 but it works fine with F15 if you use TWS mode. Lock first one then the other. Fire aim-120 and you will have (hopefully) a double score.

For Lockon: LOVP supports some of the gauges but a client pc is also a must to run it smoothly. http://forum.lockon.ru/showthread.php?t=21784&highlight=lovp Touchbuddy supports LOVP and gives you even more possibilities. http://www.touch-buddy.com/forums/touch-buddy-lockon-virtual-panel/ For FSX: Just plug in a secondary monitor on your graphics card (must of course have two outputs. Put one a s 2D and the other as VC.

Finally completed my first prototype version. My touchbuddy setup, the panel on the right is mostly used with FSX. That panel will be rebuilt in a couple of weeks when I get some new rotary cards to play with :D along with my CH throttle. FSX setup in the dark

New SST software and drivers for Vista released.

Ahh, shoot... Just came home from a trip to Germany and could not find a post on it. Sorry for that. Did it solve your problems too Hitman? -
I looked at the Antec 180 when building my new PC, but I went with Lian-Li PC6070B as I wanted it to be quiet too. Why not go for watercooling while your at it? I had that as second option if I was not satisfied with the cooling or of it was too loud. But so far It's been jolly good.

Both the stick and the throttle have a 6,5x6,5" base. Height of the base is 2"

Correct it's easily reset. I got the swedish version so bear with me if I don't get the names of the different controls correct, but I think you can follow. First of all open, a commad window (run/ type in cmd and a DOS window will open. Type ipconfig you will get something like this IP-adress: 192.168.0.2 Netmask:255.255.255.0 Standard gateway:192.168.0.1 Write this down you will need it soon. Start/controlpanel/Network connections/ Here you see the LAN card / Wirless connection you use. Right click on the connection / properties/ scroll down to Internet Protocol (TCP IP) /double click. Here you will see something like this: Obtain an IP adress automatically and ..... Use following IPadress Mark the "button" Use following IPadress then fill in the first three lines IP adress: out in the adress you want here Net mask: 255.255.255.0 Standard Gateway: use ip you got from the ipconfig... DNS server: use the same ip as the Standard gateway. Save and reboot If you dont want to have the ip set on a specific adress, just go in there again and set it on "obtain ip adress automatically" and also set the DNS server to be obtained automatically then reboot. -

If you get the same IP you would have problems connecting on the internet, or anything for that matter as there is an ip-conflict on your network then. You are using the same gateway ip though, let me guess... 192.168.0.1 ?. Check your IP as showed before here and you should see that you have different ip's. try to send a ping to see if you can reach each other. if you want to decide your IP your self, go in to the network settings , propertys, scroll down to the internet protocol (TCP/IP), double klick on that and you will be able to set the ip adress.Put for instance xxx.xxx.x.3 on one pc and .4 on the other.then you are sure that they will not have any ip-conflicts. If you want to go back, then just clik in "obtain ip-adress automaticly" Easiest thing to get the new ip, is just to reboot when you have done the change. Then the ip will be set directly. -
It's called tunnel vision.

It should be possible to do, but here is a complete one...allthough it's not cheap. But it's just PnP with LockOn as well as Falcon :) http://www.simmeters.com/products.html

replacing cannon sound file help
CoNa replied to rogue_blade's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Fully agree... I use a buttkicker and was hoping to be lifted from the seat...but instead...nothing. The RU cannons and even the F15 feels OK, but the KING of them all feels like a peashooter. If anyone could put some umpf in that sound, I would really appreciate it. I have tested using the vulcan sound files, and it's an improvement, but still not right. -
Got the DVD in my collection since long ago. Could rip it and put it out there, but that would not be legal, would it. :music_whistling: Nah, don't have the bandwidth to post it for long anyhow.:megalol: It's great, and it's available in the shops or even ebay. Was called Sky fighters outside France. But I still like the original name better. It's actually a remake from -67. If anyone got THAT one..please let me know. Against the director's expectations, authorization was received to film a sequence where an unmarked all-black T-33 was fleeing at low-altitude over Paris to avoid radar. The production crew were limited to three passes by the unidentified aircraft over the Seine; in case of mishap, the plane would crash in the water, rather than on the city. The scene caused panic as people on the ground feared a genuine attack was taking place. Hmm... reminds me of all these modern french low level vids out there.:pilotfly:

Sorry, my bad, it's Kaos.dll that has the pro. I used the XP drivers to get it working. But you could not get the SST working with XP and used the vista drivers? Hmmm. Still think you should do a new test installing the old xp drivers. reboot and then try again.
-
I see that you have the pro version. Are you sure that the profile you have downloaded is for the pro. What I have heard the pro cannot use the standard profile stright off, but need to be modified. It seems like this profile issue is something just for the pro owners. The standard x52 works fine. In worst case you can try re-doing the profile. Just print it out before starting. It's hard, but better than nothing.
-
Is it all or just some profiles that don't work?
-
Have you saved the .pr0 files as well as the .dat files from previous pc? I had the same issue, but just copied in the .pr0 files too and eveything worked fine. I seems like there is some issue with SST to profile the .dat files sometimes.
-
Good news, It's allways nice to hear that things work out fine.:)
-
There is a fix for SST and vista now. I use it sucessfully. Download d3drm.dll and place it in your C:\Windows\System32 catalog and then install joydrivers followed by your identical SST Programming 32bit XP drivers http://www.dlldump.com/download-dll-.../download.html PS. don't use the vista drivers for the stick but re-install the XP drivers, otherwise it will not work.

An A-10 in the Swedish "m90" cammo would be awsome. Anyone handy with paintshop....?
