  1. A most rare medical condition. :)
  2. This has been discussed ad nauseam. Phil's made it very clear that the answer is no and will remain no. Even without MW50, the Kurfurst still outperforms the "historical" Bf109G6 (which is the one that fits the server timeline). Asking for the Kurfurst is already a stretch, but asking for the MW50 as well is IMHO not a reasonable request. Allies have a Spitfire from late 1943 and an underrated Mustang; the Anton is the only axis plane that fits this 'summer 44' scenario. Ideally we would have the allied planes currently available against FW190 A-6/8s and BF 109G5/6s. Keeping MW50 off of the server is the only way to keep the server even remotely 'historically accurate'.
  3. Little AAR from our last flight on Storm of War, featuring Rob, Mother, Bowsewr and me. We first took off from St-Pierre-du-Mont with the intent of hunting Schnellboots spotted on the Cotentin Peninsula. Cloud cover near Cherbourg made spotting a bit difficult so we headed North towards the Channel to try to find these ships We drained our aux tanks after a good half-hour, then switched to the main tank. After roughly 20 minutes of flight, we dove down below the clouds to try to better spot the fleet, without success. In hindsight, we suspect the flotilla could've been sighted much further South towards Granville or Mont Saint-Michel. After a while, we headed back to France South of Les Pieux to track a Telecommunications Centre Northwest of Valognes We found it a few minutes later, here's Rob and I starting our bombing run First pass smashed the communications center We took care of the bunkers next After a few more passes the whole camp was in ruins. We then headed back to St-Pierre-du-Mont for some well earned R&R. What was meant to be an anti-shipping mission turned into an air-to-ground strike.
  4. Razbam's pocket guide states 26000 lbs in the Weight Limitation section, Baltic Dragon's training mission states 25250 lbs. I'm pretty sure this is an operating restriction to ensure a safe takeoff from a ship. The engine may not be able to provide sufficient thrust to provide a safe takeoff in heavier configurations.
  5. A fair and true assessment.
  6. Doesn't look dead to me at all.
  7. So I guess we'll be using High Halden since it was where the P-47 was operating from in this map. :smartass:
  8. I very recently updated the Walleye Datalink tutorial, it was missing a step.
  9. You're not. ;) We're all very much passionate about this hobby. We're all friends, here. Let's keep it that way.
  10. I already know. Thanks for the reminder, I know you mean well. :smartass: I have my own backlog of 30-or-so items to address on the Hornet guide alone (which does not include the gigantic backlog I have for other guides). I am very much aware of what is out of date. However, updates like that require more effort than meets the eye. We're talking several weeks, if not months of work. Just a friendly reminder: I do not work for Eagle Dynamics. I'm not paid to do this. Therefore, I think it's fair to say that I do not necessarily always need to be reminded how "significantly out of date" some documents are. Chances are I already know, I'm very irritated about it and I'm already working on it. :pilotfly:
  11. Indeed, sounds like a typo to me.
  12. The mudspike website or the google drive one? I'd recommend clearing your cache. Looks good from my end.

  16. Working on it.
  17. Glad you guys like it.
  18. Not yet. Bunyap's document covers it pretty well already.
  19. Eventually, yes. But there are just so many things on my bucket list and so little time...
  20. Website should be good to go now.
  21. Yes, website is undergoing maintenance. Bad timing, but quite necessary. I'll let you guys know when the website is good to go.
