Hello Is there a way to tell if your server is showing up on the game list, IE an out of game viewer? I'd hate to put up a server when I'm not around if it doesn't show on the list. Thanks

Someone noted earlier that windows 7 sets sets up the SSD. Actually it doesn't. All it does is activates TRIM and sometimes it doesn't do that. Here's a link to one of many tweak guides. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/70822-ssd-tweaks-optimizations-windows-7-a.html

While watching a tanker in the F2 view I noticed that the shadow does not show on buildings. The shadow travels along the ground fine but when it crosses a town it seems to duck under the buildings. It's not a big deal but it looks like the layering to get the 3d look of the buildings is a little off. The shadow should be the layer over the buildings :music_whistling:

I haven't seen anyone say you need the warthog, but it is an awesome stick. The X52 and the X52 pro are excellent sticks as well. I'm sure there are others but I don't have experience with them. :joystick:

It's simply a hard drive so you should do a fresh install. Another thing you should do is google SSD tweak or optimization. There are several things that you should do that will result in a much longer life for the SSD. Things like putting the swap drive on a mechanical drive (I personally dont use a swap drive since I run 16 gig ram). Also turning indexing off, turning off defrag, moving internet cache to another drive and several others.

One or 2 did but things looked like they were ok until the crash Also, if you were just letting it run, were you doing other things while it was running int he background? Ran Mission 1 a couple of times tonight. The first time it crashed about after about an hour. The second time it ran 2 hours and crashed with 6 players. I haven't figured out how to read the crash log yet. Any common problems that cause this? Machine is an 2600k clocked to 4gig on water, 16 gig ram, GTX-680 video card, 1000 watt PS, Fios connection reading 30meg down 20+meg up. I wasn't playing either time, just let it run. The 64 bit spec is more to allow for higher memory use. With 32 bit you are limited to 4gig of ram, that includes the video card memory.

Try to re-download the game from a different source. Are you getting any errors that seem to correct when you acknowledge during install? Also I recently found that a program called System Mechanic was deleting at least one file in the game when doing a clean. This was causing integrity fails. Similara programs may do the same. So in short, try doing a fresh download, Defrag the hard drive, then install the game. Make sure there are no errors whatsoever during the install. When the install is complete immediately go into multi-player to see if it works.

Wow, we just watched someone twist his own arm and talk himself into a Warthog :thumbup: You'll be very happy with it, but you will still have to constantly trim the aircraft.

Thanks I've looked in that area and am now. I see teh guns hud ccip hud etc. However what I'm talking about is pushing the master mode and the huds not changing and not showing info such as guns showing ammo type and rounds left. I'll keep looking. :book:

Are there different HUD Modes? Very often when I am in a server the hud doesn't display the weapon mode, IE guns with rounds remaining etc. It will just show a number It also doesn't show the gun aimpoint with the counterclockwise range. Cycling master mode doesn't help. Ideas?

Thanks. I learned a long time ago when I have a specific question it's often faster to ask someone who knows. Saves me precious time. I've been doing a lot of reading and tutorials, just didn't remember that one. The biggest thing I haven't gotten the handle on is targeting.
