There is a mod that removes shaders from flares and smoke/explosions, but it only works with 1.02. So would anyone be so kind to do it for 1.12a, or at least tell us how to do it, I would be willing to fix it, if I knew how of course :smartass:

I had terrible problems with LO (and other stuff) when my PSU god damaged (it was still working, but the system was restarting SOOOOOOO MUCH). I got a new one and everything works fine now :D

Look, I only want to add dual unguided rocket lanuchers for Russian aircraft. So, dual S-8(CM) launcher and a dual S-25 launcher. And maybe a dual UB-13 launcher. So, how hard can it be?

Does anyone know how to make MER munitions? Like MERs of dumb bombs, or MER of 2 AIM-9 for A-10? What I want to make is a MER of 2 launchers of unguided rockets for Russian a/c. (S-8, UB-13, S-25)

While testing my X-52 profile for Lock On, and fooling around in Su-33 I started firing unguided rockets. I just pressed my trigger and ...WOW... I saw the rocket coming out of the launcher. No big deal, BUT I saw the rocket going from external view and it said B-8 (the rocket) C4+ . After that I fired all my payload but suddenly the sun dissapeared! Like no more lightning, all dark around me, I could see the stars, anyway the game became unstable (that is QUIT wouldn't exit the mission) so I had to CTRL-ALT-DELETE This made me wonder, what camera views and angles can be used. There is no such thing in manual. And I'm 100% sure that I was holding ONLY the TRIGGER to fire the rocket, no key combination.

So, to start... 1. Do you know where I could contact real life Su-27 and Su-33 pilots on the net? 2. How realistic is to carry unguided rockets on the 2nd outermost pylon of this 2 birds? I know of the realistic weapons mod, but maybe something has changed in RL since of then? :D I would like to carry rockets there but only if it is realistic... :smartass:

I am even better. I did LA override while flying about 2000m at sea level and released submunitions from their dispencers from my Su-33 and started diving. Somehow they fell on me, and WHAAAAAAAAM!!!!!!!!!!!! :smartass:

I think that you have to filter out units you want to see and the ones you don't want to. Also, IIRC, you can see allies only in externals, I just don't remember the combination...

I noticed this happening when flying very fast (fast in terms of Hunchback :)). like 900+ km/h when I was trying to get rid of the wings :smartass: Anyway, after recovering from an unsucessful attempt of diving to get rid of the wings I returned to level flight but the darn thing wouldn't get into the right place again :joystick: Cheers! :pilotfly:

No, it just installs the file in ...Bazar/Temp Textures in regular format (.bmp or .tga) It doesn't work for LO ... unfortunately

Strange, I set up mine the same way, but I still cannot install the skin in CDDS with ModMan... :(

What DDS format should I use? DTXc1, DTXa1, DTX3 or DTX5? Lo uses DTX1 and DTX5, but what should I choose from A and C variant of DTX1? Or is it the same?

I can only tell you that I had the same problem and I fixed it with a reinstall. What I did before it happened was changing some keyboard commands, but NOTHING related to zoom/unzoom, only chaff and flare keys... It was very irritating

I'm using a combination of SST and axis in Lock On. Read the begining of the thread, you'll find your answer there...
