I was thinking about asking the same question.
-
Once again, thank you for this great module!

Great, thanks! :book:

Hey Fire, nice videos! I just watched 2nd and 3rd, and I did enjoy them (although my German is not so good). I have a question regarding the take-off: shouldn't the pilot perform take-off with at least first stage afterburner engaged? I don't recall that I ever seen the MiG-21 take-off without the afterburner.
-
It makes sense, and I don't want to be rude, but in English part of the forum, I would expect English tutorials that's all. We shall wait for Bunyap's stage 2 video series than. :) Maybe I'll watch yours as well, I might learn something using my poor knowledge of German.
-
It's a shame that the video series is in German. You guys obviously speak English (as most of the flight simmers word wide).
-
Finally! I can't describe how happy I am!!! :) Congratulations Leatherneck Simulations! :pilotfly:
-
Thanks Bunyap, you really help me wait!
-
Yeah, I'm also very excited about the L-39 and it really would be the perfect trainer for the MiG-21, but it would have to be released before the MiG-21 module. It's funny, I have so eagerly waited the release of MiG-21 and now when it's near, it kinda feels that it would be good to have the Albatros first! :) Than we could do the training the right way. Also, I'm curious about that ED & Virtual Patriots situation...

Really nice handling. It's a shame that subtitles are not in English. I can understand just a little bit, but not much.
-
@stray cat - It's realistic and I think that's the way it should be. We are not in the 70s. These aircrafts are old.
-
Great article, thanks!

Finally we get what we wanted so badly! Big thanks to LS guys for approval. Now my mind can absorb some quality stuff. :smartass:
-
If I understood correctly, you said that in the evening the real MiG-21 pilot of the Czechoslovak Air Force will do the graduation video of the module. So my question is: where can we get the link and at what time in the evening this stream will take place?
-
That would be awesome! Can you give us some more detailed info? When, or where is the link of announcement? I visited the dcs-uvp.cz but I couldn't find any info about that stream and I don't speak Czech. :) :helpsmilie:
-
This guy doesn't even know the name of the company which made the module. That's the proof how much he respects the privilege of having it before the rest of us. Maybe this streams are intended to be funny. But they are not.

+1 I don't want to start whining again but I don't understand why Bunyap can't make a video and those arcade gamers who doesn't know where altimeter is, can. I know, I'm whining again...
-
Ericoh, thanks for the link! But it would be so much better that BeacvAV8R or Bunyap got the permission to publish video instead of DevilDog. It's really tiring to listen to his greetings to everybody who joins TS or what ever it is. Lots of yelling, swearing and almost none of real flying. But, it will get better I hope. Can't wait for Bunyap's video series...
-
That is simply not true. LS built the module without our money. Here, take a look: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=121171 It is a big red line, you can't be so blind to miss it. And do us all a favor, stop draging this thread off topic and everyone into the fight. Create new thread about your disagreements. You show up now when it is almost finished and annoy with some statements which has been proven to be false long ago. Just stop and relax!

Finally we get review video and it lasts for over 15 minutes! WOW!! Great work Froogle! The only thing I didn't like is the labels. It kind of kills immersion ;)

@BST: When can we expect the Mi-8 manual to be available?
Mrgud replied to Flagrum's topic in DCS: Mi-8MTV2 Magnificent Eight
I agree with you completely. But I think that in the case of Mi-8, less work had to be done to finish the manual than to create whole new module (the Sabre). Someone said it right: the completition of the manual must not depend on only one man (EvilBivol). If he can't finish it, someone should say what is the problem and take over that task to him self. -
Hey man, I'm nobody's attorney! If you have a problem, write an email to Leatherneck Simulations and explain it to them. I will not search the forums for you to give you a link where BeachAV8R has nicely explained why he and the rest of the guys got promo copies. I am backer from the day 1 also and I do not intend to rub it at anybody's nose. It is my free will to come to the forums 20 times a day for few years now to check out the news and to be patient. But now we can at least read reviews of the module and we get tons of screenshots and I'm grateful for that. We could have been kept in the dark.
-
It has been said many times: people who got promo copies are journalists.
-
Me too! ;)
