  1. Poll has to be updated with Windows 8
  2. Haha! Knowing the direct translation actually makes it that much funnier. Thanks!
  3. What does that really translate from Russian? I'd type it into a translator but I don't think I have that crazy )-( key :(
  4. Happy Birthday!!!
  5. I think the cheapest way would be to print the pages out at Staples or an office supply store, and ask them to punch them. Not sure what they would charge though for duplex printing. Just updated first post with a few additional pictures of each manual, including the b/w contrast as well as the perfect binding.
  6. Great question!
  7. Lmao, I'm going to screenshot that error message^ Glad you enjoyed it, I'm actually still waiting for another one from a few weeks back that has been held up from Sandy. Thanks again ;)
  8. Not a problem, glad I could help!
  9. I know I could ask the support but might get a quicker question here; I downloaded what I believe to be the free trial version of TacView a few weeks ago and like what I saw but I think I kept getting a prompt to register/purchase a key even though I thought I read there is a free standalone copy. Is that true or is it just the free trial and the home editions?
  10. I primarily use PowerIso to create images, and prefer Daemon to emulate them as it's a smaller/quicker UI and something I've used for ages, whereas PowerIso I've just started using in the last few years. Realistically yes, I guess I could just give up DT and go with PowerIso on Win8. Thanks for the suggestion
  11. Earlier today I finally took the step and upgraded my 6 yr old laptop to Win8 x86. Pretty solid overall, and maybe i'll be quicker with the interface in a few days/weeks, but to those using the OS since launch last week, do you really find yourselves working more quickly or efficiently? The apps are great and super quick, but I feel like the simple task of browsing webpages and multi-tasking (not to mention going back and forth w/ the Metro style and the classic desktop) might slow me down. And compability looks great thus far, minus one major application that I use almost on a daily basis, Daemon Tools, which they have a "Pro" version available for Win8 and a trial, but no "Lite/Free" version which is not good.
  12. Just saw this documentary a few months ago (recommended it recently in the documentary thread) and honestly think it's one of the best films out there! I've never felt more on the front lines and being part of the experience in Afghanistan all with live fire. Obviously war is not all fun and games and this really shows it all. Not to mention some really sweet Warthog straffe runs!
  13. I was a pretty lucky one where I live. Southern coast of Long Island in Suffolk County. These pictures were taken about 1/2 a mile down the block from me, and the water basically stopped at my driveway. We didn't lose any trees fortunately, but people lost millions on my block. Absolute destruction and will take some time to repair. I was without power for basically a day and a half, cable is still out (could careless) and a few friends still don't have power nearby. Here's a few pictures, but a lot of the same throughout town. Water, fallen trees, down power lines...
  14. As long as you have noticed that a few people enjoy that film then we can agree to disagree :smilewink:
  15. NOOOOO, i love star wars, hence my recently changed avatar to sport some SW love lol. But i'm excited for more movies, but not a big fan that it's Disney, b/c unless they're going to release PG-13/R rated movies, they're not going to be as entertaining as if they were in my opinion.
  16. They absolutely are! Packages that I should have received on Tuesday are probably delayed until Friday, if not later  And thanks cichlidfan for clarifying an earlier post about the version (I've been without power the last few days and barely had a chance to come on here). Just to clarify again, these manuals are from the most recent versions available from ED's documentation area I've also posted my available pictures thus far from the A-10C Warthog manual, and will post more once I have the time too :smilewink:
  17. The only probem with going with the ring bound is the limitation in pages. For that size manual, the maximum amount of pages it can have is only 400. I'm not sure of any other way except for splitting it up, which I guess isn't the worst thing, but might be annoying for some to have to buy multiple manuals for the complete edition. I'm open to ideas
  18. I'm assuming some of the orders will be held up from the storm. Three packages of mine are already delayed including this one. Hopefully within a week!
  19. The world is amazing
  20. That's an incredible shot. I love space, CAN WE GET A SPACE SIMULATOR! lol
  21. If you take a peak at this thread, there's a few documents showcasing the changes from version to version. It's also a good thread to keep an eye on if you're interested to stay up to date with that material. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=78443
  22. I've been using the Thrustmaster T1600 for this game primarily since late last year and it's a pretty basic inexpensive joystick. I know it runs sub-$50 and one day I hope to upgrade. It's something to start out with and see how you like the game and what not.
  23. Oh, okay. See I'm looking to purchase the upgrade promo directly from Microsoft and my laptop is 32 bit, desktop for gaming and what not is 64. I don't want to run Win8 on my desktop at this time, but potentially would like to down the road.
  24. I feel tempted to pick up a copy for my laptop, but at the same time I would love to get one of the Win8 Pro tablets once they're released and their price heavily drops lol. So in the meantime $40 isn't the worst. Do you get to choose whether it's x86 or x64? Or you get both in the .iso or disc sent to you?
  25. This might get interesting, we've had some crazy weather this summer w/ the tornado warnings and what not on the south shore of Long Island. (Suffolk county)
