While you're at it, why not make mod for a fisheye overlay to simulate the GoPro's recording. ;) -

Keep in mind that by default you don't have a visible pilot in the pit.. You'd need mods for that. -
GoPro-like positioning for camera views?

I'm not sure but as far as I remember you can save a snapview pretty much everywhere in the pit along the 6DOF so theoretically you can at least position the viewpoint against the canopy glass, at the HUD base, at the top of the seat, etc. -

Have you tried making custom snap views with your 'head' off set to the position of the GoPro? -
I'd recommend to not constantly calculate. Instead, pre-calculate what your height should be at 5nm, 4nm, 3nm, etc. If you start to continuously cross check your instruments you'll end up loosing your situational awareness and that might be even more dangerous than flying visually without checking a single instrument.

Yep.. Still, difficult to rollback if you don't use iTunes and if you don't sync your iPhone with other devices.

And what do these pyrotechnics do exactly, self ignite when getting in contact with the oxigen in the air around the aircraft?

Since the Tapatalk update of December 29, at least the entire "English" section of the board including every forum and all sub forums got flattened out. All hierarchal levels are gone, it shows up as one big list of around 100 sub forums in Tapatalk. I'm sure people will blame Tapatalk for it but they sure aren't going to roll back so I guess it's up to ED to fix it or leave it as it is. Other forums I have enabled in Tapatalk do not suffer from this.

[DCS World - A10-C] - RWR Audio Expansion
JayPee replied to Tetra's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Eddie's post dates back to December 9 this year. Tetra's opening post is last edited in the summer of this year. Is this fix implemented in v3.1? I could scan the .LUA file myself but I can't compare it to older versions to see what is and what is not fixed in 3.1. Thanks and have fun tonight! -
Pictures of actual chaff? Huh where does it have the dispensers?

Too bad.. A while back Newegg opened up to Dutch customers as well. However unlike e.g. Amazon they don't have their own DC on the European mainland. Which means that even if they allow Dutch customers to buy items off their site, they ship it from the US to the Netherlands which means 100EUR (125USD) shipping+Dutch tax+duty. :(

Is it possible to place the manually unpacked files of the Ghostscript installer into the root of the Kneeboard Builder so we can use the KB without actually installing GS? The GS installer (like so many) can simply be unpacked with 7-Zip so that won't be problem.

I tend to not read every word on these forums and instead let the pictures do the talking, if you don't mind. :) Anyway, got my answer!

That screenshot you posted looks very nice indeed. Looks very much like Ricardo's HD cockpit for the Hog. Did he by any chance share some of his work with you for this project?

1. I'm using the RAE mod for a long time now, has never caused any trouble so far. I am hoping to troubleshoot the issue without trying mod by mod, as that is going to take a long time to narrow the issue down. 2. I haven't installed anything Hawk-related.
-
It's not the same problem. The topic you link simply describes a problem where MSVCR110.DLL cannot be found.
-
My previous topic on my random crashes took an unfortunate turn towards a log entry which does not seem to be the issue as the crashes occur randomly and not after one specific log entry. In short: I am experiencing what seem to be random crashes of DCS.EXE referring to MSVCR110.DLL. I am not playing any SP so I can't know if it is a specific MP issue. Troubleshooting would be very tedious as I'd have to play SP over and over hoping the crash occurs (or not). I am not aware of any specific scenario which is going to reproduce the crash so controlling for it is going to be difficult. I do have a feeling (nothing more) that somehow the crashes occur when it gets 'crowdy'. To be specific, either when multiple players are online and/or a lot of action going on. Crashes occur both when joining a server as a client and when I am hosting the server myself. What I've done so far: Re-installed Directx 9 runtimes Re-installed Directx 11 runtimes Un-installed & re-installed Visual C++ redist 2010 x86 2010 x64 2012 x86 2012 x64 Re-installed DCSW Repaired / Updated DCSW Updated Nvidia drivers Updated Windows 8.1 with all required and optional updates Attached are the logs and dumps of the most recent crash and below is the report of the Windows debugging tools. I am hoping at least someone knowledgeable can help me understand the report. ************* Symbol Path validation summary ************** Response Time (ms) Location Deferred SRV*C:\Windows\symbol_cache*http://msdl.microsoft.com/download/symbols Symbol search path is: SRV*C:\Windows\symbol_cache*http://msdl.microsoft.com/download/symbols Executable search path is: Windows 8 Version 9600 MP (8 procs) Free x64 Product: WinNt, suite: SingleUserTS Built by: 6.3.9600.17031 (winblue_gdr.140221-1952) Machine Name: Debug session time: Sun Dec 28 22:36:06.000 2014 (UTC + 1:00) System Uptime: not available Process Uptime: 0 days 0:08:33.000 ..................................... Pardon me for using the wiki but I didn't feel like Googling any further right now. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infra-red_search_and_track As it says, an IRST system 'can' use a laser as a rangefinder. However, even if it is the case, I doubt a rangefinding laser is strong enough/of the right type to be detected by an LWS system. A rangefinding laser is a different one from a targetting laser used to paint targets for missiles and other sensors to pick up. The more knowledgeable should chime in if this is not correct.

You would guess or you have reason to believe?

Or no code at all..

Right..
