    Moving map ?

I am working on the moving map right now. It requires a rewrite of the entire EHSD, that is why it takes longer than expected.
  2. Autopilot is being worked on by CptSmiley.
  3. Waypoint designation as a target point is something we are working on at this time. It will be released along with the moving map.
  4. Folks, the flashing laser code indicates an internal error condition in which the displayed code and the laser designator code are not the same. That should not happen. To fix this, try changing the laser code. Please indicate me when you get the flashing code condition so I can track this bug and squash it. Thanks in advance.
  5. You have to wait about three minutes for the FLIR to be available when starting form a cold start.
  6. I'll check these issues as soon as I finish with the moving map.
  7. 1.5.8 Updates will be forthcoming for as long as 1.5.8 is being updated by ED. Once 1.5.8 enters legacy status there will be no further updates.
  8. You have to double press the SSS Down in less than 0.8 seconds to enable HTS.
  9. That feature has been disabled. Fix should be available on next update.
  10. This is the tail of an AV-8B N/A or Plus. You can see the RWR and the tail cone light bulb and that's it. There are no other sensors in the tail. The belly is also clean: And the wings: This aircraft does not have MLWS.
  11. The LITENING II POD manual that I have states that all firing is steady. Only when the laser is in LASER RANGING mode a 3 second timer is used. I'll check anyway.
  12. Check your HUD image. There are no weapons selected and you are in attack mode. If you had a weapon selected, its code would be visible.
  13. Actually the slanted lines on the HUD means: NO WEAPONS AVAILABLE for the selected mode.
  14. I'll check and fix that.
  15. You are welcome to check all photographs of AV-8B NA/Plus available online. I have not detected anything remotely looking like an IR MWLS sensor, anywhere. It only has four RWR sensors, two on the tail cone and one on each wing.
  16. To engage the HTS mode, which can only be done via HOTAS, you must double click the [sensor Select DOWN: HUD Scene Reject/TGP] button for less than 0.80 seconds.
  17. COuld be a bug.
  18. To be honest, the current Litening IV pod is completely integrated into the AV-8B NA/PLUS systems and it has made the ARBS/DMT redundant in the NA thanks to its FLIR and laser designation capability. But before that, yeah. It was pretty much that. In fact the Litening II pod, the one modeled here, was considered as a special kind of Maverick by the AV-8B NA/PLUS systems. Unfortunately, since the Litening IV pod is currently in use, its documentation is still restricted. BTW, one of the new features it has is that it can remotely managed by the FAC in the ground, who then uses it to designate targets for the pilot to engage.
  19. TRNL: Training. No laser beam is fired but the TPOD behaves as if it is. MRKR: Marker. It is a low power IR laser beam used to mark spots on the ground for ground troops. The beam can be seen with NVG. This beam cannot be used to guide weapons. LSR: Laser. This is the high power laser beam used for weapons guidance. It cannot be seen with NVG. LRNG: This is laser ranging. It fires the high power laser for 3 seconds in order to get precise range to target.
  20. I placed that as a safety measure. If the measure does not exist, it will be disabled.
  21. They should be included.
  22. I will add a sticky later today
  23. TPOD laser tracking
  24. Multiple laser spots bug is now officially squashed. Axis TPOD camera slewing is active.
  25. One caveat, when the TPOD has full TDC control the aircrat will not acknowledge a TPOD locked target. This mode is better suited when you are buddy lasing.
