The 2002 TACMAN details the Sidearm and how to employ it.

There is one laser code for the aircraft. It is the same for the DMT, TGP and AGM-65E, which will eventually be included. Also the code resets to its default value of 1111 whenever the aircraft is weight-on-wheels. So the kneeboard solution does not work for the AV-8B DA, NA and Plus.

You cannot choose AA weapons using the ACP. You can only choose them via HOTAS. Which pylon becomes active is automatically selected.

Unfortunately from the pilot's viewpoint those options look the same. On the other hand, the people on the receiving end will indeed notice the difference between all these fuzing options.

The MK-20 bug involves those in ITERS. If you use one bomb per pylon, they will work as intended. The bug has been squashed and is ready for the next release/update.

You can check your NWS mode in the VSTOL HUD. At the right of the slipball you will see one of the following: CSTR: Caster mode. You will have to press the NWS HOTAS button to get NWS. The AWLS channels have everything the system needs: * ILS frequency * Runway heading * TACAN channle (if it exists) * Glideslope When activated, the AWLS TACAN channel will override the selected TACAN channel while it is active. When you deactivate AWLS, the previous TACAN channel is selected again. Check the EHSD page, the words AWLS must be boxed. The list is in the pocket guide in the last pages. Selecting the sidearm by using the ACP panel is bugged. Select it by using the MPCD. You can use the STRS page or the RWR page.

Yes. That's me not deciding on which term to use on the CCD guided mavs. So I used TVMAVs on the systems code but later decided to go with EOMAVs. I'll change all TVMAVs legend to EOMAV soon.

Tarawa still does not have TACAN.

Boeing incorporated a computerize system to help the pilot with that. It is called the SAAHS.
