as voice recognition becomes better and better, wouldn't be nice to give voice command to your wingman, even better, make it so to "understand logically" what you are saying so you don't even need to say a particular command you would just explain it .. i know what u r thinking)) what?!?! can't be done, well technically yes, but practically probably not for another 5-10 yrs.. IBM already did the "understanding AI" that actually makes sense of the answer-question connection .. Siri and other much better programs can understand questions and voice recognition is almost very usable today.. aaahh.. my christmas wish)) c'mon Santa, pick up the pace on the AI department..

lol,they do fly erratic yes,maybe its programmed to scare the Sh*t of the enemy as he watches and thinks..okei i'm in the clear, no wait, i'm not..oh what do i do, do i maneuver or not,do i wait ..where d hell is this missile even going..aaa to my plane..how is that possible)lol i doubt drone target was maneuvering 5Gs to warrant such erratic missile trajectory..but it does seem to shorten the range of the missile considerably..

oh yeah, the fire in the end.. i was thinking.. were is the fire-fighting equipment.. pressure was for weak,my garden hose is better pressured..so the firefighter had to go close and risk his life as tires explode.. from what i know i you are really close when such passenger jet tire blows u get easily deaf if not even physical damage..

the way i see modern battle its way more different than last century tactics.. the informational battlefield and fact that most battles will be urban(why?:because of informational availability its much easier to analyse where you are better off:if weaker you stay in urban territories, if stronger u will fight your enemy in urban territories)..meaning MBT will become more heavier, more armored and will need less ATGM abilities.. will require silent drive(electric drive) for the kill shot in urban territories, ..and most certainly big armies like US,Russia,China will not need more than 500-1500 such tanks.. overall numbers are dwindling because ability to deploy them without destruction is increasing due to inter-connectivity of all battle systems and leathality of them.. Plus more tanks, means more trucks for logistics(fuel, ammo etc).. it creates a much more dangerous and more expensive way to operate such an army.. I suspect in close future the tank pool of all nations to shrink 30-60 % according to doctrine and other circumstantial reasons.. I'm still surprised nobody is building MUT (Main Urban Tank), Russians have done their "Terminator" support vehicle for tank support and some urban fighting, but i think a dedicated MUT will be needed much more.. basically hell of a armored Tank that you can't kill if you throw a ton of TNT at him, while tank would be armed with flame-thrower, sleep gas, jammer equippment, sound weapons, other energy weapons and would operate more or less 20-300 feet from the enemy while sustaining easily the hits from RPGs, ATGM.. of course such a tank will be a monster in terms of weight and will need special trucks to deliver him to urban environment and out of it, not to mention fuel guzzler that would make him operational for 2-3 hours tops while covering 10-20 miles at most.. but enough to clear any reinforcement in urban environment.. anyway,at least this is my prediction..

if lockheed is so hysterical that it considers F-16A from the 70's a top secret technology than this is a really sad world.. i mean F22 is like 3 generation above the F16A-the very first one that had even less BVR capability than the Mig-23.. and yet its supposed to be a secret.. i can only imagine F22 isn't really so developed if disclosing an old model like F16 is so security breach like and endangering.))lol..

T90 costs 2-3 million USD which is by FAAAR cheaper than Abrams or Leopard STARTING at 5-6 million USD.. and that is extremely cheaper when considering operation costs which are lower, crew number which is lower, and less weight,better maneuverability and much better ability to keep on running without much technical support for longer duration of time.. as such its amazing machine.. u sound like a fanboy yourself not me.. i see the advantages of every tank, as i said, t-80,t-90(btw there are over 450 T-90 i believe in RF right now so its not a couple like you said quoting : " not the rare-as-hens-teeth T90 that you cherry-picked for your argument" ) plus RF is building the new Armata MBT so there is no use in making thousands of T-90 today.. so somehow the cost of the missile (that is old t-72 ATGM missile costs the same as the whole tank from that era?-factually wrong, you could not be more.. just as todays T-90 is 2-3 mil. $, and ATGM is 20-40K $ ..same ratio was for previous models.

@maturin.. not exactly, capitalism only become to existence with the invention called bank and even more so CREDIT.. basically to hold CAPITAL and on base of this you give CREDIT..is the most important aspect that makes all the rest possible.. of course,ppl were fighting before the concept of money itself, so obviously its not capitalism that is at fault here but the nature of men.. although capitalism certainly doesn't encourage peaceful behavior, in fact it does exactly opposite..it seeks monopolies and later wars to destroy excess capacity that has accumulated in the system and risks destroying the ponzi scheme based on endless credit that doesn't have the backing anymore because of the over-supply problem.. so its more of a evolution of violence.. capitalism is the peak of this evolution.. sadly this evolution is not the kind where humanity progresses but more likely devolve to a more "natural" state -- like mulch for the earth it seems..

i guess next step in total immersion would be oculus GLOVES)) you put them on and they have sensors all around them so when you "touch" a button in the cockpit you feel the pressure on the corresponding finger.. making you actually flip the buttons in cockpit with your own hand all the time while seeing it in 3D in the game as you move it.. now that is what i would say is total immersion.. minus the actually being in the plane for real...

as long as economic system -capitalism(which is btw only system we know of,even socialism was a form of capitalism but with a different rules of division of labor that is all) exists war is inevitable.. when you have a system that is run on monopolies and resources that are high demand and low on supply(to increase profit) war is inevitable.. the system demands it.. technology in this form acts as a deflationary force that brings cost down but increases losses in profitability,as long as credit is not maxed out this can be remedied,but when credit is maxed out then lowering costs even more is not the solution but destruction of productive capacities that produce deflationary forces becomes imperative-ergo war. No better way to destroy productive capacities than war,destroy the factories,infrastructure,businesses, and most of all manpower, and you create balance in the economic system as the capacity that was oversupplying and destroying the status quo is eliminated. Of course it would be more wise to change economic system that doesn't require such drastic measures but that would mean we would have to evolve..something we are death on keen on not doing.. way i see it, we are devolving back to chimps.. armed with nukes.. IF there are aliens and they are observing us i think they must be getting real bored with the show, its ending up like those mexican soap operas, same story every week, more BS, more drama, never-ending series that goes nowhere.. majority of ppl today have been totally detached by increasing their pleasure, either through sex,money,greed, or lack of power to achieve those commercialized goals. @outonthetop.. u failed to see the logic.. as you state in fulda gap t-80,90 with their ATGM weapons wouldn't be able to use them properly..which means what? they weren't designed for fulda gap but for NATO rush towards Russia which was more likely.. if you believe Russia was about to invade Europe that is your thing, but T-80,90 designs disprove you and you even state it correctly why that is so.. so, why would Russia build a tank that works brilliantly for flat ukraine,russia terrain and horribly for europe terrain if they had offensive ideas? it doesn't see.. again, t-80,90 with ATGM works perfectly for what i described.. not so well for tight,less flat european terrain.. about ATGM being useless cuz tanks can pop smoke?)) lol, yeah that is not really bullet proof is it?.. if abrams would be attacking an area they will be pinged by lasers at 6000-8000 meters and start popping smoke.. how long can they keep popping smoke as they move forwards 20-30 mph?..that would cover 2000 meters at best..still they end up without smoke at 4000-5500 meters for t-80,90 to launch their weapons .. problem is when somebody lases the target u don't know if they actually fired a missile,u just know they r lasing.. a smart operator will wait for the smoke to pop up,clear out,they fire his ATGM.. if defensive position with tanks entrenched ATGM prove valuable weapon.. p.s.:lol, what!? ATGM in t-90 cost as much as the tank? i really hope that is not what you meant.. those missiles cost 20-40.000 $ a pieace, T-90 about 2-3 million $ and Abrams +5 million $.. overall.. more than worth it..

@oscar.. range doesn't effect penetration capability of ATGM .. if they are designed to penetrate lets say 800 mm of such and such armor than yes it would be a kill every single time.. problem with simulation is terrain, in reality its very difficult to have a scenario where tanks are in the open like that.. only in a WW3 kinda scenario do i imagine hundreds if not thousands of tanks merging into a big fight over a flat terrain.. and in such situation Russian tanks could use the missiles to dilute the enemy tank numbers... but with all kind of smoke being fired from artillera to protect the tanks from enemy helicopter ATGM it would be hard to be very effective with tank fired ATGM.. of course if you are defending or trying to harass the enemy from the flanks then such t-80,90 are a nightmare as they could peck you all the time while staying out of range.. akin to cossack units pecking napoleon army from the flanks picking up the weakest members of the Grand Armee.. i think with this vision did RF employ such weapon on tanks.. its suited for Russian terrain, open spaces and with idea of defense in mind, where smaller tank units would be harassing the enemy while staying at a distance.. t-80,90 being lighter and more mobile means they could do that very well.. so its a part of whole doctrine thing... in the game we can't see all that, so its just flat terrain and two tanks duking it out, where obviously in such situation abrams doesn't stand a chance..
