Other people reports it being always on, regardless of the platform, myself included, seems to be a bug related to DCS World more than just the Huey

it was nice, yesterday evening we ended up making a picnik with Hueys on the american carrier :P

I guess so, but still, it's a big difference of fps, let's hope they'll manage, patch after patch, to reduce the load a little..

I went in the mission editor to make some shooting from an AA at a formation of 4 Hueys, and then at a formation of 4 ka-50. Same settings, same camera view, same point of view, same everything, what changed however is the fps. With the formation of the Hueys i got 25 fps. With the formation of the Ka-50s i got over 100 fps. That seems a little too much :( Did you try doing the same? Are you suffering as well?

You can also just run DCS World as usual, the autoupdater should show up right before launching the game, last i heard it checks for update every 24 hours.

So, following the last poll, 118 out of 205 people didn't see the Huey when they were hoping for, let's see how it goes..

Well, i am playing back Search and Rescue 4 until the Huey is actually released :D

Made some flight on fsx with the Airbus X and the 737 PMDG mostly And playing some World of Tanks.

I am fine with it being delayed until the next year, as long as they tell me "look guys, 1.2.4 is not ready yet, and we are still waiting for it". Lack of communication is here, no matter how much faith you have in the developers. I do have faith in them, and i am sure it will be an amazing work just like all the other DCS modules i already own. What i am asking however is a simple communication that let our spirits calm down a little. We already had the hype for the module, they increased giving us screens and videos last week because they thought the module was going to be released, which means our hype was increased as well. If they don't show up now, people will get annoyed (maybe not you, others will, it's normal when you think something is going to be released soon, but end up not being released, and i think there are plenty of messages here that shows that. And again, please (general advice) read the whole post i made, this is not against the devs, this is not about their work, or the faith people have, or how much time it requires, it's just a matter of keeping us informed. Even a "We don't know yet when it can be released" works. edit: i saw EvilBivol-1 made a post, thank you, that's much appreciated :)

Well, it was EvilBivol that said there were good chances of getting it the past weekend, now they had 4 more full working days to give us an update, what stopped them from releasing it? How much time will it actually take? If they are avoiding talking now to get us less annoyed well, it won't work, we are already annoyed because it was delayed, and this is not about having it released at the right time, with most bugs fixed and so on, this is about having the release announced and repeated more and more times without success, something i can stand as long as we are informed. Plus, last week they also started producing content about the Huey (probably because they were expecting to release it in the weekend), and now we are in the dark again.. Someone else will say "Better they work on the bugs than write to us", i disagree, even a simple "We found some bugs on x, we are expecting to fix it in y days" would be enough, and surely that doesn't steal much of their working time, right?

This is soon going to be a table to see how many people were disappointed to see the Huey wasn't released the day they wanted it to. That, or a new Maya Calendar

I think the first time i'll do is crashing it somewhere :( No doubt about it :P But yeah, free flight to get a general look at it, just feeling that i am actually playing it and i am in the cockpit of the mighty huey, then back on studying tutorials and checklists :P

I am glad to hear it's finally coming, less glad i'll have to pay 10 more dollars for it when it's still a beta, but oh well.. 39 dollars sounded about alright, 49 i am afraid doesn't have the same effect on my finances :P

Any work on FC3 can't be compared to the release of a new DCS module, it's annoying if it's getting delayed now because of 1.2.4 patch, let's hope this isn't the case!

Most games don't use SLI/Crossfire properly anyway, i would never go for two gpus to be honest.

I am really ignorant on the subject, so i'll ask, will the Huey have a sort of trim like the ka-50 have? Or it won't have one?

Which means that now the question changes from "When we will see the Huey" to "when we will see 1.2.4?" :( How much time usually pass between versions? Just to have a general idea..

Just a little clarification, is there an incremental 1.2.3 patch i can download from the site, or i'll need to pretty much download everything again and install all the 1.2.3 versions of every module i bought, plus DCS World? Is the autoupdater doing the same thing, or it will download just the incremental patch? Thanks for your reply, first time i have to update the game :P
