As for the maps, there is the Nevada map you can find in the shop and will be released later on. There is also another map on the Strait of Hormuz being worked on.

Agreed. My fps doubled or so on it. And helicopters, that seemed to be a little heavier, now are equally smooth as butter. Considering it's free it is worth a try.

I already had the open beta installed. The 1.5 upgrade was around 4GB to be downloaded, total 7GB installed.

As far as i understood that option helps you spot planes in the distance by increasing their size.

Same for me, Q9950, 8 GB Ram e Nvidia GTX 760 2GB In game it's fine, it just happens in the menu screen.

Guys com'on, we don't know the size. And even so you do know that some installers compress the file size too, right? :D You'll see when it's here ^_^

DCS World 1.5 : What will you do first? Hopefully we'll get to enjoy DCS World 1.5 in few hours/days. Once you have it installed and you start it, what are the things you will check first? I think the first stop for me will be checking all the options again, since there have been some different graphical options to set. Then i'll grab a F15, drop in some enemy planes at high altitude and start a mission with the sun low on the horizon so i can enjoy contrails from the engines and smoke trails from the missiles :)

EFM is being worked on, Wags doesn't say it's coming anytime soon. Personally i already have the C-101 and the Hawk, waiting on both for the AFM/EFM. I was considering buying the Mirage right away because i thought it would had the EFM right away as well, considering that the price was also a little higher than the usual modules. But if this is the case, i think i will wait a little more =/

The L-39 is not released yet. You can buy it, but it's not in game yet. It will be with DCS World 1.5. As Wags said in its last video, they expect to release it by mid september, more likely end of september

Select them to be players, not clients as far as i know.

Awesome mod as usual. Anyone knows why now labels for both friendly and enemy planes are light blue? How do i bring them back to the default colors?

Damn it, of course i missed it :( I see you people talking about scaling. Is it something like in Il2 Sturmovik where you can see the dots of the enemy planes when they are far in the distance to make it easier to identify them?

Nothing to buy now, i just want DCS 2 damn it :P

I am using the promod mod, it covers the same spots and many more in Europe so i don't feel the need to buy it, especially without sales. (i already had a post here and was deleted, would be nice to know why next time)

Thanks for the infos hehe I now own both the C-101 and the Hawk, both developers deserved my money for their work i would say. We'll see once the L-39 arrives.

Just to clarify this, if i buy the Hawk, which is now discounted, will i have to pay again for the advanced flight model later on when it's implemented or it will be implemented for free like it will happen for the C-101?
