  2. Are you using the right radio on the right freq? maybe its blacked out because your out of range. (JTAC, awacs, AFAC) Some options are only available when the mission contains that unit: awacs, flight, wingmen or others
  3. Its tricky to find and identify targets only from TGP. As in RL use awacs (BE bearing), JTAC and in coop your wingmen to find your tgts faster. share your SPI and tgt coord, make markpoints etc, simply communicate in TS with your flightmembers about what you/they see. When you have that data you can plan your attacks, in and outs much better. maybe that helps you on your way to tgt :-)

  5. Thats why I sometimes really enjoy my modded BS1.02(even with nevada ;)) With the terrain mods it comes close to DSC:W but the performance and stability is unmatched!!

My primary module was always the shark but i love it even more after some time on the huey. i also using more the high maneuverability with the deac AP channels. its simply a warmachine with a lot of power! you can loop, make barrel rolls, backward loops its simply a great fun!! I even enjoy BS 1.02 after all this years!! I have tons of mods installed that makes a different game WITH a great performance. I also say that the BS1 is a little more tricky to controll than bS2. you loosing your rotors very fast. The essential point for me to stay in SP on BS1 is the damn accurate AI. There severals AI mods out that makes friend and enemy AI absolutly deadly. Also coordinadet attacks with wingmens work really good. long live BS1 :-)

  9. I execute a run with unguided rockets with the FD but when im getting into troubles i turn off bank and pitch AP channel. You get a lot of maneuverability but the shark is still stabler than the huey 1.0 was! :-P I also like to have 4x30 unguided rockets pots with me when Im going on soft or medium targets in "free" air. They´re tricky but it makes a lot of fun to fly attack runs with 80 rockets :-)

Connectionspeed set to LAN? have you modified some files? do you crash in the lobby or mission loading or when u suffer a framerate loss (explosions, reconnect of player...) what was the ping you had to the server? So far welcome in the online world of DCS. :-( Im personally like these kind of crahes when i exactly plan a mission with my dudes. sneak slow and silent into the mission area. everything runs as planned and then that ähh damn thing throws back inthe browser.... and another grey hair somes out....
  11. I had the same problem with my X52pro before the FM update. Now its where smooth without curves and sat. Are you sure you get the latest update?

  15. I also dropped all curves and saturation is default 100. very smooth and good to control! Reminds me much more on the shark

  17. I had to reinstall DCS world + BS2 and huey. I downloaded the BS again and i cant install it after updating!! The installer tells me i need "BS 1.2.4.12179". I cant find it in the dl section, theres only 1.2.4.11.8.55. I cant fly my shark! :cry: Pls help!!

I try to keep the landing place little bit in front of the nose with 60knots. i try to keep the pitch stable. moves the landing place constantly away from my nose im too short. is the landing place always under my nose im too high. i think thats a good indicator in the beginning. it works for me best with around 40-50knots
  19. i dont have to make all that little corrections all the time like before :huh: if i trim it right i can hover around only with pedals...hmm if thats the real huey style im happy with that

  21. also the MG of the door gunner is too weak in my opinion even on softtargets!! but ive heard a big huey update is coming
  22. Your welcome! its not only a lack of skill to keep to huey stable, i just think the right equipment would cost 3000€ :D
  23. maybe you have to adjust the curve +/-5 to your needs. The DZ on throttle i set because i found myself sometimes in a oscilation of up and down. the vortex is a killer in the huey so need to be gentle. the take off is bit tricky but the hover easier because of the curve and dz. its easier to hold a sink rate. i also think thats an nice setting for throttle:
  24. i have a x52pro for the shark and its a really good stick for that but it is really hard to control the huey in a hover. so i also tried my old logitech 3d with: ruder: curv 20 y sat 90 X curv 25 y sat 80 Y curv 25 y sat 80 FFB OFF throttel DZ 10 curv 20 ... and its way better to control. with this settings i could land on roofs make nice hovers. Not perfect but a lot better tah with the x52
  25. i like that style :thumbup: would be awesome if we could see units jumping out the chopper or units get onboard on a medevac mission. maybe someday.....
