Waiting for somebody to make a vertical landing and take off now.

cypc - I have no more time to waste on quote wars and countering your every little half-truth.

RAZBAM choose to accept the offer and nobody forced them to do so. It left the Mirage project neglected for over a year. With not a single update or information. Since Harrier development started and it is out most of their effort goes to Harrier and M2000C is receiving less attention even though Prowler said that Harrier development won't impact on M2000C work. You make an attempt to simplify it, but I've been reading the forum regularly and I know how RAZBAMs attitude towards the project and community changed over the years. As somebody above said, they have already cashed on M2000C early access - and that's the impression I get. The update thread you have pointed too only shows the recent year. Does not show the year when project was hugely neglected. And yes, the Mirage started to receive updates again, great. INS update is not one of them. And that's what is the most annoying to me. Also little but annoying things like one wingtip light bigger than the other, synchronization of nav lights brightness. Various switches and controls not working and does not require a special API to fix. Mirage went quietly into release a long time a go. And that was dodgy if you ask me. So did the Mirage ! Nothing to be proud of. Thank you for sharing your philosophy of early access. With all due respect I don't see any sense in it. I believe it's actually the opposite. Yes, some comments go too far. It's 90% complete (give or take)

Well, coming to terms with RAZBAM not delivering is probably a sign of maturity. I mean, what can you do ? Citing Jack Sparrow: "The only rules that really matter are these: what a man can do and what a man can't do". And you have right to claim you're being happy with unfinished project. I mean, you confirmed exactly what I said in the post above. And I know why you don't like the "drama". Because people get fed up with negative emotions. And that's normal. But it still doesn't change the fact that RAZBAM fails to deliver. And maybe there is no deliberate will from RAZBAM to toy with people, but the project was hugely neglected and the negative response from the community was partly deserved. I see some updates to the module being made recently. Still RAZBAM gives no dates AFAIK to complete it's work. Which is very clever. No promises - no responsibility. Is that mature for you ?
-
Yup. That's exactly how I see it. It's taking advantage of players and their need for "new". They toy people like they are children. Then they go quiet on the forum because they have nothing to say and people get angry. Then people get divided into those who think the RAZBAM is awesome and those who thinks the RAZBAM sux. Divide and rule (...ban and close threads on forum) :-)

Thanks for the info.

What is the current state of the INS if somebody would be so kind ? Does it drift and does the update work ? Thanks
-
What about M2000C - that needs finishing too :-)

That's a bit harsh ? It's totally over the top guys.

Oh...sorry if it's me... I played twice and twice had the same problem. I was expecting that everybody else have the same problem. I am playing Open Beta with latest update. Will check my DCS files. Cheers

Hi, I have started the Mirage campaign and in mission one, after I try to taxi (at Vaziani) the nose cone suddenly breaks off showing the radar. The plane stops abruptly and loud bang can be heart. I noticed the same happens to the AI aircrafts. Bugged ?
-
Seems fine with me. It's just hard, as in RL I suppose.

Right....somehow, I was looking at some old version of the manual!? I looked in some place like Program Files/ DCS Open beta/Mods/m2000/docs..... But I think it's some old version! Ignore all comments I made about the manual. Sorry gents!

Really like the glass effect.

I am reading his post on his M2000C cockpit one day and a couple of days later I hear the news.... how strange.... :-( Rest In Peace.
-
Thanks for the hint. I will give it a try. I managed to actually make the plane do the climb...but it's a hit and miss with get it to work. And to be honest more on the "miss" side. Hence, I think it's not working as expected and not as described in the manual?

Ok guys, I am talking about Selected Altitude Hold. Altitude hold has been working fine.
-
Nope, doesn't work for me. Any other pre-requisits ? Alttude difference, attitude ? Minimum speed is 200kts if I remember correctly.
-
Does the autopilot works as per manual ? It doesn't work with me. Am I doing something wrong ? Especially the Hold Altitude AP

Combined Arms with 2.5 now worthy Mechanized warfare sim.
Skitter replied to oscar19681's topic in DCS: Combined Arms
Oh...have they removed the "heat" from the bottom of the trees ? It was present in the first version of 2.5, without hotfixes -
Hey, if i may give some feedback. The M2000C joystick and Throttle buttons description, would be easier to use if the listed buttons where separated by some kind of frame. It's sometimes a bit hard to tell which button does what. Thanks for the manual ;-)

baltic_dragon, well done ! Thank you !

Well, thank you for your advice. Remember to cross the street in places marked with stripes.

myHelljumper , I was switching the switch directly below the nosewheel light switch. It is described as "Air refueling external light switch" in Chuck's M2000C guide.
