Hi guys, I wonder if those who play on-line and have experience with various aircrafts could tell me if the M2000C is suitable for CAP and Air Interdiction missions? Regarding CAP, what is the fuel efficiency comparing to other DCS aircrafts? Would it be able to keep up with threats popping up ? Have anybody tried playing with Air Interdiction missions? I can see there is a limited supply of flares and I think CCRP can't be done on NAV points at the moment? The cluster anti-rwy bombs, can you use them as general purpose cluster bombs too? I know the version is a fighter...or rather an interceptor? Cheers

Hi DArt! What I mean is , shouldn't all of new contacts be "unknown" at the beginning, even if they are blue ? I mean, should the contacts have side anyway (blue/red) ? It should be up to the radar operator right ? I'd think the operator would put names to the contacts, as they appear on the display and are being identified, be either pilots talking to the radar operator, or being passed by other controllers. Not trying to be funny, just thought it would add to the play. Not sure how the real one works?

I've got a question keep coming back to my mind. Why, when a contact appears on your radar screen for the first time it already has a name from the mission editor. I don't know how a real radar diplay looks, but, shouldn't it be "unknown" or something ? :-) Cheers guys.

Is it me ? Since 1.5 I have a mouse pointer when looking through the binos view. Normal mouse pointer like in the system (Windows). Also moving the binos around is awkward. It is not very responsive.

It's really hard to believe for me that people who have a rant are not forum regulars. I suspect the majority of people who buy a pre-released or beta version must have been watching the plane for a while. And come on, the plane is out since Friday and they have already managed to fly enough to have a strong opinion? They are hardcore simmers. If thet are hardcore simmers, they knew where to find the info. They knew where to complain right? It's probably many things.... If you have never worked with clients, customers, you don't know how to deal with them and you can't appreciate the very openes of Razbams developers. Some are just not mature enough to think and then type. Have no moderation. Don't look at the balance of for and against. Some people behace like little children who are crying to see how much they can get out of complaining. Some people are just lazy and don't like to read Others have a bad day...or bad week, or bad life... In the end of the day, it was't hard to get information whats in the package , quite the opposite. We are all serious about the simming here. If somebody payed that much money without actually checking what they are paying for. Come on. They don 't give a crap anyway. It wasn't compulsory to buy the plane in beta, right? If you spend enought time to read about requirements specification for a beta ersion, maybe you should consider a different hobby. Or maybe you should have had spend that time reading about what the Mirage beta will be? I mean, the Razbam was so open about everything. There were Q and Answera from ED. I actually received reply straight from the devs. It was an honest answer. The Razbam did a 1st class job in devs <> hardcore simmers comms. I have no sympathy for the people who have a go at Razbam now.

Ermm..looks to me like it's DCS mod . You can see A-10C TAD on the left. It even says A-10 there. Or I misunderstood what you are saying ?

I haven't seen 1.5 update, but from the experience with the current stable version I can tell that the Combined Arms is begging for a SAM control Panel/Station with at least what the images by @dpatt711 show. Good job dpatt711. The main pain is probably, that you can't lock targets from the radar screen.

Hi guys, I am coming from A-10 C platform and much looking towards the M2000. I wonder if there will be a training mode/ training ordnance similar to A-10C. I mean , the sights , missile systems work as usual, just they don't launch. I imagine it would be very helpful for training air combat with your squadron mates without actually shooting and killing anyone ;-) It's all just the icing on the cake I know. But it adds to the simulation. Cheers

What shagrat said +1 Btw,I use firetrucks , fuel trucks when I play as ATC . Would be great if the fire truck had the sirens and the blue flashlights. I often send firetrucks when A-10s are coming for emergency landing. Also a follow me vehicle with orange flashlight would be so much fun. Also, I don't think the vehicles turn their lights on for the night ? It's also a bit stange.

Cibit has a good point. "Jack of all trades master of none". I fly A-10C , tried Huey, F-15, Black Shark, but...I mainly use one. On the other hand I know a guy who is quite proficient with A-10C, Ka-50, Huey, Mig-21 and he is looking to buy Mirage next.
