Also: Page 68: MUDSPIKE - I think, no such thing exist. I believe it's either SPIKE (A-A) or MUD (A-G). Correct me if I am wrong. But...there is a Podcast with an (ex) A-10C pilot by Dojo from 476th and I recall he explained it there. EDIT: By the way, if you check one of the brevity docs like this one https://fas.org/irp/doddir/army/fm1-02-1.pdf (which may be out of date) the term is explained: There is no MUDSPIKE mentioned in the document.

Page 112: Points 9 & 10 , are they correct ? I recall it is advised to drop the nose down before 100kts ? Cheers

Affirm, I typed the waypoint coordinates over (or rather "under") and as I pressed enter or insert, whatever it is, it cleared just fine, with new coordinates clearly visible. It did not happen after death. I joined the server for a second time. It crashed with the first join.

Is this related ? Logged in to server, picked a Mirage slot. Started the INS alignment and started inserting the mission waypoints. Then on waypoint 05 this happened:

As far as I remember in A-10C we (people I fly with ) switched off the random failures, cause either nothing would happen or the plane would simply start falling apart piece by piece until it's gone. It's very fair from RAZBAM and Zeus to actually disclose how the damage model works: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3006523&postcount=6 https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3006735&postcount=11 I believe RAZBAM is the team to be trusted about the details, unless we have a Mirage 2000C ground crew chief on forum who'd prove they're wrong. Right ?

Bunz , thanks for the hint ! It was the network card ! I switched to my cable and it is working fine now. The Wi-Fi , USB network card that was causing the problem is : LINKSYS model: WUSB633 Thanks again Bunz!

Nah, it's still broken. But it's weird it works fine on my local network ?

Hi DArt, I might have fixed the LotATC problem. But, please note I only tested it so far on a local connection between my laptop and my PC. Still it should be a valid test. What I did, I opened the properties of the lotatc.exe and in Advanced I de-selected : - Folder is ready for archiving - Allow files in this folder to have content indexed...... I deselected both options, run the program as administrator and it seems to be working fine I will test with another client as soon as I get a chance to confirm it's defo working. Cheers

Hi, sorry, I was away for a while and missed your question. I have: Intel Core I7-2600K 3400MHz 8MB Cache LGA1155

Right...I tested with LotAtc4DCS 1.0.0-rc5 - 64 bits - Same problem. People count for me on team speak and I can hear: 1.......5...7,8 Tested with LotAtc4DCS 1.0.0-rc4 - 64 bits - same problem. Any lower versions are not Windows 10 compatible and I have Windows 10. Unless it's the Windows 10 compatibility broken it ?

Hi again DArt, Hope you don't mind me talking about some more features that would be good to have in the LotATC. - Altitude alerts: For every flight to assign altitude restrictions. Well, if it would be possible to add location restrictions then I am in heaven.... This is obvious, we have many flights on both training and combat missions. Checkin if they are violating their restrictions all the time it's just not possible. And I have a strong suspicion the real radar operators have something like this on their equipment. - It would be great if you could toggle show/hide a drawing. But not all of them at once. If you could group them and toggle their visibility. that would be handy. Also I think to set transparency on the filling of a drawing would be good - but that's cosmetics. - Third, if you could mix the two above and give restrictions for an area marked by a drawing....wow!!! - Proximity alert - if flights are too close. Set minimal separation criteria. Well, I am sure you have enough on your plate already, but, if you find yourself looking for inspiration... :-) Cheers

By the way, if I can add something to the wishlist :-) - I only have little experience in managing A-A via LotATC and we only recently have a Mirage squadron in the wing but I think it's quite important to have interception course between friendly fighters and contacts. I wonder if this could be added, for example, next to the BRAA information. - I've read that AWACS have some radar identification capabilities. I don't know if it's based on the radar echo (then maybe aspect dependable as well?) or it identifies the radar of the contact similarly to RWR ? Also IFF feature would be nice too. Cheers!

Hi DArt , I have tried reinstalling (after a clean uninstall) and it's exactly the same. The uninstall actually removed the LotATC directory for me. DArt, if it helps....when I run the LotATC.exe it looks like my whole computer slows down. I don't even need to connect.

SharpeXB , as far as I remember he actually says that. Off the top of my head it sounds something like: "After you jettison the tank contact me via F10 menu". I did not get it first cause I mostly fly with my squadron and we have human ATC, so I am not used to the AI radio... but then I figured it out.
-
SharpeXB , haha ...I've been there mate! You have to bring up the radio dialog (just like for calling ATC or ground crew) and choose the F10 option (not the F10 map!). There you have an option to "inform" the instructor about the tank jettison.

Ahh, thanks for the info. Probably better to leave it until then....unless there's any advantage of hard locking before fire ?

I found the "Chuck's guide" explaining the radar nice. I played the "Radar training" mission delivered with the module before reading the guide. But I think, actually reading the guide before the training mission would probably worked better. Haven't checked the original manual about the radar though. I only learned the basics about the radar yesterday, so it's from a noob's perspective. Am I right saying you have to double lock a target to go into the STT mode to guide the weapon ? Will it still guide if it's just locked (single lock) ? Or have I mixed it all up completely ? :-D EDIT: From Chuck's Guide :

It all makes sense now. Thanks :-) -

OnlyforDCS , that's what I was doing. Just flying inverted for 30 seconds or more...unless I am missing some valid point. I'll check it out tonight, cheers. EDIT: I think I was going pretty "slow"/easy, does it make a difference? grunf mentioned afterburner. -

Haha , thanks CrashO, I could probably just switch the engine off :-) -

I am going to try again tonight. I was flying upside down for at least 30 seconds at 20 000ft. But....that's not enough right ? I have to pull some G as well right ? -

Hey guys, I recently started flying the M2k. Learning all the systems etc.. I tried to starve the engine flying upside down to train engine re-light procedure, but the engine just wouldn't die ! I take it that's not yet implemented ? BTW . I think the module is very playable. But there seems to be some raw parts that needs polishing. Some buttons and features to be implemented, it seems to me. I completely love the plane and really looking forward to the finished module. Cheers -
Apart from Master Caution, will it have any other effect ?

Entropy , in the AAR from training WED 22 MAR Dex pointed out : "Ghost bug strikes again; No radar contact with AXE all evening. Its fun when you have all aircraft packed into the N/W area of the TMA - and somewhere there is another flight.."
