  1. You can do following: 1. Select "Prepare Mission" under "Flights" in the mission editor 2. Once the mission is loaded enter the A-10C and unpause. 3. Exit the mission and once you reach the mission editor again press Save DCS has now included many preset files into the mission. For the radios you do not need all of them. Please take alook at this example: https://www.dropbox.com/s/zrmzkohlb9uho0j/Preset%20test.miz?dl=0 Open the .miz with Winrar. Just double click. You can see three folder; UHF_RADIO, VHF_AM_RADIO & VHF_FM_RADIO. Inside each folder is a SETTINGS.lua. Open the SETTINGS.lua with Notepad++ and change the frequencies to your likings, eg. [1]=227500000, [2]=238700000, [3]=248900000, [4]=255100000, Which are Uniform radio presets 1=227.500, 2=238.700, 3=248.900 & 4=255.1. Save the SETTINGS.lua and press Yes to the following question: 'File "SETTINGS-lua" was modified. Do you wish to update it in the archive?' Close Winrar. DO NOT SAVE Winrar. Its already done when you update the archieve. You can copy (CTLR+C) the three folder; UHF_RADIO, VHF_AM_RADIO & VHF_FM_RADIO into any mission you have created and then this will be you preset for those mission also :-) Cheers Hans
  2. Looking really nice Anton. Looking forward to see the final result. Top work  cheers Hans
  3. Why not map WH mic switch fwd-down-aft as push to talk in TS. Then you can map the same in DCS but this time include a modifier. I use the paddle switch (the one forward of nose wheel stering switch) as a modifier. This means that when I am using TS&Aries the radio menu's do not show up in DCS. And when I need the DCS radio for e.g. calling ground to re-arm, I hold the modifier (paddle switch) along with mic switch forward. Just a suggestion Cheers Hans
  4. Looking good Sir. Looking forward for more progress  Cheers Hans
  5. Ok the respawing issue is not related to the waypoints. Its related to vehicles from Ukraine. If __RESPAWN__ is used with Ukrainian vehicle they will not respawn. Problem solved by making a temporary mod of the db_countries.lua to include the vehicles needed under Georgian flag and then it works :-) Moderators you are more than welcome to delete this thread :-) Cheers Hans
  6. Hi, A noob question here. I have been implement the automan script by RAF into our training mission in order to automatically respawn groups once they are dead. Works great by the way Except sometimes it doesn't and I noticed that the waypoint for groups that does respawn showed up as 1-2-3-4..., whereas groups that don't respawn the waypoint was listed as SP-1-2-3...-DP. Does anyone know why there is a difference in how the waypoint show up? Attached screen dump is for a Russian SA-13 (top), Ukrainian SA-13 (middle) and a Georgian SA-13 (bottom). I mean apart from different countires it's the same group. It's probably very obvious... I just can't see the logic :-) Cheers Hans
  7. Welcome back Gremlin, Long time no see but I can see that you have been busy. I really like the idea with the Arduino's on ethernet. I did have similar setup running with MCP23017 on the DCS-BIOS experimental branch, where I just utilized this library ( http://docs.macetech.com/doku.php/centipede_shield) But haven't had time to look into it with the current DCS-BIOS version. Good to know you got it working. Looking forward to seeing more progress on your awesome pit  All the best Hans
  8. Definitly interested Deadman :-) I seem to recall that you also made a suggestion some time back about fire pull handles, but there wasn't enough interest. Ah found it; http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2026589&postcount=806 Would that still be possible if there was enought buyers? Cheers Hans
  9. Nice. Listening to it now. Thanks Dojo Cheers Hans
  10. Nicely done Sir  Cheers Hans
  11. yes you can. 476th vFG has a turtorial for this; http://www.476vfightergroup.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=249 Cheers Hans
  12. You can use Open Broadcaster Software; https://obsproject.com/ It lets you select which screen you want to record and/or part of screens. This is an example where the two MFCD from screen 2 are placed in the corners of the recorded screen 1; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M1on4Lg4bGs Cheers Hans
  13. Hi If you have Interphone in the top right line, then your Intercom panel is in INT position. This is used for contacting Ground crew and is why you can't reach Tower. Place Intercom panel switch into VHF, activate VHF mike switch then select ATC, select airfield (the top one is the one nearest to your aircraft e.g. the one you are parked at) and finally select F3 for Request Startip Cheers Hans
  14. Hi Ragtop, You assumption on how e rotary incremental encoder works is not correct and that's why it will not work without the firmware. It doesn't give output 1 when turning one way and output 2 when turning the other way. I does that when you are using the Leo Bodnar firmware or equivilent softwares. In reality the encoder itself is varying the A and B signals as can be seen on the attached picture. And that is why you need software to enterpret which directions you are turing because either way both A and B alters high/low. It the sequence that determines which way. Hope it made any sense. Cheers Hans
  15. Nice Deadman. Good find  Cheers Hans
  16. Very nice seat you are building X93355  Looking forward for the progress :-) Cheers Hans
  17. Nice, you have already got it up and running  Looking good Sir. Cheers Hans
  18. My guess would be it's a random failure. I get it once in a while and we are running random failure on our server. Normally it clears if you press ACK on OSB 11 and thenyou can give a go again. Once in a while I also get TGP XERROR, there is an explanation for it here; http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=85100 Cheers Hans
  19. Copy that. Thanks :) Cheers Hans
  20. @Rongor I may miss the obvius but why would you ever create a waypoint from mark point? I means once you have created a mark point you can place it in a flight if you want to without making a waypoint first. Just me getting curious :-) Cheers Hans
  21. Thanks a lot guys for the input. Highly appreciated  I think I will give LynxDK's suggestion a shot since it's local and actually very cheap. Cheers Hans
  22. Hi Guys, Does anyone have a good supplier of cockpit skin material in EU/Northern Europe? Need to be app. 3mm thick and should be relatively easy to bend in cold condition. Yet at the same time strong enough to hold itself in shape. I have two curves, one with a radius of R635mm and the other R560mm. Sheet size is about 2x1.5meters. Cheers Hans
  23. Let me know you need measurements. I have a real panel and you could borrow it for reference. PM if you wanna go for that option. Shipping back and forth shouldn't be too bad as I am in DK-9400. EDIT. Just found out that my panel is for a commercial aircraft NOT military. Sorry about that :( The levers aren't the same. Cheers Hans
  24. Hi Baldawg, Although I agree with Ian to go with DCS-BIOS you can do it via the Joystick.lua file. I strongly recommend you use JSGME to exchange the modded joystick.lua file as it makes it easier to install after DCS has been updated. Here is a link to JSGME if you aren't familiar with it already; http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=98607 As for the modding of the joystick.lua file please take a look here; http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2017801&postcount=52 It should give you an idea of what is done. I'll update this post later today with the joystick.lua I am currently using myself :-) Cheers Hans
  25. Speedt recovery to you Weeb. Hope you are 5-by-5 soon :) Cheers Hans
