  1. Not to be nitpicking but No doubt that the TGP is superior to using the Mav as a poor man's TGP but according the pilots you still get the the sodastraw effect out of the TGP; https://youtu.be/_L_TjXXx7eQ?t=496 http://www.sponauer.com/a-10litening/index.html Cheers Hans
  2. Nice weeb. Looks like you are almost ready to start cutting again  Cheers Hans
  3. Looking good LynxDK  With regard to the altimeter perhaps this one is small enough to implement; http://www.mouser.dk/Search/ProductDetail.aspx?R=SRBV131803virtualkey68800000virtualkey688-SRBV131803 I know it doesn't have momentary outer positions but until we find a small one that can do that it may work. Cheers Hans
  4. Nice progress Tekkx  cheers Hans
  5. :megalol: True Congratulations on your purchase A10C-Wolf  Cheers Hans
  6. Yeah sorry about that Deadman. As my throttle was embedded in a console I hadn't noticed that its not brick shaped but more conical brick  Should have checked sooner. Cheers Hans
  7. It's the line just above where the UTM coordinates are entered. If it says 38T then type 37T and press selection key next to where it says 38T. Then CDU will change map reference to 37T. Cheers Hans
  8. Ok that took a little longer than anticipated. Sorry about that. I went through my old Helios file and couldn find anything usefull. I then found what I believe is the file you are using which is for a 4 screen setup (http://www.gadrocsworkshop.com/node/12) It has the screen replicator but could find it in my own files. Then realised that I had probably used this one in stead (http://www.gadrocsworkshop.com/node/13). Its for main screen plus one for Helios. Realized that Gadroc had changed the background on this one. By removing the screen replicator from the first one (#12) and changing the background for the CDU to the one used in the second one (#13) you should be able to use it :-) Please find attached Cheers Hans DCS A-10C - without screen replicator.rar
  9. Please check check your spam filter, Sir. Cheers Hans
  10. True but that applies for the real mag switches. I think Tekxx is making his own coils. Nonetheless there is some good info here; http://www.viperpits.org/smf/index.php?topic=4583.0 http://www.viperpits.org/smf/index.php?topic=5902.0 Tekxx you may want to include the flyback diode in your design. Cheers Hans
  11. I will have to check when I come home but I am pretty sure you just need to open the Helios profile and delete the Screen Replicator. Then you'll get a transparent area. Let me get back to you later today. Cheers Hans
  12. This is a test I just did on an 26ET26-S where you can see how it operates https://youtu.be/_8M3T7OF4ZM Cheers Hans
  13. Ah I guess that was also what Flagrum was hinting in #11. Didn't really get it. Interesting read though. Thanks for sharing Sounds reasonable. Could be that the rocket might still have enough forward momentum to the left which is greater than the wind until impact. Cheers Hans
  14. DM, I can make you a drawing of the TM WH throttle base if you want. Otherwise you have to wait until I have purchased the consoles and got them shipped over :smilewink: Cheers Hans
  15. Thanks for the replies Gentlemen. I guess then I better start checking whether it is easiest/cheapest for me to find a 400Hz power supply or a powerfull DC supply in EU :smilewink: Cheers Hans
  16. Mike, just to an electronic noob. Your circuit doesn't require a 400Hz power supply, but if it is to be used to drive a multi syncro instrument a 400Hz source is needed in order to achieve syncronisation between the different boards? Is that totally incorrect understood? cheers Hans
  17. Very interesting thread Tekkx. I think HarSu has also been thinking about trying to make a replica mag switch. As agrasyuk they are really expensive. I have found them down to $60 plus shipping but its a waiting game if you want all 7 used in the A-10C. Noth sure if it is any assistance but I have attached a datasheet from an old model. Maybee you can use it. In any case I think its a very good initiative you are taking. All the best luck  Cheers Hans Toggle Swtich - Honeywell magnet toggle switche 31TS_ET.pdf
  18. The location my good friend Entropy is referring to is: ....DCS World\Mods\aircraft\A-10C\Scripts\CDU\indicator The file name is CDU_init.lua. You can run a DCS repair to re-establish the original CDU_init.lua provided you don't have any other mods installed as they will be removed as well. Cheers Hans
  19. That would be awesome Gadroc if this would make for easier implementation of real mag switches  Thanks a lot for your effort. Cheers Hans
  20. AN/ARC-164 analogue control head; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/291544453570?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Not as cheap as found some posts back but not too bad either
  21. This borrowed directly from a post from PeterP http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=96116 cheers Hans
  22. Good find Deadman  Cheers Hans
  23. Dear Tekkx, I should be home in a few hours. I will see if I can find the code :) Cheers Hans Edit. Arduino code attached. Did only work with DCS-BIOS in experimental version MasterCaution_by_Ian_HMA_modded_CENTIPEDE_2014-12-25.rar
  24. If I recall correctly from another thread the deleting of mark points is implemented in a later suite then the one we have in DCS. I may be mistaken of cause :-) Cheers Hans
  25. Hi Anton, I did get the centipede library to work but that was back in the DCS-BIOS experimental version. I didn't get the centipede library to work straight out of the box with later version of DCS-BIOS but I seem to recall Ian saying that it should be a fairly simple. But my simple programming understanding did get me to get it to work though :-D cheers Hans
