  1. Interesting. Never used the rudder trim to be honest, but that'a about to change :smilewink: Thanks Snoopy cheers Hans
  2. Be careful about overbanking. You may just end up hitting the ground. SEM TRN is bank 60-85º. Cheers Hans
  3. Looks good triise  Keep em comming Cheers Hans
  4. :surprise: It official. I dropped my jaw. I think we need to have a special section for bnepethomas and Warhog's builds called Exceptional Home Cockpits  Cheers Hans
  5. Looks awesome Weeb  I am using a standard 40" HD tv at about same distance and very satisfied with it :-) Cheers Hans
  6. @LynxDK, that won't really be possible as Deadman is making drawings for a replica based upon the fact that he has a A-10 trainer situated in the garage :smilewink: The center pedestal is needed for TISL and circuit breaker panel. Cheers Hans p.s. eventually found the picture of it (http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1903647&postcount=447) this thread is really long :-D
  7. Very nice hegykc, Looking really great. Can't wait to see the final result. Outstanding work  Cheers Hans
  8. @baltic_dragon, we had one of our newest member having problems last night with Aries not registring the PTT button, even though TS did. We remapped the PTT in Aries control panel but didn't solve. Eventually he ran through the fix Dojo posted in #732 and then it worked(http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2284286&postcount=732) Cheers Hans
  9. Strange. Which ones are not working? All the modded ones are how inputs in my pit are hooked upy. If you talk about some of the them being light blue and dark, then yes you are correct then it is because of the mismatch between the structure between the modded one and the originals. You may notice that when mapping some of them, when you flip the switch while in the control panel it sometimes goes to a different position than the feld where the joy button name is. But it still works when in pit Cheers Hans
  10. Hi Janis, Although I do agree with Ian and Warhog that you should take a look at DCS BIOS, I have attached my modified joystick defualt.lua file JSGME installation ready. All you need to do is to install it using JSGME you should be able to map the e.g. Master arm switch for the ARM and TRAIN position. default.lua has been prepared so that if the switch is not in ARM (value_down=0.2) or TRAIN (value_down=0)then it is in SAFE (value_up=0) See below as example. In this way you just need to mapped it via the OPTION-CONTROL menu in DCS. Bear in mind that the The CONTROL menu may look al little fuzzy since the structure of the moddet default.lua does not align with some of the other joystick lua files. But it works for me and have been using it for a long time. Having said so, I do have do convert for DCS BIOS eventually as it will give me more options especially in relation to potentiometers. I noticed that connecting hardwired potentiometers via Helios causes a lag, probably because the values change constantly dur to voltage fluctuation. To the best of my knowledge this has been taken care of in DCS BIOS. ps. not all panels have been prepared for this in the default.lua Cheers Hans HMA joystick default - NEW.rar
  11. Bloody good work DM. Cant wait to buy the plan  Then I will have to re-build the pit :music_whistling: Looking forward to see more. All the best Hans
  12. Aha thanks I didn't know that. Will try it tonight. Thanks Snoopy. *Edit* Ok I got it to work. In order for me to get it to work I first press any MIC switches on throttle, then I pull out "HM" switch on intercom control panel and then do the radio menu selection. If the "HM" switch was already out then I have to press any MIC switch on throttle followed by "HM" push in, then pull out and then do a radio menu selection. It only works if I do move "HM" after I have pressed any of the MIC switches on the throttle. Cheers Hans
  13. You don't really have to map the mic up switch. All you need to do is as P*Funk said, turn the Intercom Control panel rotary (page 153 in the flight manual) to INT and press mic switch forward. To the top of the radio menu it now says "Intercom", press F8, then F1 for Re-arm and re-fuel to access the selection menu. The Intercom Control panel rotary switch set the use of mic switch forward, so remember to set it back to VHF after re-arm/re-fuel. Otherwise you cannot contact tower on VFH AM. Cheers Hans
  14. Outstanding work Warhog. Thanks for sharing your techniques. Really appreciated  Cheers Hans
  15. Welcome back Ranger79. Outstanding news Sir. You and your missions have been greatly missed. cheers Hans
  16. Looks great. Thanks for sharing  Cheers Hans
  17. Did you run the Gossipbox installation as administrator? I seem to recall I had same message when I tried to install it some time back and the the problem was that I didn't install it as Administaror. cheers Hans
  18. Great DM. That will come in handy when I have to get around to make mine working. Thanks for sharring  Cheers Hans
  19. Thanks Vyrtuoz, great stuff as always  Did a small observation today. The GBU-38 came off the aircraft sideways please see attachment. In same test I dropped 6xMK-82AIR (without the balute) and one CBU-97 and they did come off the same heading as the aircraft. Cheers Hans
  20. I agree with Boltz, the low cost I have can do it. Attached is a two photos of it. First one is of the complete assemble. Second is when nut, washer and lock disc has been removed. This switch is a 12-pos and has 10 slots where you can lock depending of how many positions you want to use (3-12). In case of 11 positions you insert the tab on the lck disc into the 9th hole. Cheers Hans
  21. Well done, Sir. A very high quality standard. If my eye are not misleading me its a motorcycle steering damper you have mounted :smilewink: Cheers Hans
  22. It is not necessary to start Tacview to get recordings. What you should check is go to; C:\Users\"your name"\Saved Games\DCS\Scripts And check that the Export.lua holds below line; local Tacviewlfs=require('lfs');dofile(Tacviewlfs.writedir()..'Scripts/TacviewExportDCS.lua') When opening the .lua use Notepad++ (http://notepad-plus-plus.org/) Cheers Hans
  23. Agree. Go for Aries. The 10th Gunfighters are testing a new Beta version (http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2296869&postcount=745) after some bug hunting. It will be worth waiting for :-) Cheers Hans
  24. Good lookcing pit you have there, Sir. Are you actually projecting on the HUD or are the HUD from the main screen? Cheers Hans
  25. Now I admit that I am not fully sure but it looks like your ILS is not turned ON. When I look at the line to OFF it seems like arrow indication covers some of line thus in OFF position. Picture is "Freq". Cheers Hans
