On top of that I'm checking the DCS log and there is no reference to the script I'm trying to load in. I can see all other scripts that are loaded via do script file but not the one I'm trying to load as do script.:(:(

Hi guys. For the life of me I’m trying to run my lua scripts from a directory on the server instead of placing them in the mission itself. From the info I’m finding keeps leading to assert(loadfile( “xxxx.lua”))() but for some reason it just is not working. I’ve set the trigger as switched / condition is Flag equals (1.1) and action do script with set flag value of 1.0. Is there something I’m missing here because for me it just does not seem to work. Hey all. Not sure if this has ever been asked before. I’m sure it has but I can’t seem to find anything in it. With all the scripts out there is there a script or a way lay out triggers that will have a hostile force disengage without any shots been fired from either side? Example: an aircraft gets intercepted and escorted out of the area or a battle group entering into a wrong area and been made to turn around.

May I ask what's happening with this and why every day I restart this it shows more servers down.

Thanks for the reply xcom... :) I was able to get it to show on the list for others but for some reason now I can't see it on my on my network or via server list. however I can join them by manually entering the ip. Not sure whats going on there. If I host a mission on my old server PC.. No problem whatsoever but as soon as I host on the server itself then I can't see a darn thing. not sure what the issue is. Also I did as you suggested and got the results you were indicating.

Good Morning all. So I picked up a HP windows server this weekend which is Rubin g windows server 2008 R2. I have everything installed, with all ports open. I can see the servers and missions on the web GUI but I can,t see them in the mission list online Running a server in windows 10 is straight forward but on windows server OS. As I indicated all ports are opened and pointed to the Server IP. Ports and programs are allowed through Outbound through windows firewall. So I’m not sure if it is something I need to setup and allow through the server OS. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Edit: another question if I may please. This is something I’m sure a lot of people don’t ask. Anybody no what the average power usage a window server would be using?

Thanks for the fix on the Servers support ED. I still decided to update the servers and have two window servers coming this weekend to setup. But wanted to say a big thank you to you all for fixing this issue.

No you don’t. All you need to do is run each SRS server with its own Port. That would be all you need to do and it works like a charm.

Amen to that. Let’s hope it’s fixed.

Any fix to this. Kind of useless using this at night with this issue.

Again thanks for the reply but are you kidding me? As with myself and I'm sure many other people, use old computers to run a server. I have for years and now its not good as a result of this update? Can you please tell me what changed to make it all of a sudden useless.

As soon as I've updated the latest version 2.5.6.49314. Our servers are continuously crashing. Logs have been sent. In an attempt and to fix the continued problem. I've completely uninstalled DCS dedicated server and reinstalled it starting clean. After reinstalling the Servers are still crashing. crashlog indicates Anyone no what this is indicating? There is no indication of which files are duplicated. All servers are been started from DCS Updater GUI / Launcher Utility through each instance. If I roll back to the previous update then all works as it should. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Talking to Criribob. I found that the best thing was to completely uninstall SRS and reinstall. What I found was my server is strictly setup as a server and my issue was when updating SRS there was an option to install client scripts. If you using SRS install strictly as a server say “NO” to the client scripts as they are not needed. After doing that it was fixed. Also, make sure you have the latest install for DATIS. I was talking to Rkusa as well on some issues I found and he has been updating the DATIS. There is a Beta.3 out there that works like a charm. Sorry for the late reply

Lol. I did that before posting. :huh:There’s so many threads about this it’s and Varies in working for some and not working for most everyone else. Working on different aircraft and not for others. I mean JC!! When will it end. There’s posts back on this from 2010. :doh: I was hoping that someone would have solution but from what I see hell will freeze over before this is fixed. ED. Can you please tell me why when going through the reply of a track from a flight just flown is entirely different. Seems good for first five minutes then all hell breaks loose.

Major errors with DATIS. Never had this before with DATIS until I've updated to the LATEST SRS. With the latest SRS 1.8.0 and the latest DATIS 10 alpha I'm getting alot of errors. Anyone getting this :censored: issue. I also posted in the https://github.com/rkusa/DATIS on multiple error. Anyone see this when using? DATIS I'm not sure and can't see any issues on my end as I've just followed the instructions. Cheers

Winds generated 180 degrees off from Metar Hello. I posted this yesterday but deleted it because I wanted to confirm. The weather is being pulled from its source correctly and placed into the mission. However, I find on every case the winds are been generated 180 degrees off the actual forecasted wind. Example metar at KLSV was indicating conditions at 170/ 17 SKC 32 degrees and alimeter was 29.72. In the sim itself the conditions were 350/ 17 SKC 32 degrees 29.72. So everything things is been generated except the winds are always been generated 180 degrees off. Any ideas why? Cheers

Hi everyone. Anyone having issues with comm 1 and comm2 been switched up from 1.7.8.1. Huge issues now since I’ve installed the 1.8.0 beta. Using Voice attack it seems to that ptt that were setup correctly to read comm1 and comm2 are now opposite. Comm1 is now actually comm2 and visa versa. Also, since we have D-atis up on our servers no atis will broadcast. All ports are referenced correctly and pointing to the proper install. Cheers
