Is it realistic though? Sounds odd to me, but i'm curious. Also, according to wikipedia, the Refleks is 9M119M, used on the T-80, while 9M119 is the Svir used on the T-75. Sounds like the sim has the wrong designation. Or wikipedia is wrong, but that can't possibly be! :p

I'm fairly certain the manual states GCAS will be non-functional if the radar altimeter is turned off.

I did find the -1 for the A-10A here: http://www.scribd.com/doc/34087548/To-1A-10A1-A-10A-Flight-Manual But hoping to find both the -1 for the 10c if possible, as well as the TOs for the various avionics and other systems in the 10c if I can. On a side note, haven't they made these things digital yet? When I was in (2A157), I always felt the paper TOs were such a huge PITA. Those things weigh like 50 tons, especially when you're carrying like five of them out to the flight line.

Anyone know if its possible to access the TOs for this aircraft online somewhere?

Thanks everyone for the replies. I wish the interactive training covered more ground, because its so good, but I accept there is a lot of learning to do on my own. I think I have a better feel for the systems involved in my original post now, and hope to put them to some more practice soon. I'm spending time with circuit training right now. Thanks again!

I've gone through all the training missions. I've learned to takeoff, fly, and land the aircraft, and use most all of its weapon systems. Yet whenever I fly a "real" mission I am totally lost. Unlike the training missions, there is no convenient waypoint that identifies targets. Instead I hear things being called out, which I guess is supposed to help me find them, but I can't. I end up just flying around forever doing nothing. How the heck do I locate and acquire my targets? Any videos that show the process? Thanks!
