DCS ver 2.05 Hi all Anyone else experiencing strange behaviour on the ground? In the "cold start" instant action mission after starting and trying to taxi the plane veers in the opposite direction even though the nosewheel is fully to the other side??:music_whistling:

I adjusted the pilot view in the C101 after the update to DCS 2.05...too low and too close to instruments. Heres how... pause trackir...orange light press keypad 5 to center set fov using keypad / and * ...usually back 3 or 4 clicks holding right control and right shift use keypad 2 or 8 to set height of eyeline .....3 up for me press right alt and keypad 0 to save new position unpause trackir...green to go Experiment for yourself:pilotfly::thumbup:

Have to politely disagree with you Skull about the Hawk. I wanted my money back the day I purchased but my how she has evolved. I am so glad I didnt pursue it.She is a beauty no doubt and wonderful to fly.Take her out of the hanger again Skull. To the thread in point.....I echo some of the sentiment mentioned above about the long development of the C101....sadness mainly. But to lose hope is pointless.Fingers crossed Aviodev will pull it out of the bag not so far in the future:pilotfly:

Just stumbled across a fix for me after about 3 months of trackIR freezes and disconnects. My light filtering was set too high...move the slider back a bit and everything is smooth again. I use the highest setting in brighter weather to filter out small extraneous light sources other than the clip or led to prevent stutter. But this was causing freezes and disconnects in the less bright overcast winter so much that sometimes when starting the trackIR software the reflected clip wasnt being detected by the camera. I assumed my ancient trackir3 was on the blink but not the case apparently.:thumbup:

Sweet fx...the dxgi.dll file in the bin folder causes it. Remove it temporarily for campaign.

Try deleting or renaming your c/user/saved games/dcs folder. The game will build a new one when it starts. I remember seeing the terrain initialisation error in my logfile after the recent update and my game wouldnt start. Doing the above fixed it for me.

As far as I remember I think its fixed in version 1.5...they probably overlooked it for 2.04. Im sure it will be fixed soon.

Search x52 version 6.2.2.0 The top listed driverscape has it to download. Make sure to scan it first.

Remembered a couple of years ago updating the saitek drivers and the x52pro started misbehaving.Reverted to an older 6.2.2 driver and it works fine.

Really appreciate all the work this module is getting and looking forward to more. A couple of small things I have observed. The crazing on the canopy glass is a little overdone imo.Its hard to see out at all when sunlight reflecting on every crack in certain light conditions.The warping plexiglass effect is a tad strong too and makes the canopy appear flexible which I hope it aint. Mine is 69.3GB...without 3 modules.Plus plenty of extra skins.

Try renaming your users/saved games/dcs folder and then start the game again. A new one will be created.This worked for me. I hadnt disabled TF51 module but was stuck while loading and couldnt enter the module manager either. Move your inputs back in.....easier than reinstalling.

Was about to do the same after updating release version to 1.55 and subsequently the game kept hanging...nothing would load and no connection to game server. Renamed the users/saved games/dcs folder and let the game create a new one. Voila...back in business. Just dropped back in my logbook and inputs and were all good again:pilotfly:

Looks like you need to buy more modules Coxy. The A10C and anything by Belsimtek are the best in game:thumbup:

In the mission editor place your helo on the map. Press payload and then press paintscheme. Different countries..different schemes.:pilotfly:

Post your in game settings first. It could be gfx card heat related. Make sure your gtx960 is not hovering around its max temperature. I have seen this issue or something like it on my system. Run a program that controls your fan speed..like evga precision for example and start it before you start DCS. Have your card fan running say at least 65% while in game...more if needed. Doing this got rid of my stutter. Not sure it will help but give it a try.

Wow...running in 4k with old 780gtx and getting much better frames than that...yikes!!

Hi all Just very recently made the jump to 4K dcs...wow...its the way to go for sure. I wasnt expecting great performance out of my gtx780 but I must say after only changing anti aliasing to off I was pleasantly surprised with the fps. 1080GTX FE on the way btw. Way more immersion in 4K for sure.

Another useful mod Devrim...a visual improvement. Thanks a bunch!
