A little tip for people struggling for fps with this mod. Load Mustangs sky mod on top of Starways northern europe.Mustangs mod seems to add haze and atmosphere. I cant see any difference except a few more fps and I have to say the mountains look beautiful and realistic at distance. With the Real weather mod we have certainly been spoilt the last few days. Confirmed fog issue fixed. A few observations so far...spring always loaded..not really an issue but interferes with terrain mods a bit. Still dont get weather from some airports..seems random. Crosswinds act funny...restarted the same mission with same weather to have my nose blown to the opposite side of the runway. But all in all a wonderful mod which adds beauty and realism to our game. ED should look at this seriously. Thanks a bunch

After trying it for a while there seems to be fog at every airport even though on local webcam views there is none. Poor ground visibility which is not accurate could be a limitation of weather engine?

Worked first time for me...downloaded the metar data and loaded it. First flight out of Sukhumi....a pea souper at ground level. Very nice addon which should probably be included in main program features. Well done and thanks

Hello ..saw this issue a few months ago myself exactly as you describe. And I dont have 2 gpu`s. I think its related to a vsync issue... a clean video driver install will fix this and delete game profiles too.

When you extract the texture from the dds file to bmp.....and remove the. bmp from the end of filename it works in temptextures.

Hello T.Jacob Using your old soviet style runway...excellent texture but I felt the color was a bit warm and brown on my system.It didnt blend too well with standard taxiways and aprons and was a bit hard to spot from distance.So I edited it and made it greyer and now it blends well with the rest of the airport textures and is easier to spot from distance. Yes that is correct...the textures show on some runways only. Using the old soviet style myself...very nice T.Jacob.:thumbup: Are you doing the aprons and taxiways to compliment??

Downloading now..thanks Starway. Is that your ground texture in DCS 2.0? Kudos. Beautiful terrain...Hormuz here we come! ps....After trying it out for a while...incredibly different look to DCS world with this mod.Should keep the desert boys happy till Hormuz. But I think this mod is a bit ambitious unless you have some serious fps horsepower under the hood...might need tweaking Starway!!

The runway tarmac texture is the only one worth using as the rest dont overlay properly.

Pause Track IR....default zoom in and out should work then..set your zoom...unpause.
