Dear Sirs, Every single HUD video and documentation I have study (regardless of block), show that HUD AOA bracket and -2.5° dashed pitch line not correct in size, i.e.: - Top and bottom horizontal line of AOA bracket is too big, - The -2.5° dashed pitch line consists of six ticks (--- ---), not eight ones. Dear Sirs, Definitely, the current implementation of sidewinder ungage function is incomplete when HMCS is not used. One thing that I realised is that when the heat source is very strong (toward the sun) the uncage is possible and missile diamond goes randomly. I agree with Imacken, that is not the case when pointing missile diamond to the target aircraft and command uncage, i.e. the missile diamond doesn't follow the target aircraft (no radar lock-on). I agree with that. From beta manual: Pointing Cross. The pointing cross indicates the relative direction that the Maverick seeker is looking in reference to the longitudinal axis of the aircraft. The pointing cross will flash when the seeker is not tracking a target. Once locked though, it will go steady. From later manuals: Pointing Cross. Dear Sirs, My wish is to correct the DDI AGM-65F symbols in DCS F/A-18C: - Right size of the Pointing Cross. It is smaller that real one. - Right size of Depression Markers. It is bigger that real one. - To simulate effect that the pointing cross doesn't mask the Tracking Gate (as is DCS A-10C)?.
