Initially it was a big torrent file, from which clients downloaded only what they need. It turned out to have awful performance. A torrent is like a meeting point for the peers who needs the data. With one big torrent there's a lot of peers who do not meet each other expectations about having necessary pieces, and there's a lot of peer search i.e. waiting. However, there's still a room for optimization. I'll give it a try. Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for the report! This is a bug in the torrent library which is still unresolved. Apparently my safe-guard code gets fooled, will try to find a better way.

Как верно замечено, это совсем не user-friendly. Кроме того, бета отличается от релиза файлом dcs_variant.txt который ставит папку для записи в DCS.openbeta. И ещё запись пути в реестре у беты - DCS World OpenBeta. То есть, чтобы полностью сменить бету на релиз необходимо поменять все три вещи. Иначе можно получить гибрид, где билд будет идти из канала обновлений релиза, а записывать в папку опенбеты, и в реестре числиться как опенбета.
