VBS expecially VBS3 (which is nomore available to personal users to be purchased) is a simulator software for military training purpose and not a game for the public, you can't compare that software to a sim game for public entertainment purpose

Yes i totally agree, personally i'm not interested at all in Nevada map, i'm waiting for something WW2 since a lot of time ,for an example the original DCS WW2 project with its Normandy 44 map and its period ground units which seems to be fallen and hidden inside a coffin right now, except for the FW190 and the BF 109 (just 2 planes) and specifically i mean this one this seems to be a dead project or some kind of vaporware

I totally agree with you Mysticpuma, me and the community i'm in, are waiting for a long time for news about DCS WW2 Europe 1944, it looks like that this is just a tiny and a backdoor project, looking around the internet...... we even don't know if this is still in development, we can just finding infos on NTTR map and DCS World 2.0, but nothing about DCS WW2 Europe 1944, the last year i heard something speaking about Normandy map to be released in May 2015 and then SITREPS out, at least something reguarding AI ground units for the period 1944

Italy, and the provider is TIM, in Italy there's a huge digital divide, i'm forced to use a mobile broadband connection (volume limited to 10 Gb per month at 30€ per month) my friends provider is Fastweb which is good but NATed in the same way, so there's no possible solution i bet......

Me and my friends are NATed by our ISP (no router NAT), and we don't have a public IP address, some ISP in my country are NATed and for some users there's no possibility to change ISP, we tried Hamachi as we do with other games such as ArmA 2 and 3, Silent Hunter exc. (DCS is the only one that don't work and on create server it shows the 5.x.x.x ip range only) but in DCS it seems to don't work, how we can do to play and host games ? are there any solution ? does another VPN client works ? please i need a solution, tip or advice Thanks in advance

Yes arming and everything ain't a problem, safety switch, master arm and every other arming commands are well mapped on my stick, making a mission in the editor and starting from runway showed me this killing machine in action versus a bunch of unlucky P51 pilots, but setting in the editor strat from ramp it starts without mg ammo, i assume it's the beta state of my beloved ME 109

I prefeir talking about fully accurate historical skins than about the swastika itself, i'm just for realism and nothing else, and yes there are historical accurate skins for the DORA not user made (not in every country it's forbidden after about 1 century it is just considered history, at least in my country, it is.) If i ask to the ground crew the rearm, they appears to be at the 100%, but on machineguns still no ammo, they're just in the cannon.

when i put the BF 109 in the editor starting from ramp for a cold start, it has no machineguns ammo, just cannon ones, if i put it starting from runway it has machineguns ammo, is this an issue related to its beta state, or am i missing something ? In the DORA there were "those textures", are "those textures" available in the BF 109, if yes where are them ? thanks in advance rgrds Simon

+1 :thumbup: Expecially for those which cannot host a party due to ISP NAT3 that will be very widespreaded in the near future in some countries, and the needle of a VPN will become vital to host private matches

After many headakes, researches and ipotetical solutions, i've found the problem, my ISP has given me a private IP 10.190.x.x so i'm stuck LAN in this game (using Hamachi, tunngle, evolve) ain't working and sadly there's no solutions at all, also because in my country (the northern african banana's republic of Italy), all ISPs are going to NAT3 until the end of 2015 the whole national internet, btw thank you very much for your support

Thank you very much everybody for supporting and suggestions, but none of these are working, formatted my PC also, but the problem still persists, funny thing is: i went to Germany the 22nd of October and i came back to my country the 27th of october,i left my PC at home and nobody can use it, i live alone, and from that day at the 1st try for hosting a match the issue appeared, this is the reason why i have no clue, never had a problem of any sort before that day

Thank you very much for the answers, i've tried connecting using a modem so no port at all, tried all of your suggestions, nothing works, using the modem nothing, using the modem with everything disabled in my PC: firewall, AV, disabled windows defender by command line, DMZ ecc., tried Hamachi, if i turn on lan in the options i can see the server list and can't change the IP (Hamachi also is useless as a possible solution) but the problem stil persists for me and for my 2 friends, the funny thing is we can play together in other servers shown on the server list. Are there any ED specialist to which address this issue that is becoming more than annoying considering also me and my friends are supporting the series, we own all modules except MIG21

Hello everybody Until now i had no troubles at all with coop hosting, since monday if i try to host a coop match my friends can't find my server, if my friends (other 2 peoples) are try to host a match, the same issue happens, we can't find each other, no troubles before but just since last monday, we tried to open UDP and TCP from 10307 to 10309, we tried to delete the network config files in the folder under C:\Users\SIMON\Saved Games\DCS\Config path, we tried to switch on LAN using IP to connect without any result, we tried to manually change the IP in the network.cfg file in the path specified above checking for our actual dynamic IP but no clue. I have no apparent troubles connecting to masters server, we can connect to other servers without any sort of trouble please help we're getting crazy kind regards and thanks in advance

Thank you very much but i solved uninstalling everything and putting everything in the trash and deleting all reg keys, and pass on dcs world untill it is fixed properly, now i believe i stay for a while on a WW1 fly sim.... thank you very much BTW but i reknow to myself i have a very little patience

Really would you like to compare this to Steam and BS1 no need for activation and it is strictly related to my steam account, and no problems like to after installe dcs world 2.1.2 no bs2 activation refused by server and i can't still activate it and i'm very angry for this issue and after redownloaded 6 and more gigs considering my slow connection and connection volume to 10 gbs per mounth :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I can't believe in 2012 an annoying and odd activation system like this, this should be canged, because problems dectivation needed even if i just want to change my VGA, 'cmon we're in 2012 just find another way such as DRM or another method the one you want but change this 90's awful thing, i restarded after installing my brand new gtx680 and i spent another activation, because i forgot to deactivate, this is very annoying, can you please find another user friendly way...? this is the worst of DCS series Edit: there are tons of ways now to avoid piracy, i believe before to make another module, just find an alternative way for activation without activation/deactivation things, and maybe auto activation after buying a module without to insert a serial key, i repeat we're in 2012 if i want to change my hardware i want to be free to do it without to think to deactivate reactivate this boring thing.. such as other simulators/games I registered on the forums today just to ask for this, i play DCS from when it wasn't DCS from the times of the 1st LOMAC by ubi, because i'm very annoyed by this thing
