Donations are OK from our point of view. However they make no sence from ED's point of view. Modders don't participate financially in running DCS World mainteance, support, development etc. while they would make an income using ED's platform free of charge. IT IS NOT FAIR. It is exaclty the same situation as if you were an owner of the restaurant and you had people comming in with their own food, beverages etc. EDIT: I voted YES btw.

Please don't remove auto smoke popup. Or maybe make it an option to turn it off if anything. Also is there any reason you prefer not to spawn AI wrecks? Does it impact server performance? I am asking because I am always waiting for wrecks call when I am online, flying savehouses is OK, but maybe there could be another option- to have random Medical transport flight calls from FARPS to bigger hospitals. Maybe critically wounded soldiers need to be threated with more advanced medical equipment not avaliable at FARP, or maybe guys wounded in a fight that got extracted to FARP, and got their health status stabilised need to be transported to a bigger hospital for a long term recovery threatment? I am just trying to think of some way to randomise flights more. Even general Medevac missions occuring on friendly territory would do (soldiers stepping on mines, and what not- plenty of role play reasons for having wounded soldiers on friendly territory). You could spawn friendly convoys so they pop a smoke, Medevac helicopter lands next to them and extracts wounded soldiers. Just dropping some ideas :) As for wheels vs skids- US doesn't prefer skids over wheels. Huey is 60's design, and it was an easier/ lighter/ more rigid solution than to make a wheeled version. UH-60 has wheels, and so do most helicopters (in fact I cannot remember any other US army helicopter than ultra light Little Bird, Bell- 206 based Kiowa and Huey based Cobra not having wheels). EDIT: And actually I think skids did a better job on typical Vietnam surface that wheels would. Also I forgot about Bell 47, which is even older construction than Huey.

LOL I just send a PM asking EXACTLY the same question you do to original SimFFB author. I am using G940 and it has a small FFB deadzone, the only way to get rid of it after pressing Force Trim button is to use HAT to move centering position (beeping it left/right, forward/backward a bit). What a coincidence.

I still have no idea what this topic is about. Who is Skyjet International LLC and what does it have to do with Huey module? I know what BHTI is, I know Belsimtek had to make a licence deal with them.

I really don't undestand how to make it work, and I am usually pretty good with understanding mod instructions. Could you T.Jacob update the first post with working JSGME package, please? Your work looks amazing, I would love to use it! -
I am somewhat biased since I don't fly anything but helicopters in sims, so I don't have much to say about fixed wing, but when it comes to helicopters- I will buy a cool, well developed civilian helicopter module any day. Or you could sell military helicopter, and either make a civilian version, or sell an "expansion" for couple $ for those who already bought military "base" version of the module. I am pretty sure ie. people would buy a Bell 205 with high skid/ emergency floatation system/ gps/ civilian radio/ mirrors as options if Belsimtek continued developing their module. On top of that there is a huge gameplay possibilities for civilian helicopters missions in DCS- cargo transport/ sling loading, medical operations (SAR, general casuality transportation etc), fire fighting, fields cropping, the list goes on and on. Now with Starway's and Barthek's textures DCS starts to look REALLY nice, and I am sure people who are flying x-plane/ p3d/ fsx would be surprised how little ED has changed in the scenery graphic departament, and how community managed to make this sim look sweet despite having to work within such dated engine frame.

If enough people choose torrent and keep torrent client running after download is complete, everyone will be able to download with pretty much max bandwitch speed. Host sites are dependable on it's owner. Dropbox is really a bad example, because it is not meant to be a huge files host. It is more suited to send your friend a word file, that's it.

He probably means you can use two freq channels to switch between. Really cool feature, would be nice to have it, but army radios this module models did not have such feature. We could maybe get a second set of radios, or some new equipment (GPS ? :) ), but I don't think it will be done.

Mi-8 is easier to navigate than Huey, because you have a Doppler radar equipped :)

OK, so when we talk navigation, how about this: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=69880 ?

My vote goes for UH-60.
