[REPORTED]Labels don't stay with objects using 3Screen Monitor lua.
Dr Zaius replied to Snacko's topic in Object Bugs
Same here, the text is all stretched and goes completely crazy when zooming, and that's only with 2 monitors! -
Temporary Replacement for Mission 2
Dr Zaius replied to Bunyap's topic in AJS-37 Viggen 16-2 Red Flag Campaign
Took me (my flight lead) 2 attempts to make that turn before looking on the forums for a solution, thanks for the fix! -
Above and beyond Gos, many thanks for a great mod and the support that comes with!

Tried to Uninstall and ran a repair but it still does it.. Air brake lights change from 'AIR BK' to A F and warning indicator lights which are a little hard to see but the PITOT / ANEMO is a good example. https://ibb.co/cpVyj5 https://ibb.co/nrancQ https://ibb.co/kgx0xQ https://ibb.co/mOo7cQ

Love this mod but think the latest update has messed with the cockpit indicator lights, they revert back to French when lit!

Turn your exterior lights off, makes a hell of a difference on mine

Out of all the 4.5 (5th generation included) fast movers on display it was actually the Hornet that imo stole the show, not sure if it was the weather or if the Spanish pilot was given permission to fly a more 'dynamic' display but he nailed it - i was expecting a slighly less manauverable F16'ish type performance but the way the Hornet exploits high alpha is uniquely awesome - whilst watching the display all i could think about was DCS!

34'' Ultra Wide Monitors curved or not curved
Dr Zaius replied to Basco1's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I was fortunate enough to get an xmas bonus last year which was spent on a Acer X34, despite the outragous cost which is hard to justify (cost a £1k) i can safely say its the best bit of tech i've ever purchased, no regrets whatsoever - if you can strech that far and are in the market for a curved ultra wide monitor then i highly recommend you take a look at one! -
Me too, i thought it a win 10 issue, everything else works ok including using the mouse to operate switches inside the cockipt but For some reason the outside view using the mouse is buggy as hell - are you guys using trackir to move the external view around as well?

Landed the su33 last night on the carrier, first attempt I somehow managed a text book landing - keen to watch the replay and see what wire i caught i was treated to a complete miss of the deck and crash landing into the ocean - looked to be about 500 meters port side of the ship, either the replay repositioned me or the ship, whichever it was it didn't end well

Is one of the items listed within the latest change log but what does this mean exactly? I ask as I've an X52 and want to assign HOTAS controls for the Huey & Mi8, is there a default file to load? If so what's its the location? I did delete the controller configs for each aircraft in the hope that this joystick profile would apply itself automatically but no. Any help would be apprecaited.

Here’s an idea that might help with the learning curves when AFM’s are applied to legacy FC3 aircraft, why not change the flight model under ‘Game Mode’ so it’s the old FM that’s being overwritten by the AFM? I know that might limit your target audience a little but I seriously wonder how many people play using the ‘Game Setting’ as is?

Updated to 1.2.8 last night and the throttle on my F-15 (x52) is doing the same thing as you guys, not sure if it did the same in the hog but that doesn't have reheat it never bothered me - can anyone post a fix pls?
-
Just a flight model thats a little easier to control i guess, I thought 'game' mode would feel the same'ish for each aircraft; at least in certain flight conditions like hovering.
-
Learning to fly choppers is hard work and i find the game flight mode mode a good way to learn the avionics and employ weapons without having to worry too much about flying/crashing. The game flight mode seems nice and easy for both the mi-8 and ka-50 but the uh-1 still feels too much like a simulation with constant rudder inputs and no hands free hovering, the complete opposite to the other 2. Is this by design / likely to change one day?

cbu-97 falling way short & weird green gaphics

Height of function - it's set using the MFD but the A10-A hasn't got one of those! -

Really, on the A10-A? -
cbu-97 falling way short & weird green gaphics
Dr Zaius replied to Dr Zaius's topic in General Questions
Started at about angels 8 and worked my way down, weird thing is that the the other 2 CBU's seem completely fine, just the 97's! There's no HOF to mess around with is there? And yes, there's a major frame rate when stuff starts blowing up - mostly green but thats a known bug (thank you Silver Dragon), saying that I've only started playing FC3 so haven't got a prior version to compare, just from what I've seen in A10-C -
Title says it all really, I did do a search for the CBU-97's falling short and this looks to have been a problem in the past but I think it was fixed - I created a FC3 mission last night with my A10-A armed with a mix of 4 X CBU-87's - 4 X CBU97's & 6 MK20's - all ordinance was fairly accurate apart for the 97's which fall way short (tried both bombing modes) - I also noticed that the weapon view key no longer work once the cannister has opened, I'm sure you used to be able to follow the bomblets down to their targets? I've also got a weird graphic anomaly with explosions, the initial flames and smoke are sometimes this weird green graphical effect which I need to take a screenshot of. I’ve a Gigabyte GTX770 Nvidia card that’s using the latest drivers - sorry if I’m being a little vague with the exact spec / driver details I just trying to see if anyone else was having the same problems?
-
Didn't the North American A-5 Vigilante use the same delivery technique when employing nukes? Had some sort of crazy bomb tube in between the engines if I remember correctly which aided plane/munition separation at supersonic speeds - that and the forward momentum helped the A-5 bug out before the really big bang going off!

I wanna to be left alone with the skeets :music_whistling: Suggest showing some footage of CBU's going to work in Nevada, that'll really get this forum going crazy!
