  2. I have been experiencing what I think is a bug with MP missions lately whereby after accessing the radio menu, the menu appears as usual but the F keys used to select a menu item no longer respond. Others in my flight are reporting the same problem. It usually starts happening mid mission and is not an isolated issue with any one mission in particular. Is this a known issue? Anyone else seeing this? As an afterthought it may be related to slmod and the F10 (other) commands available in some missions.
  3. You will need to be more specific regarding exactly what mods you are referring to. Missions usually go in Start/User name/Saved Games/DCS/Missions folder
  4. I couldn't resist the KA-50 at that price.
  5. If you are convinced that it was the latest update that is causing the problem then you should be able to test your theory by reverting back to a previous version to see if is is stable. Click HERE for instructions.
  6. Click HERE for a possible solution.
  7. I don't do that very well either.
  8. Sometimes a DCS World repair will solve these issues.
  9. It is precisely because of these unknown variables that I have refused to agonize myself with this task, and probably never will.
  10. A re-boot can indeed do wonders sometimes!
  11. Considering you have multiple issues I would first go to Start/All Programs/Eagle Dynamics/DCS World Repair to make sure all of your files are correct. Then re-name your DCS file in the saved games folder to DCS1. Fly a mission to re-build a completely new DCS folder in your saved games folder. If that fixes things then GREAT....if not you can always re-name the DCS1 folder back to just DCS to return things back the way they were.
  12. The easiest way to reset your views is by deleting the VIEW folder in your Saved Games/DCS/Config folder. A new one will be built when you fly the next mission. Or, if your proper view returns by hitting the F1 key, follow that with RALT+NUMPAD 0 to save it.
  13. If I understand your post you are trying to rely on your Saitek profile rather than the pre-sets created by DCS. Assuming you have activated the Saitek profile and still have no joy there may be some residual components remaining from the other stick leading to a driver conflict confusing DCS. Try clicking HERE for instructions for purging old files and see if you think this may help.
  14. If it is a zip file you must unzip it first. The only files that will be visible are miz files.
  15. I have had this happen in other MP missions as well so I don't think it's unique to this mission but rather a possible bug that came with one of the recent updates.
  16. Thanks for the info. I'll try it unchecked for a while and see what happens.
  17. I had a temporary outage yesterday but it's been fine today.
  18. You may want to try deleting the view folder in the saved games/DCS/config folder. It will build a new one that may work as before.
  19. Here are 2 pics. One DCS clouds and the other real clouds. I don't see much difference. I see pillow like clouds on many days around the hacienda.
  20. Considering this from the manual: DISABLE AERO INTERFACE. This option turns off the Windows Aero Interface, and this may provide a performance increase for some PCs. I have mine checked but have no problems like the OP. Can you explain just how this feature affects DCS World?

  22. Joyride, It looks like OP TR is malfunctioning as well. Ran it tonight and after all targets were destroyed at the summit there was no further tasking. I'm not asking you to take the time to troubleshoot the issue, just letting you know. It looks like the latest update borked numerous missions. :ranting:
  23. In order to arm a weapon with the saved profile it must be selected using OSB14 followed by OSB1 to select it from the list.
