For those that may have tried to register with the Ragtag Air Corps forum and received the message that new registrations were not being accepted at this time, that has been corrected so please try again. In my lack of knowledge of the admin settings I accidentally disabled this feature.

It is recommended that with the TeamSpeak window open, click on Settings/Options/Hotkeys and select "Keyboard and Mouse Only" in the drop down menu located lower right corner. This eliminates conflicts with some controllers that can result in erratic behavior.

Greetings fellow flight sim junkies, I remain confused about why there are so few A-10C/KA-50 pilots that get involved in multiplayer missions using Teamspeak. My website has recieved over 50 hits in the past 30 days from people all over the frickin' world and yet only about 1% ever even try to join a mission. One theory I have is that the majority of these curious folks have the fear that they are just not good enough or not quite ready yet to measure up to some imaginary standard that they have conjured up in their minds. The truth is that this imaginary standard that they feel must be met is just that....IMAGINARY. If this theory is correct then I would like to encourage those folks to stop imagining things and just DO IT! Just jump in and try it sometime. After all...what's the worst that can happen? I think the MP version will also work in SP mode. Just put it in your Saved Games/DCS/Missions folder and try it. It will show in MY MISSIONS in DCS World.

All mission files consist of one file only. Sometimes you may download a mission in a zip file that contains more than one version of the same mission or perhaps several missions as parts of a campaign but there is only one miz file for each mission that contains everything.

The appearance of the miz file should look like the one I attached to the previous post. If you have mission files that look like that just right click and rename with the .miz extension and it should work. Try it and pop it into your mission folder and see if it shows up in the DCS mission menu. if it does then you are good to go.

Here is the miz file. Put it in your saved games/DCS/Missions folder. You can access it in your DCS program by looking at My Missions in the mission menu.

Open your Teamspeak window and click on Connections. Then click on connect. type speakdls2.teamspeak.net:20589 into the server address window then type your nickname and press connect.

If it were me I would try uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers next. If you do be sure to unplug the stick before you reinstall.

There are a couple of things you might try that won't cause any harm. Go to your saved games/DCS/Config/Input/A-10 folder and delete the joystick folder. Then fly any mission and a new one will be created. If that doesn't help you can also try a DCS repair from the Start/All Programs/Eagle Dynamics menu. Sometimes that works to solve some issues.

The satellite image looks just as flat to me. That's just the way it is in Vegas.

If I understand the question, the only way to operate a MP server is by setting it up and hosting it within the DCS World master server.

I only enjoy small groups of experienced A-10C and KA-50 jocks that are willing to get on Teamspeak to fly some of the specialty missions available for that purpose. Click my sig if you are interested.
