  1. Click HERE Download and install per instructions. Look in the manual for how to set up auto pause. It will pause the mission when there are no clients and un-pause it when someone enters.
  2. Most of the cockpit buttons have keystrokes assigned to them that can also be assigned to the X52 using the Saitek Software. If a cockpit button has no keystroke assigned by default you can manually assign one and then assign a button on your X52 to operate it. It takes time to create a profile but it's worth it in the end.
  3. I use the X52 Pro and considering it has 3 modes plus a forth using the pinky switch, I have nearly all of the things that I used to use a mouse for programmed to the stick. Of course this requires creating a Saitek profile to use instead of just the DCS World options. As far as the mouse stick is concerned, just like any mouse you can slow the speed down using the Windows control panel. I have found that using a trackball is much better than a mouse for all applications, but especially the cockpit.
  4. Absolutely! I use a 27" Viewsonic with a GTX650ti 2GB and it works great.
  5. One in every crowd.
  6. I have seen two RWR Warning guides that have conflicting info concerning weapons max range and max altitude data. Can anyone post a link to the most reliable RWR guide that gives accurate data for the weapon threats that are modeled in DCS World?
  7. Would there be any way to remove the rail over road bridges from the map and if so would that be a temporary fix for the problem? I wonder what would happen if you bombed the bridge prior to the arrival of the oncoming vehicle? Galevsky why don't you try that on your test mission to see what happens and post your results.
  8. This is exactly what happened in a thread that I posted HERE along with Ranger79's conclusion. The school bus was last seen sitting on top of a RR bridge and that borked the mission.
  9. OK, thanks. Another one bites the dust.:ranting:
  10. I have attached a MP mission that is in need of repair. Everything works fine until the very end. There are 2 yellow buses that will either take the insurgent leader to an airfield to escape via helo, or to Batumi harbor where he escapes on a ship. The problem is when the yellow bus is on the way to Batumi harbor, instead of going all the way, it just stops half way there and that ends the mission. Can anyone see a simple reason why this is happening? I think this glitch began with 1.2.7. Thanks
  11. My gut tells me it's a lag issue causing a delay in the time it takes for the input data to reach the server and return to the client with a proper response. I suppose the higher the ping to the server causes the greater potential for this type of glitch.
  12. Apparently I'm not the only one that doesn't have a clue :music_whistling:
  13. Have you tried it using windowed mode?
  14. If it happens on just that server be sure that the server has the option "use these settings in all missions" unchecked in the DCS Options Gameplay section. It may be something on the server's computer that is being forced on the clients if this option is checked. Just a guess though.
  15. Fly above 11,000 feet to avoid their reach. See attached file.
  16. Thanks for the link but that didn't tell me much. Can you give me an example of how this would be implemented in an A-10C during a mission?
  17. Can anyone tell me what "COCKPIT VISUAL RECON MODE" is in detail?
  18. I read, Then last year I heard about DCS and now have the A-10C Warthog, and offered an invitation for a future time when you may have learned to fly it.
  19. Click my sig for something to keep in mind if you decide to learn the A-10C. It's just a casual group of MP players from multiple countries.
  20. There is a password created by the server that allows the remote user to log in regardless of whether or not there is someone at the server end provided that the server is up and connected to the internet. I do it numerous time each day. Be sure the server has windowed mode selected in the DCS options.
  21. I have stated this before and I'll state it again, high quality missions are the life blood of the MP community and as we continue to lose them due to the changes that come within the ME that cause them to malfunction, we not only lose a valuable asset, we risk the loss of the even more valuable people that create them. I flew one of my favorite missions yesterday with a group of 6 players and after over 2 hours in the heat of battle we realized that the mission could not be completed due to a glitch with the last remaining component. So instead of everyone experiencing the thrill of victory, we left in frustration. I can only hope that one day soon we will finally see stability with the ME before we are left with what few crumbs remain.
  22. So much of this comes easier when you fly with the same people on a regular basis. If you are using the same group id number it is easy to see where everyone is as a blue symbol on your TAD screen as well. I recommend using the EXP1 mode for better situational awareness.
  23. yes, but it sounded like a computer generated voice rather than a real human.
  24. Sounds like a plan shaping up here. I would pay to have an authentic female voice for ATC. I think it would soothe my nerves before one of those demanding combat missions. You copy this Ranger?
  25. I just looked at the number of files that would need conversion for just the pilot and all I can say is someone would have to have an extremely strong desire for a new voice to be willing to re-do all of those  or.....a good marketing plan to offer the mod for sale. Hmmmmm, now that's a thought.
