I won't make liveries without the historical correct symbols. Should we ban the cross as well because I think the crusaders were offending? Governments can say and put up laws all they want but this doesn't mean every man can think for himself. What is offending for one doesn't mean it's offending for thousands of others. Context plays a very big role here. We play a simulation and we try to simulate an authentic world with airplanes of all sorts and nations, time frames etc. With includes planes from the luftwaffe. In the end I just think people should think for themselves and decide whether they want a livery or not. No harm done. But I think any form of government censorship is bad. ED decided to hold a contest for liveries without the swastika. I respect their choice but I disagree.

O forgot to mention earlier. Really nice work on the presentation as well Starway! Beautiful video and music fits well. Can't wait to fly the scenery. Well done sir

For those that have some doubt about this : 1 : You have your reasons and simply dont wanna buy its fine and its your choice to do so. 2 : ED is focused on many other projects that have priority and a fellow community member gets the chance to do something really nice for the sim. It gets ED approved and looks amazing. I dont see the problem here. I would rather pay for this huge approvement then ED stops working on the Hornet or whatever project needs to be paused to create this.

The last update about the MiG-29 external model is from januari. I would love to know when we can expect the new 3d model being introduced to the game? The PFM comes after the Su-33 still? Some news about the Fulcrum would be nice :) Thank you :)

A-6 Intruder OVER the A-7 Corsair II any time all the time. Intruder is a lifetime dream and instabuy. The Corsair is just a meh plane... My fav list on the deck : 1. F-14 Tomcat 2. A-6 Intruder 3. F-4 Phantom II 4. A-4 Skyhawk 5. Helo's 6. Deckcrew and somewhere at number 99 or beyond the A-7 Corsair II

I was watching this earlier this evening but i dont understand why the pilot didnt eject. As far as i can understand the guy telling the story was the pilot but doesnt the Viggen have a 0 0 ejection seat?

Civilian traffic = cars, busses and trains

I noticed that Civilian traffic to off doesnt do a thing. See picture : Also i wonder what makes it so that when i fly alone i have 0 problems at all and as soon as other aircraft are involved all hell breaks lose... Are the aircraft and scripts that are being used to make the red flag campaigns so hardware intensive ? I cant get my mind to understand how a few aircraft and scripts bring so much stuttering along. Are the scripts causing alot of errors underneath where the code is hard at work to just jump over and continue on? Because if that is the case i can imagine the sim having a hard time. Alot of extra resources needed just to evade and keep going while being hammered by errors is like a toddler clinging on your leg while trying to move as fast as possible.

The Red flag campaigns act like stuttermachines on my computer. Even so much that i just have given up for now... Im running DCS on a 3770K Oc'ed 4.8Ghz watercooled, 980Ti, 16gb Ram, 2560x1440 resolution. My OS is on an SSD and DCS is installed on 2 spinpoint harddrives in raid 0 config. The point is flying solo i have 0 troubles or stutters or whatever. As soon as airtraffic is inserted in mass like in the red flag campaigns the stuttering and lagging begins. My wife was so kind to buy me a Samsung 850Evo 500Gb SSD. This will probably arrive somewhere on wednesday. Then i will reinstall DCS on the SSD and see if this makes a difference. Im also gonna do a little test in the editor with waypoints and without waypoints. Because i have a strong feeling the scripts that are being used for the campaigns are causing alot of trouble.

Still no keys distributed?

I thought this would be fixed with EDGE. Maybe im wrong but i see no reason why the enemy should still be able to see through trees with the latest engine :huh:
