What helped me alot is setting : CIV traffic to OFF Display res 512 I was having huge FPS dips when i had Display res on 1024 and civ traffic on. Especially in the Blackshark when using the display and shooting the Vikhr missiles. After setting both options to the above settings no more stutterings. I havent changed anything in my nvidiacontrol settings. Only thing that bothers me is that hotfix 3 seem to bring fps down in areas where hotfix 2 didnt have these issues at all. Also SLI is still not working like it should.

[REPORTED]Stutter/Frame Drops when moving Camera
Mainstay replied to Verdi's topic in Game Performance Bugs
Framerate is really bad for me. Hotfix 3 is more unstable then Hotfox 2. On a sidenote whats even more bothering me right now is if SLI will be properly used by the new rendering engine. Because at the moment SLI does not work like it should. -
Thanks for the info. Dont have Max installed anymore so good to know what the changes are.

A previewer in the editor for SP and seperate window before going live on MP.

Glad to be of service

Thank you for hotfix 3 ED  SLI is still not working for me  Is this something that is being looked into because it would be a shame if i couldnt use my second videocard to benefit more graphical power.

Ok i know what the problem is. ED has changed the 3DS MAX MATERIALNAME in the lua files for DCS World 1.5 Beta. I think this has to do with the fact a new external model of the MiG-29 is underway. Example of new lua code looks like this : Livery = { {"MIG29-OKRAS-L", 0, "mig-29-paint-def-9-l.bmp", true}, {"MIG29-OKRAS-R", 0, "mig-29-paint-def-9-r.bmp", true}, } name = "`swifts` team #44 kubinka ab" countries = { "RUS", } The parts that i made thick purple are new. So i tested an old livery called Splinter Green Grey where the original lua looks like this. Livery = { {"texture MIG-29-PAINT-DEF-1-L.BMP f2 g0",0,"MIG-29-PAINT-SM-L1",false}; {"texture MIG-29-PAINT-DEF-1-R.BMP f2 g0",0,"MIG-29-PAINT-SM-R1",false}; {"texture MIG-29-PAINT-DEF-1-L.BMP f0 g0",0,"MIG-29-PAINT-SM-L1",false}; {"texture MIG-29-PAINT-DEF-1-R.BMP f2050 g0",0,"MIG-29-PAINT-SM-R1",false}; {"texture ru-pilons.bmp f2 g0",0,"mig-29-pilons_huaf.dds",false}; {"texture rus-pilot-2.bmp f2 g0",0,"mig-29-pilot_huaf.dds",false}; {"texture rus-helmet.bmp f2 g0",0,"mig-29-helmet_huaf.dds",false}; } name = "Splinter green-grey" countries = {"RUS"} After editing to show up ingame it looks like this : Livery = { {"MIG29-OKRAS-L",0,"MIG-29-PAINT-SM-L1",false}; {"MIG29-OKRAS-R",0,"MIG-29-PAINT-SM-R1",false}; } name = "Splinter green-grey" countries = {"RUS"} I dont know the new 3DS MAX MATERIALNAMES for the pilot/helmet and pilon textures so i simply removed them. Maybe someone from ED can tell how that part of the lua should look like.

Thrustmaster Warthog 5-Pin DIN Connector
Mainstay posted a topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Hi everyone, Im making this post so that it could help people that have broken wires. After regreasing up my Warthog yesterday my wires broke loose on the 5-Pin DIN connector. Was already afraid this would happen since my the first time i opened up my warthog and could see i already had one damaged wire and the wires connected to the DIN connector were hanging very thin. Example picture of the DIN connector. Picture is made by a fellow simmer and is not mine. Shame AGAIN  on Thrustmaster for the extreme low quality gone in the soldering work etc for such an expensive piece of hardware. Anyways after this i had to go to work and was looking for a wiring diagram because multiple wires broke loose. Couldnt find any pictures on the net except for a written description on the SimHQ forum by a guy that goes by the name Teej from the Virtual Thunderbirds. Thanks Teej for your description of the wiring helped me repair my DIN and wires  So i decided to make a picture with a descrition where goes what : Pay attention if you need to solder the wires that there are 2 black wires. One thin black wire and one thick black wire. Hope it helps :joystick:- 1 reply

LUA structure for the MiG-29 has changed see this post http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=2529363#post2529363

Sounds like a corrupt installation to me. Always make a backup of the things you move/delete/replace etc etc. I think you deleted an essential element for the MiG29 to show proper. If the above is the case then go to your eagle dynamics folder in the start menu and choose repair DCS world beta. If the above isnt the case then show an example of the description file you have edited.

Not on all planes and i dunno why...

You cant. The only adjustable part of the engine is the exhaust pipe.

For anyone that downloaded the updated version 1.1 before you read this post you will have to download it again. Had to reupload it once more since i forgot to activate some layers. Really sorry for the inconvience :(

Version 1.1 uploaded see first post

Alright Cheers and very nice work :)

Very nice Livery !!! The other 3 are not my taste but i really like this one. Some small details that need adjustment and she would be perfect. The spacers between the fuselage and the engine intakes are light blue. The bottom 2 should be dark blue and the top one white. On the bottom side there some weird light blue dots coming out the small pipes.

Is there any progress or info from Eagle Dynamics side about the current SLI situation?

Ok i miss only one module in my DCS World library and thats the upcoming M-2000. Now the product page displays the follwing ; M-2000C for DCS World will sell for $59.99 in December 2015. Pre-purchase now for $47.99 and save 20%! $12 bonus For example i have something like $51 in my bonus account but i cant use it to buy the M-2000 at this moment. Somehow that doesnt feel right. It would be nice if the system could be redone so that no matter what people could spend the bonus. What i personaly would like to see in the example of the M-2000 is that i could choose NOT to receive the $12 bonus but instead SPEND bonus that i have already build.

Glad you like it

Chance is very little at the moment since work is killing me. Sorry man :(

Great your all liking it. Yes you are right George I'm gonna update it for the ZA version. I'll see if I have some free time coming week to work on making the pitot tubes and some decals a bit better.
