  1. at last 2.5.3 release version, :thumbup: most bug solved and left over with navigation light not light up the surrounding, need to attach the navigation light at lua code just like the others Su-33, Su-27.... landing gear light not align properly, need to adjust the 3D model for the landing gear light, at Taxi setting should be one bulb light up, but it show two bulb light ray on the ground. adjustment at 3D model for the landing gear light, at Take off/ Landing setting should be two bulb light up, correction for the light ray focus angle.
  2. i also noticed the moonlight work pretty good as the sunlight, ED need to use shader editor to attached the spot light, omni light, collision light after burner light, that they forgot. only the game developer can access it,

I got the clue, here "Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Bazar\shaders\deferred" shadingCockpit.hlsl , they forgot to add those Spot lights, omni lights, they need to program it to allow the cockpit recognize the navigation light, landing light, collision light and block it to render properly as the sunlight shadingFoliage.hlsl they also forgot to add those Spot lights, omni lights, + afterburner light, they need to program it to allow the vehicle object to recognize the navigation light, landing light, collision light and afterburner light to block it to render properly as the sunlight, the chassis also did not block those light + some afterburner look x-rayed too. those hlsl files cannot be edit, it will cause DCS world to freeze at blank screen. :doh: need to restore the file from backup to proper run the DCS World.
  4. so, its only the light from the Sun did not work like X-ray, need to search for the source code that programmed the navigation light, landing gear light, adjust it to match the source code for the sun? anyone know which files that work for the navigation light, collision light, landing gear light? and Sun light?
  5. I just tested it at night, checked the landing gear light do work like X-ray. :doh: the navigation light also work in X-ray that goes 360 degree pierce all metal solid. incompatible of texture layer vs those light layer..
  6. I tried and tested with one at front, the navigation light did not pierce the front cockpit. fix should be in 3D model, just add a layer of solid texture non transparent at side and behind the cockpit. wrap the cockpit with extra layer of non transparent solid texture.
  7. I got clue on how to fix that annoying anti-collision light for Ka-50 and others modules that may affected well. :D I think that should not be texture problem or rendering engine. The problem could be in the 3D model, ED need to adjust the 3D light emitting source in the 3D model. fix it with adjust the light emitting source 's size and align it 's position to outside the vehicle ' chassis, tune the light cone correctly, + add additional layer at the back of the cockpit to block it. that kind of problem cannot be fix by player, only developer can access it. :doh: :book: please fix it and release it on next update.... from my last test, I noticed the AI did not switch on any light on the Ka-50? please get everything back to normal. this is very unfair for user customer that had purchased the module and figure the way to fix it, ED staffs got paid, they should fix it. food is not free, electricity, internet access, whole things was not free.... someone willing to donate me?
  8. yes, conformed the landing wheel touch down sound was gone/missing/corrupted, even after I edit "Distant_Jet_Side.sdef" to use other sound. (change Distant_Jet_Side to other sound sample in the sdef) yes, the parachute pooping out sound in cockpit was missing too. :doh: you can try to edit "Distant_Jet_Side.sdef", change the change the sound name from "Distant_Jet_Side" to other sound name like "PlaneAfterburner", the sound will keep playback with the Su-25s and A-10s following the engine 's RPM/engine 's sound. when engine sound go loud, it go loud too.
  9. the "frontengine2" sound like high velocity airflow through the Turbine intake, it should be only play at high speed like 200km/h+ to 400km/h, I suggest to mute the "frontengine2" sound when the aircraft was on the ground and low speed in the air.
  10. found new sound bug in version 2.5.3.23225 after updated to release version 2.5.3.23225, the old sound bug of Su-25s and A-10s was remain bugged, newly noticed sound bug was the F/A-18C 's "F404GE_Back" and "Distant_Around" was swapped, the current "F404GE_Back" was function as "Distant_Around", and "Distant_Around" was function as "F404GE_Back", :bash: :doh:
  11. you try to edit the "Distant_Jet_Side.sdef" in sdef folder, set it to gain = 0.0 , then you try to land the Su-25 and check for any Landing Gear wheel Contact Sound. I am busy, not yet try it. :book:
  12. :helpsmilie: :book: :doh: lets fix the Frogfoot and Warthog 's sound, get it to use proper assigned sound, "Su25frontengine" , "Su25aroundengine" and "Su25backengine" attach to Su-25s, while the A-10s use the "TF34GE100" sounds set. :helpsmilie: remove other unrelated sound attachment for those A-10s and Su-25s. sound upgrade as well: add engine Fuel cut / turbine shut down sound for J-11A, Ka-50, Su-25s, Su-27, Su-30, Su-33, F-15s, F-16s, F-14s, F-4s, F-5s, Mig-25s, Mig-31s, Su-24s, Mi-24s, Mi-28s, UH-1s, UH-60s, AH-1s, AH-64s,... add front engine sound, back engine sound for Ka-50, get it to Mi-8 sound standard, where the Mi-8 use different sound format "EngineTV3117". Add "Su25frontengine2" sound for all Su-25s,
  13. just conformed another sound bug, :doh: All the Su-25s and A-10s, was attached to "Distant_Jet_Side" sound without any sdef files to control it, so, another weird sound that attached to both Su-25 and A-10 which cannot be adjust, (sdef unavailable), remove the hooked "Distant_Jet_Side" sound bug, :helpsmilie: need ED help to add "frontengine2" sound for the A-10 and Su-25 with sdef to allow proper sound adjustment.

  16. further detail adjustment need to do: add engine Fuel cut / turbine shut down sound for J-11A, Ka-50, Su-25s, Su-27, Su-30, Su-33, F-15s, F-16s, F-14s, F-4s, F-5s, Mig-25s, Mig-31s, Su-24s, Mi-24s, Mi-28s, UH-1s, UH-60s, AH-1s, AH-64s,... add front engine sound, back engine sound for Ka-50, get it to Mi-8 sound standard, where the Mi-8 use different sound format "EngineTV3117". Add "Su25frontengine2" sound for all Su-25s, :book: the sound is very near to real now, just need help from ED to add additional sound. :helpsmilie: :pilotfly:
  17. yes, for dedicated and it's better to keep the old MiG-29G cockpit as well, it's good for East Germany. now, how can MiG-29G can arm with R-27ER and R-27ET? is that was bug? :D
  18. allow player to fly as Wingman with AI as flight leader :lol: :thumbup: and let the AI flight leader to command the player :D add new radio system to reply the flight leader, for flight leader to reply others too.
  19. don't forget the Su-25TM, so all was Su-25A, Su-25T and Su-25TM. for very long time Su-25TM is still not flyable, interesting to see how was Kopyo pod work.
  20. :book: The current MiG-29G 's cockpit was within East Germany Air Forces of the National People's Army, I suggest to add two more nation of pre-unification of Germany, the West Germany and East Germany. use East Germany 's MiG-29G skin as default, because the NATO 's MiG-29G use different cockpit with TACAN system. the Late JG-73 skin was not very realistic for the current MiG-29G, it's for updated late MiG-29G with late cockpit. :doh:
  21. :thumbup: All MiG-29s got the Turbine engine fuel cut sequence sound now, great work. overall sound was improved, with F/A-18C lot 20 and all MiG-29s. Still need to add engine Fuel cut / turbine shut down sound for J-11A, Ka-50, Su-25s, Su-27, Su-30, Su-33, F-15s, F-16s, F-14s, F-4s, F-5s, Mig-25s, Mig-31s, Su-24s, Mi-24s, Mi-28s, UH-1s, UH-60s, AH-1s, AH-64s,... when will it be done? just a bit of tweaking and adjust. still not yet add front engine sound, back engine sound for Ka-50, get it to Mi-8 sound standard, where it use different sound format "EngineTV3117".   22. Glad ED just bring back the bundle pack of F/A-18C + Persian Gulf map, I got it now. F-14 was on preorder too, I am not but it for now, maybe later when released with other bundle
  23. I am currently owned A-10C, Ka-50, Flaming Cliffs 3 and Combined Arms module. I want to buy that F/A-18C +Persian Gulf Map but it was only in steam, cannot found it on DCS World website. the steam key will compatible to non-steam DCS World? I just noticed the sound bug in current DCS World 2.5.3.22176 version , the A-10A, A-10C, Su-25A, Su-25T and Su-25TM currently using F/A-18C 's "Distant_Around.sdef" instead of using "Su25AroundEngine.sdef" for Su-25s and "EngineTF34GE100Core.sdef" for A-10s (If not mistake for A-10s) so, the problem of un-adjustable loud booming sound for Su-25s and A-10s. Next recommended sound upgrade suggestion: Add engine Fuel cut / turbine shut down sound for J-11A, Ka-50, Su-25s, Su-27, Su-30, Su-33, Mig-29s, F-15s, F-16s, F-14s, F-4s, F-5s, Mig-25s, Mig-31s, Su-24s, Mi-24s, Mi-28s, UH-1s, UH-60s, AH-1s, AH-64s,... the sound similar to F/A-18C "F404GE_Shutdown" sound, where the gas turbine 's Fuel flow was cut off, combustion was put out and only high pressure gas depressurize sound was heard. this sound should be triggered at gas turbine ignition was set to off position at anywhere. add front engine sound, back engine sound for Ka-50, get it to Mi-8 sound standard, where it use different sound format "EngineTV3117".
