  1. some more bugs, let's fix it for this week release update....
  2. it's good to have click-able cockpit for current free Su-25T, to introduce full simulation for all the Free player. I suggest to add Su-25TM as flyable, to experience the Kopyo radar pod. give Su-25TM as free module or low cost module for newbies to experience the radar system. since A-10C was full click able, it's good to get A-10A for click able, + Su-25A if Su-25T did it.

  6. the naming of the module was inverted, I suggest the current FC3 module should call MAC module, since the original LO:MAC came with all the current FC3 aircrafts. DCS World was environment map and game engine, the new MAC module with German MiG-29G missing, the Su-25T supposed to be free. The rest of other planes was from cold war period. suggestion to rename all those modules, current Flaming Cliff 3 to Modern air combat module, Free Su-25T to Flaming Cliff module, current new Modern air combat to Cold War module ! replace the Su-25T with the Missing MiG-29G, the number of aircrafts will be the same at 14x, F-86, MiG-15, MiG-21, F-5, L-39 those was cold war plane, the module should call Cold War. I suggest to add US Navy pack (Av-8b, F/A-18C, F-14A/A+, F-14B, F-4?, Free A-4?, SH-60?)
  7. some more bugs AI Ka-50, Su-25T Su-25TM all bug with vikhr/vikhrM cannot attack air target. AI AJS-37 cannot use RB-05A to attack air target too. more edm json files missing.
  8. overall for current release version 2.5.2.20143, a positive improvement, sound engine and structure fixed to use those sound previously don't use. need to remap/re-tweak most of sound mods.

  10. no, those ocean from those map is not big enough, cannot simulate pure naval battle. hide and seek naval warfare, merchant escort, anti piracy, ASW, for Naval game play which don't need the land to be in map.

I think that Modern Air Combat module was mistake, they forgot the German MiG-29G and the Su-25T was a free plane for everyone just download and play the DCS World. replace the Su-25T with the German MiG-29G, the MAC module still with 14 planes + 2 free planes from DCS World (TF-51D and Su-25T) that should be right things

  13. current release version 2.5.2.20143 still with a whole lot of bugs. bugs that can be fix by player: China 's Su-27 and J-11A cockpit language still use English after switched on to use native betty, can be fix with manually edit the speech.lua, by adding "['J-11A'] = base.country.id.CHINA," and "['Su-27'] = base.country.id.CHINA,", this will turn Su-27 to use Chinese language in Russian Su-27, A-10A & A-10C both sound sdef and wave files missing, manually recover from the sound mods. The game updated to use new A-10 engine sound, TF34GE100, no longer use A10BackEngine, frontengine or aroundengine. F/A-18C sound bug, back engine and afterburner sound for back hemisphere goes full front and back hemisphere. It did not follow the sdef direction, cause by inverted cone_inner_angle for afterburner.sdef and F404GE_back.sdef sound can be fix by editing the sdef file with inverted angle, default was 60, inverted will be 300 (I am using 270) to fix it. Su-25A, Su-25T, Su-25TM using A-10 sound, can be fix with reassign sdef to wav file with different name. Still got bug with unassigned sound being attached with all Su-25s 's back engine sound, it was loud and un-adjustable. All Ka-50 campaign mission will show friendly Russian Mi-24 with Georgian skin. can be fix with reload the mission in mission editor and re-select the default skin for the Mi-24. (need to edit the whole campaign mission) KA-50 cockpit button light indication was inverted (for stock cockpit), off became on, on became off. Can fix with cockpit mod. To fix the ship 's trail wake problem, edit all the ships 's LAU files edit and set "GT.Tail_Width = 0.0" (information from crazyeddie from another thread), but the China PLA ship 's LUA cannot be edit. RCS for all planes need to be tune back to as is, can be manually adjust according to the specification in PlaneConst.LUA RCS value: B-52 = 100 B-1 , Mig-31 = 10 F-18C, Mig-21 = 3, M2000 = 2 F-16A, Mig-29 = 5 F-16C = 1.2 Tornado = 8 Su-27 = 15 Su-33 = 4-5 ? or 15+ ? I got the information here, https://www.globalsecurity.org/military/world/stealth-aircraft-rcs.htm from there B-52 was 100 m2 , same value in PlaneConst.LUA this mean alots of fault value, F/A-18C should be 3, F-15C should be 25 and not 5, Su-27 should be 15, Mig-21 should be 3, F-14 should be ALOT BIGGER like 50-100+ :D I don't play ARCADE, please don't make DCS world into ARCADE just for BALANCE issue, for me, I don't care, I just want it real as possible as a simulator, if it was disadvantage, It should be disadvantage, I gonna adjust it back to AS IS
  17. I played the Su-33 campaign mission, Heavy sky, I noticed the F-14A can be detected and locked at under 80KM. I checked the data files and founded it was: PlaneConst.LUA F-14A, RCS = 6 F/A-18C, RCS = 5 MiG-29, RCS = 5 Su-33/27, RCS = 5.5 Mirage-2000C , RCS = 5 that should be need fix, the F-14 should be way lots bigger. 5-6 range was for medium size :doh: lots of forum said F-14 was with RCS way lots bigger Su-33 campaign with F-14 is broken.
  18. current J-11A still got bug for current latest 2.5.2 release version, old bug with the landing Gear light for all aircraft, need fix. Track record deviated and error for all time. missing inlet Grid control, "left Alt + i". English cockpit betty when selected native betty in option (missing "['J-11A'] = base.country.id.CHINA," in speech.LUA). The model still using Su-25 's front engine sound, it did not use Su-27 's front engine sound. I think the HUD need to convert into Chinese too?

Add new sound API function, add "velocity_filter_offset" (similar to those distant_filter_offset) that function to control the sound playback at certain aircraft velocity, example: at 0-700km/h, the sound was muted or played at certain volume ; at 700km/h+, the sound was un-muted play at normal volume or user adjustable volume or frequency gain. Split the sound for each aircraft, especially the fly-by sound. Many sound was shared for now. Especially the Turbofan, Turbo-props, piston planes, sound for sub-sonic aircraft, supersonic aircraft. The A-10 need to be split out from FC3 sound and individualized. The Su-25s (A, T, TM) need to fix to get it to work like FC3 Su-27, Su-33, MiG-29 sound, where they got the sound properly attached. All MiG-29s got the Turbine engine fuel cut sequence sound now, great work. overall sound was improved, with F/A-18C lot 20 and all MiG-29s. Still need to add engine Fuel cut / turbine shut down sound for J-11A, Ka-50, Ka-27, Su-25s, Su-27, Su-30, Su-33, F-15s, F-16s, F-14s, F-4s, F-5s, Mig-25s, Mig-31s, Su-24s, Mi-24s, Mi-28s, UH-1s, UH-60s, MH-60, AH-1s, AH-64s,... add front engine sound, back engine sound for Ka-50, Add "Su25frontengine2" sound for all Su-25s, Split the Afterburner texture for each aircraft, and add variable afterburner texture that was related to time (day, night, morning, evening), weather as well for cold or hot day. Noticed some aircraft emit blue afterburner flame or some with blue flame at outskirt. All MiG-29s, Mirage 2000C and F/A-18C got vapor, add the vapor for all other aircrafts, add new supersonic vapor cone too, Mach cone when entering sound barrier plus water ripple effect when flying high speed close to a water body. Add new free map that was only filled with Ocean and no land or island or just add small island. this kind of map should be easy to crate, its good for carrier task force vs carrier task force. Since, F-14A/B is coming out soon, with those naval aircraft, Av-8, F/A-18C, A-4E, Su-33, should be fun to play. The map should be able to set for any geo position (weather and sun & moon position), either at Indian Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, Pacific Ocean, Artic or Antarctic...., South China Sea? (since release of China asset?), This map should be good for those with performance problem. Add under sea map for Submarine/ASW future gameplay? add P-8A, P-3C for anti-submarine and anti-ship, MiG-29K for Russian Carrier, Turn the Su-25TM to be flyable, since it should be similar with Su-25T with just added radar pod support, for free or low cost just to introducing the radar system for newbies and those Su-25T player/fan. Many AI models was look great and good for turning into playable planes with just cockpit, Su-25TM, Su-24M, Su-24MR, Su-34, Ka-27, Mi-24V, MiG-31, F-16A, F-16C, F-117A, AH-64A, AH-64D, AH-1, UH-60, Improve the 3D model for Su-30, Mirage 2000-5 (Mirage 2000C was there and should be easy?), F-4E (add F-4E back into USA aircraft list), SH-60B/MH-60R,.. Add tail gunner position for player control in Mi-8TV2 since door gunner was available, add open cockpit door function, open the door behind the flight engineer. Add Mi-8MTV3 with 4x hardpoints and nose gunner position for flight engineer, I remember the Mi-8MTV3 in ArmA 2 free got a nose gunner position. Add function to allow the soldier to disembark with ropes gliding from hovering helicopter to ground without need helicopter to land. add infantry equipped with Anti-Material Rifle, US Barrett rifle, RU KSVK/OSV, China M99, German DSR, UK Accuracy International, Georgia PDShP, . The helicopter operation was high risk and the whole thing was not easy even not the manpad. add airport and carrier deck crew AI, that tow the aircraft/helicopter, refuel and reloading with animation, realistic repair... add automatic AI dispatch AI Helicopter transport search and recue mission from nearby airport, heliport, carrier, destroyer, frigate or cruiser to search for downed/ejected pilot. For single player; either the Player or AI downed (vehicle crashed to ground but survived) or ejected at sea or land, SAR should be on the way to retrieve the pilot and transport the pilot back to base and allow to respawn with new vehicle to continue the mission/campaign mission/campaign progress for better realism and cinematic gameplay. This is good to add into multiplayer as well, auto assign SAR mission for those transport helicopter player to retrieve downed/ejected player before the player allow to be respawn. Or add choice for player direct respawn, add point for succeed SAR mission, add live/death number for player if recued from SAR mission by other player. Thus it reduce the death number, more fun for transport helicopter player for co-ops within each other. Assign nearby friendly ground vehicle APC, truck or jeep to retrieve pilot too. Split the game simulation environment with Track replay environment to repair all the faulty track replay. Use different game environment for track replay that only read the track path and perform only sound and 3D rendering. Don't simulate the physics and unlock for AI taking over until the player take over the vehicle control. fix the navigation light, anti collision light, taxi spot light, model argument light that visible in cockpit. the Sun and moon light no problem, because it was registered in DLL, get all those light register in the DLL the same way as the sun and moon light. Fix the Helipad radio Add dual mode support for Vulcan and DirectX, since developer said adding vulcan? i suggest to use DirectX, retain the DirectX engine. + Upgrade to DirectX 12 support. :thumbup: Add dual rendering configuration support to allow user to switch between Vulcan or DirectX. Add DLSS, Ray Tracing, after updated to DirectX 12. Add FPS style for infantry like ArmA, allow pilot to move around, drive vehicle jeep, motorcycle, bicycle, invite ArmA developer to participate for FPS module in DCS? :D :book: :joystick: :pilotfly: current mission editor only allow one pair of node to be activated, updated it to allow multiple node to be activate in the same time, to create a very long frontline. Add timeline adjustment for which vehicle should be exist at that periods. almost all vehicle was clickable cockpit, its time to upgrade those Su-25TM, Su-25A, A-10A, F-15C, Su-33, Su-27, J-11A, MiG-29G, MiG-29A and MiG-29S into clickable cockpit. Its time to get the F2/F4 external view graphics quality to F1 cockpit view and F3 fly by view. Noticed the F3 fly by view was with same F1 cockpit graphics quality, the building roof was jazzy. Time to fix it, turn the F1 cockpit view and F3 fly-by view graphics renderer quality to F2 external view / F4 view graphics quality.
  20. for now 4th update for the fix, work on 1.5.7.10175.378, fix the rain particle, recover back the missing aircraft damage fire, smoke, fuel leaks, improve the clouds too... I got my DCS World updated to 1.5.7.10175.378, tried it on all stock original files downloaded from the DCS World, it turn up the old problem unsolved, happened in Ka-50, launch 10x rockets will be stutter.   21. lets try 3rd update for the fix, I launched whole loads of rockets in Su-25 with no problem. many factor cause the problem, too much units on map, possibly the radar as well,

I go for rocket barraging fun with Su-25 and I noticed the UB-32 rocket pods model was terribly horror, that should be outdated model, 10-15 years ago? :doh: :huh: I noticed the MiG-21 can be fitted with UB-32 rocket pod too and it has very good model. I tried copy the UB-32.edm and texture from MiG-21 coreMods to main DCS World bazar world shape, the UB-32 will show up but the pods was empty. no rocket salvos in the pod but can launch rockets to attack. need fix, :book: got any clue to adjust in the lua files ? adjustment to place rocket salvos in the empty UB-32 pod.

I just tested Su-25 in edited quick mission ground attack, full loaded with 8x B-8V20A rocket pods, I launched all 60-70x + rockets with smooth, with my PC setting at adaptive and Full Maxed traffic in the game. the problem should be solved, the remain problem was the Ka-50 module and other AI helicopter like Mi-24 could be faulty that need developer to solve it. Stutter happened on Mi-24, Ka-50 during 20-40x+ rockets barraging.
  25. how was the simulator now? got performance improved? how was those user who use Nvidia G-Sync or AMD FreeSync ?, VR user? other AMD CPU and GPU user got any problem like this? (stutter and low performance) I had tested it with Ka-50 loaded with 4x B-8V20A rocket pods alone in the Caucasus map, full salvos of 20x rockets in one go with no stutter or frame freeze. stutter still happened at full salvos of 40x rockets in one go. Full max setting in graphics as the Video demonstration in YouTube. In mission map, Ka-50 usually loaded with 2x rockets pods, launch 10x rockets salvos should be no problem. for Jet fighter gameplay should be smooth. Air to Air combat only use plenty missile 1-10x
