  1. I think he is asking this as someone with no fisical detent. The special options is great for people with fisical detents. Although the deadzone can be of some help with that.
  2. - You can use a binding for the ignition switches. -You are complaing about the procedure used being a the real one. But not only that that are various ways to get around that issue: 1 - You could just use the keyboard for that. 2 - You can make your axis binding "shifted" in your control assignments so that moving the throttle unshifted moves both, and using one shif moves one and with another shift moves the other. 3 - This is mostly an non issue, if you start your right engine your left will still be in the OFF position so it will not move. When starting the left engine the right engine will also advance when moving the throtle halfway and back, but the engine will be already started advancing the throttle wont cause an isse, and it wont make the jet move from the chocks eighter. -Not sure what the problem is about the WSO controls, The WSO has some controls and the pilot has others, not all controls are avaiable on both cockpits.
  3. I'm convinded they will. Hey @IronMike... what about this idea?
  4. Heatblur took a page out of Razbam's book on this one (with the F-15E). And I say well done for it. ED should have made standard on all afterburning aircraft years ago. And it wasn't for a lack of the community asking for it. Seems like something so simple to implement as well. Hope more aircraft makers (AND ED) take notice. As for the Phantom... Well... It's Phantastic!!! It realy is! Still haven't spend as much time with it as id like, it's been a complicated couple of days. But I made a video of my first flight, unfortunately my mic wasn't captured so my impressions that I gave in real time are lost. But Here's the video in case anyone cares to take a look, it's a bit long, so with out the narration it's probably best to do a lot of skipping ahead.
  5. I'm thinking of upgrading to the new AVA base, not sure what would be a good fair price to ask for it. It has quite a few years of use but it's working perfectly. Any ideas?
  6. Rgr! Thank you for the info. Had no idea Brunner was lacking in that aspect. Was always out of my price range anyways.
  7. It's EU so € most likely.
  8. Cool! Thank you for clearing that up, I'm definitely interested in FF, it's just out of my pocket league atm. But I'm glad to know people who have this swear by it.
  9. May I ask why you decided to go with something else. Just asking because being a MSFF2 owner FF always interested me.
  10. Hey Winger, You're not happy with it?
  11. Think I noticed this with the 10s yesterday. The bomb drop steering line being way off to eighter side.
  12. I was encountering this myself yesterday, but I think the reason it happens is because with the GBU-10 the bomb drop steering cue is way off to the right or left of target sometimes, so the bomb is way off to the side and doesn't see the laser.
  13. This is the behavior found in most US jets, if not all.
  14. What is a Walmart TM Warthog? I have what I belive is a decent profile, but it's not a TM profile, It's a mix of Joystick Gremlin and in DCS Assignments. So in that regard it's probably not usefull to you, but I can tell you how I assigned my controls if that is helpfull to you. I am However using the F-18 grip, not the F-16/A-10C.
  15. This is actually not needed as Razbam included two commans to act as a switch between controling the right and left WSO hand controlers. One works as a toggle and the other as a Held type modifier. To use it you map the controls to only the left or right hand controller and then use your prefered switch mode to control the unmapped Hand Controller.
  16. This what I always recomend people with simpler devices to go for, works very well for most uses IMO, although I must say the F-15E is quite complex and although this method works well for HAT switch assignents, it's a little less straight forwads for other commands, particular on the throttle, or maybe that's just me, or the fact that there's a considerable number of non-hat commands.
  17. I don't have an issue with this, but I'm using a Vjoy device programed through Joystick Gremlin. My Rudders Are the Saitek Combat Pedals. Not sure how much this is information is helpfull to you, but I can at least confirm that the Axis is programable.
  18. Just Like AhSoul says. Had a little trouble figuring it out, the Tutorial kind of leads you to belive Up has to be pressed while still holding Press. (Using TM F-18 Stick)
  19. Can you map it in other modules? Have you checked the Axis through windows Game Devices?
  20. I've not been having trouble using this from the Pilot seat (can't remember how to do it from the WSO as most things are slightly diferent from that seat). I've been using the method of designating a point on the ground and then using point track on the target I intend to hit (I just read about CDES and have yet to try it out). To do it from the pilot seat I first designate the release point with TDC press, then I make sure the TPOD is in PTRK and I use Auto ACC Press (Not TDC Press) to put the TPOD in acquisiton, then I just put the cross over the target or point it at a point forward of the target in the road and as soon as the target drives over it, the TPOD will track it.
  21. I don't know if this is actually only happening with the F-15 or with DCS, but in my testing appears so. So I'm putting it here to try and pin point if anyone else noticed this. When flying the F-15E I've been noticing an occasional screen flicker, it happens fast maybe only a single frame. I seen to have noticed it happening when loading an F-15 mission as well. At first I thought I was starting to have a problem with my GPU but it doesn't appear to happen in any other games. And as far as I can tell it only happens with the F-15. I was doing some AI dogfighting with the Tomcat last night for quite a bit of time and I didn't notice it once. Seems to happens several times every few minutes or so with the F-15E. Like I said I can't definitely say it's the F-15E or DCS, maybe it is my GPU, I'm just tryna to figure out if anyone else is noticing it, which would probably rule out the GPU.
  22. I think he wants both. But it does look funny when put forth like that. I do have a TM F-18 grip that I'm considering letting go of.
  23. Pm sent
  24. To weld it I'm preaty sure you need someone with equipment and knowledge to weld aluminium. I may be wrong but I'm preaty sure it's aluminium. But the part is so small I don't know how well that Will work. Or maybe they can do a stronger welding and then redrill the hole.
