  1. Afaik this first engagement falls under ACM https://youtu.be/eH-9PiNmLmg and as you can see I performed quite good, even though my right thumb probably nearly fell off after that engagement. In DCS, yes, but maybe not IRL, or? Rather a means for us to be able to collect statistics on which configuration players use in multiplayer.

Well, tbh, the claim by sb. else recently that he assumes 90 (or 99) % of all PvP players to have some sort of headtracking might've already been an eye-opener to me, but I'll see what happens in my next dogfight, and also keep an eye on ED's long awaited AMRAAM fix for the many AIM-120 guidance bug-reports in "weapon bugs" subforum, for now.

  6. I know 3rd party devs have a direct link, but from Discord chat it seemed RAZBAM didn't realize the importance of this matter regarding multiplayer.

  8. Currently, all Mirage 2000 players can likely be on the exact same radar channel in online play. That will jam each others radars (Source: RAZBAM Discord) and result in a reduced userexperience for all those players, with the high risk that they are not even aware of what is happening. Please add a basic DCS function (built into DCS) to force all Mirage 2000 slots to have random radar channels to massively reduce this risk (1/144 risk potential then only.). Thanks

  11. If it were the only or fastest means to deliver a high value item to a strategic key position, why should it not be used, supported by AWACS?
  12. It's still flown today, QuiGon. And it's a free airplane and thus an exceptional feature for servers to attract new players.

And here we are, ED having locked the other thread in summer (and promised us to report it to the team, and here we are basically September already, and still waiting for HARMs in DCS to simply "do their basic job" finally... That bug probably has gotten the utmost wrong priority level in their subforum...
  14. And here we're back at the topic, let's stop guessing and instead start measuring finally. So many players can improve their DCS skill when they finally know if a player managed to shoot them because of pure luck or some other factor, or due to head-tracking advantage.
  15. Well QuiGon, the TF-51 was A-mazing for placing Stingers kinda anywhere on the map.
  16. Ok finally found the culprit!!! When HARM approaches from high angle (exploding close to Roland), Roland takes damage. However when HARM explodes directly above Roland and approached at a low angle, no damage at all... How wicked!!   18. Any plans for TF-51 on any of the two Caucasus servers? Now that the PG server is offline, TF-51 can't be flown in Blue Flag at all. Please add slots on any of the Caucasus servers.

  21. Well you do for aiming AIM-9X, R-73 with HMD mode, as far as I know 1. only one single server, no more 2. calling it "abuse" is also very very wrong. (I instantly had openly stated in the server's discord to all players that I switched to other team with another account due to a big hostility misunderstanding regarding a DCS squadron. There still is proof in the discord afaik. This incident also is over 1,5 years ago now.)
  22. What? Heck no! The super cheaty padlock function is disabled on PvP servers... What are you talking about? How should player A on server A be able to see if player B on server B was thrown out of server B? wtf?? Well even those players need some headtracker for DCS to track where they are looking at. And I doubt Track IR can be set to 1:1 axis translation (90° of head turn = 90° ingame e.g.) And no, themastro, how the heck would some scorechart icons turn DCS into Ace Combat? wtf? (And Ace Combat aint even that bad!!! Insane graphics & effects! Only problem is the Stonehenge mission being way too hard on highest difficulty. Gotta spend tens of hours now to unlock F-22 Wtf Bandai Namco...) "match" ? A drunk competitive squadron vs squadron match with signups? Wow I'd like to have users vote for a selection of ED staff that then appoints a bunch of DCS players as server-admins on any PvP server! That'd drastically improve the PvP community, and we'd be back at such a friendly community state as back in 2012 in a matter of no time
  23. what do you mean by "second advantage"? And TrackIR is expensive plus I don't have the space around my PC for my VR headset and TrackIR gear.

Please ED, it will still bring a massive amount of balance to all those amazing PvP servers that are a great part of society, a place that brings people together and where new friendships are formed every day. TrackIR is just too powerful with a slight unrealistic head-movement and bam there goes that AIM-9X 90° to the side, vs VR players who actually have to turn their head a full 90° like real military trained airforce pilots. Thank you. Oh and please ignore Yink (he's crazy full of humanity-hostility and a lot of hate, he has a problem with the idea of every DCS player making friends in DCS). Thanks.
  25. See track. Gepard radar not activating on mission start although alarm state = red. This is a super highly important bug regarding testing on why sometimes HARM does a direct hit on Gepard but 0% damage. (need this fixed super urgently so we can test for that 2nd bug!!) GepardRedStateFail.trk
