  1. nevermind, sorry!!! IR seeker "aimpoint" (caged) is quite a bit higher than I expected (at least in F1EE, but assume CE is same), I just figured out, wow!!! Amazing for dogfights! Would be awesome if an image of HUD with missile default-aimpoint could be added to F1 manual asap.
  2. Well it'd be another one of those highly infamous 20-100 MB DCS-forum-bugreport PvP-.trk, which they probably won't analyze... but ok, I'll keep such .trk files saved in future, in case they (Aerges themselves) ask for it in here.

  5. Both missiles indicating as "selected & ready to fire" in HUD (seekers cooled), YET they won't lock an A-10 NOR an F-5 that I'm chasing at only 1nm? What is happening? European missile seekers are one of the best in the world. Please check Syria scenario at 20°C with these missiles, Aerges. Thanks

  8. WOW, it was removed from ALL module controls .diff.lua files from a patch 1-2 years ago!!! Unacceptable! Needs fix, to set transpose to mousewheel click (MOUSE_BTN3) again ASAP, ED! DON'T you expect of me to reassign mousewheel "Camera transpose mode (press and hold)" to ALL of my 46 modules, cooome ooon!!!
  9. Would be awesome if roadbases simply change faction based on who controls the respective sector, instead of having blue and red roadbases across the entire map visible all of the time. Or possible to set the units to invisible until the sector is captured? For example there is a red roadbase (that I accidentally discovered) right next to a blue roadbase is in grid FK50 on Caucasus.
  10. Yes, fix it ASAP, it's unacceptable!!! Don't tell me that the pilot wouldn't black out or throw up from such negative G...
  11. Exactly what thread title says. Reconnecting to same server before server restarts or changes mission, resets own score on that specific server to 0 kills 0 deaths (probably all values to 0). Server should keep client scores in cache until mission changes or server restarts. Afaik that even was standard behaviour until DCS 2.5
  12. Be very very careful, MiG-21 pilots: R-60 (NOT the R-60M version!) is tail-aspect only! Better use R-3R! (seems that so far, MiG-21 is only DCS aircraft to be able to carry basic R-60 version.)
  13. R-60M is all-aspect in DCS, please also add R-60 which is tail-aspect only, for early cold war missions. (DCS MiG-21 already can carry basic R-60)
  14. How to close menus like these when they open while playing DCS? (without WMR controller, since I ordered my WMR goggles without controllers)
  15. Negative, no "close" option...... This massive issue is getting out of hand. It just totally ruined another new DCS session entirely for me. Wasted another 10 minutes of my gaming-time to annoying issues like this.

  19. Then why would ED not make WMR use OpenXR for DCS instead of SteamVR? It's shocking to find out about this incredibly bad SteamVR bottleneck!!!
  20. Well guys... whatEVER you do while flying... never never never never NEVER ever press Windows key without any other key!!! It will f... you up big time by making SteamVR VR-menu pop up and there is NO WAY that you can close it without entirely restarting DCS!!! (assuming that you also don't have any VR hand-controllers.) Worst thing ever that can happen to any pilot flying in DCS, having been flying for 15 minutes towards the combat area for example and suddenly, boom... I wish ED programmers were able to remove that incredibly awkward SteamVR ""feature"" that Valve added. Oh, it seems it's possible to disable that in SteamVR settings!

Indeed, but I'm assuming Heatblur realizes what a big revenue they could make if they get a deal with ED to get animated crew + barricade net (or even all supercarrier features) on the Forrestal aswell (for all F-14 module owners for example). Huh, so are there seriously 2 Stennis versions in DCS now? One for Supercarrier owners only, one for everyone?
  22. When do you plan on correcting it? @Chizh It's currently still happening most of the time, and currently affects balancing issues on dynamic PvP campaign servers like BlueFlag.
  23. Seems so... Also still waiting for that barricade net, which will turn carriers into epic operating platforms for prop aircraft aswell
