Hi. Sorry, no video that I know of... I've attached my profile, bur keep in mind it is done for the X52 Pro. Copy it to the Logitech folder, where all othe other profiles are. OPEN it with the Logitech software and take a look at it. Try to get an idea; not much inputs. The important one is the mode selector: In SP, if you turn it towards you (mode 1 in the MFD) you jump into the RIO seat, and controls are diferent than if you move it forward (mode 3) where you will be in the Pilot position. The PINKIE button is used as a modifier inside Logitech profiler (not DCS modifier) Mouse fire is a button that I use to open JESTER menu (inside DCS) Mouse wheel is set as 2 buttons, for wing sweep select (auto/bomb inside DCS) Joystick twist is used to zoom in/zoom out POV 2 + PINKIE is used as Trim (inside Logitech profiler, so check key bindings). RIO use it different... Mouse up/dwn/lft/rgt is used as micro switches if pilot or as LANTIRN controls when RIO. The rest of buttons are configured inside DCS and depend on your likings Can't do much more, but keep asking if needed, please. Saludos. Saca111 DCS F14B.pr0

solved Temp Loss of Collective, Cyclic, Rudder
Sacarino111 replied to Mikkall's topic in Bugs and Problems
Hi. Now you say, I also have some issues with the Saiteck Combat Pedals (after 10 years?). Sometimes, mostly when the weather is hot, when I take the feet of the pedals or step pack, all my soysticks seems to briefly disconnect and connect back, in less than a second, althought the Joystick (X52 PRO) will need to move in all directions/range to calibrate again. After that, all ok. I won't change the pedals any time soon, so I ll have to live with it. Saludos. Saca111 -
Trimming the Aircraft with Targeting Pod Mounted
Sacarino111 replied to brucewhf's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
True. In the Viper most of the time you'll find yourself triming and counter triming; it is difficult to find the middle/balance point in Roll. I thought that placing a HAD in the other side would balance more, even if you don't go SEAD, but I saw no difference. I read somewhere that the HAD pod has no weight simulated yet, could be, so let's wait until they add weight to the pod. Saludos. Saca111 -
solved Temp Loss of Collective, Cyclic, Rudder
Sacarino111 replied to Mikkall's topic in Bugs and Problems
Other thing come to mind Check your usb wires are ok, no intermitent disconnetion; I suggest opening the Wind config and play with the inputs and see if there is any disconnection. If they are on a USB hub, change it to test it, or even better, change to a 2.0 powered USB hub. Saludos. Saca111 -

Lighting axes controls don't start working till 50% rotation
Sacarino111 replied to imacken's topic in DCS: F-14A & B
Looks like the range goes from 0 to 1, instead of -1 to 1, so it only registers half of the mouvement. -

Ufff. I used to fiddle with the .lua file of the bindings, but never got the touch of it... Sorry. Saca111 -
Lighting axes controls don't start working till 50% rotation
Sacarino111 replied to imacken's topic in DCS: F-14A & B
Hi. My two cents. This certainly happens on other modules, and indeed it happened with the A4 Mod, but this last one was fixed. I can't talk for the F-14, as I use no mod for it, so I guess it is a "general bug " question. I am more a cockpit maker more than a (good) pilot, so I always try to replicate the cockpit as much as possible, so yes, this thing happens in many modules. Saludos Saca111 -

Hi. Did you checked out the trim options, that you don't have the "do nothing untill return to center" option? Just an idea... Saca111 -
T16000+Twcs advices in upgrade
Sacarino111 replied to simo-dj's topic in Controller Questions and Bugs
Hi. The pedals can have two more axis, besides de rudder itself, which are in both sides of the pedals and are used to apply presure to wheel brakes (like in RL). They are usualy called toe brakes, as you most likely will use the toe to act them. Saludos. Saca111 -

Hi. Yes, spend your money in rudder pedals, (with toe brake) and try to repair the old one. The analog joystick should be replacable, almost sure. If not, the X56 is a good replacemente. Saludos. Saca111 -

Some personal opinion on f14's flight model during refueling
Sacarino111 replied to Ddg1500's topic in DCS: F-14A & B
Best of the advices. To me, Wings in bomb mode, so the Tomcat does not pitch up that much when adding power, trim it to formation flying with the tanker in obs position, and then try the AAR thing. You should be able to keep position with two fingers ( or three fingertips), light touches and wiggle you toes very often, as you build up tension very quickly when the basket is teasing you. And, according to Ward Karroll, up and down of you probe is done by roll left/right and right/left is done with rudders! I also struggled a lot with the F14, so I started with the A model (less throttle sensitive) and a big tanker (C130) so the basquet is more stable, then moved to the S3, and then to the B model, all done with bomb mode for the wings and a straight flight pattern. When proficient, I switched to a race track patern, and finally to an orbiting pattern. You are not alone... Saca111 -
T16000+Twcs advices in upgrade
Sacarino111 replied to simo-dj's topic in Controller Questions and Bugs
Hi. I can't tell for sure, but I m afraid that if both throttles are the same model/name , Windows will have a hard time telling them appart and in DCS config page you will have to do some testings to know which one is which, but once you got it, you should be able to config them separately with no problem. Be aware, from time to time, Windows will shuffle them, and you will probably need to uninstall them, then re install (from device manager) to have them in the "correct order" (I have 6 different joysticks with the same name, so I know what I m saying). My trick is to change their name in DCS (config tab/controls and RMouse on controller name to change it) and make always a backup, so you can load it if windows shuffle them or you have to un-install and install them back. Saludos. Saca111 -
Hi. This option allows you to use a joybutton or key to modify the action of a button /keypress. You will have to " sacrifice " that one button as unusable for any function; How to setup: In the control tab of the settings, click in the lower left tab (modifier). You will have two choice then: " modifiers" and "interruptor"; Modifier: will change the action triggered as long as you keeo it oressed. More or less like pressing "SHIFT" for capital letters Interruptor: Press once and release and all actions after that wiil be modified. Press again to cancel the modifiation. More like the "CAPS LOCK" function when writing. Add a modifier/interruptor as convienience. Once added, go to the function desired (e.g. x axis) and bind the axis to the function. For the modified action, double press again in the function, press the key/button you use as modifier/interruptor and the actual button/axis you want. From now on, the axis will do two different actions, depending on if the modifier/interruptor is/was pressed or not. Be aware that the interruptor may make other keypresses unresponsive, as the game is expecting a bound keypress, and if there is none, then no action wil be taken. Saludos. Saca111

HI. I would recommend the F/A-18. Complexity, more or less equal t each other. Speed; The Hornet arrive to the intersting point faster, and can leave quickly if trouble arrive, but it make it also more demanding in terms of flying and fiddling around with the systems at the same time with less time for that. Flying: the Hornat has naval operations... Weapons: The Hornet has a lot of nice toys to play with; A/A, A/G, A/Sea Systems. The A10 "only" have the TGP, while the Hornet has the radar. More complex but more rewarding... To me, although it is a bit buggy, the Hornet is the plane for your friend. I don't like the Hornet, I prefer the F-14 or the Viper, but for the liking of your friend, I vould suggest the Hornet. Saludos. Saca111

Hi. Make sure there is no drift on the TGP controls. If axis, set a generouse dead zone and try again... Once on the spot, TMS Dwn to enter INS mode and the TGP should stay in place. Saludos. Saca111

correct as is Strange Ground Radar behaviour while zooming in
Sacarino111 replied to AlexPlorateur's topic in Bugs and Problems
Hi. So what is then the correct (or the more correct) behavior?; the one that we have now or the one in Wagg's video? Thanks in advance. Saludos. Saca111 -
Hi. Did you tried a "repair"? Seems like something got croocked after the crash. I just found those servers on the lobby, so I guess it is in your side. If can't make up ypur mind with it, try this app https://forum.dcs.world/topic/134493-the-dcs-updater-gui-utility/ . Look in youtube and you 'll find lots of tutorials on how to install and use. Good luck Saludos. Saca111

Hi. Deffinitivelly yes. Holding the button makes it easyer. but for big mouvements it can get too "out of controll". Saludos. Saca111

Hi. I m not 100% sure I understood your problem, as all that Gremlin and VJoy is unknown for me, but I can tell you that for Joys axis I use "interruptors" instead of "modifiers" for the CP/G seat in the apache, for the joy to use the tads (no modifier nor interruptor) or to fly the helo (Joy axis + modifier or interruptor, and it works fine. It should be doable. Hope it helps. Saludos. Saca111
