  1. Thanks for the clarification.
  2. GeorgeLKMT, are the ARK and RSBN supposed to be in Russian or is that just a part you hadn't covered yet?
  3. I was wondering if this'd be a mod or an official feature - either way, thank you! :D
  4. Same problem here. Running Steam DCS, openbeta channel, running 1.5.0.4665. Bought L-39, the Download section of Steam stated DCS is downloading 0 bytes/0 bytes and that it completed the download. But the jet's not selectable and there's no \Mods\Aircraft\L-39 folder structure in the DCS folder.
  5. Wouldn't the opposite order make more sense, to avoid having the thermal head lock onto the 27R/ER's exhaust?

Excellent news, -Rudel-! Maybe now I'll finally get off my ass and learn how to update wormeaten's MiG-21 skins with proper bort numbers for his Croatian MiG-21bis skins. :D Mainstay, I know it's not an official feature of the MiG-21bis module, but this mod by uboats does the trick and can switch between a list of cockpits - I had a JGSME pack containing the green, black, gray, English, Chinese and Finnish pits installed - and could switch between them without any issues!
  7. The cockpit is still WIP so the right (?) engine needle isn't working yet. I checked it in the live chat with the testers on the night of the launch and was assured that it was an issue now, but will be fixed later.
  8. Thanks for the explanation - I'll copy that over when I get home. The profile is still heavily WIP, but my SE/ST buttons are mostly mapped to flaps control on other jets (or engine start-stop if I combine them with throttle fingertip buttons 9/10 which I use as modifiers). :D That said, shame LN didn't implement the "next weapon"/"previous weapon" keys yet.
  9. Can anyone explain how to get stock "flaps up"/"flaps down" keys to work on a HOTAS? I'm unable to bind the stock controls (which are on F/LShift+F) to the HOTAS, and the alternate bindings just temporarily "flick" the flaps up or down, leaving them in the middle as soon as I release the button. Using a Thrustmaster HOTAS X, for the record.
  10. When I start the right engine with RCtrl+Home, internally I see the right (Пр) engine RPM rising, but externally the left turbine starts spinning. The opposite is also true, if I start the left engine with RAlt+Home, internally the left (Л) engine RPM starts rising, but externally, the right turbine starts spinning!
  11. [CLOSED]Su-25T - starting an engine visually starts spooling the opposite one When I start the right engine with RCtrl+Home, internally I see the right (Пр) engine RPM rising, but externally the left turbine starts spinning. The opposite is also true, if I start the left engine with RAlt+Home, internally the left (Л) engine RPM starts rising, but externally, the right turbine starts spinning!
  12. So thrilled to see someone working on the A-37! Hope to see it finished at one point. :D
  13. Thanks, Starway, will be watching closely! By the way, will you be updating the Desert terrain as well? I was kinda hoping to meld your Northern Europe, Desert and Vietnam mods to get as much flexibility as possible. :D
  14. Can confirm - works in DCS 1.5 Steam edition. Excellent work! :D
  15. Very generous of you, Xaoslaad. (and kudos on the Planescape-related nickname, too) :D May I ask, Steam or standalone edition?
  16. Tu-22M? Not one bit. Standard turbofans, variable-sweep wings and variable-ramp intakes. Nothing all that noteworthy.
  17. Thanks for the info, c0ff, I hope this will give us a bit more flexibility re: allowed and disallowed mods.
  18. Honestly? I don't think it should. The transfer functions of air dependent on humidity, temperature, density etc. should all be fairly well understood now, and I don't think it'd be that hard to implement an additional filter dependent on the surrounding sound sources and other parameters.
  19. I'd be happy with the spinal airbrake and 8 pylons. :D
  20. Brilliant work, Морква-55! Can't wait to get home to fly! :pilotfly:
  21. I propose we set up a Kickstarter, completely unrelated to any upcoming projects, to get these people a set of IV coffees. :D
  22. Well, this isn't a no-news-is-good-news situation - it's better, because if I read it right the MiG-21bis will be all polished up in 1.5. :D
  23. First variable geometry wings? Not by a longshot. There were the Bell X-5 and Grumman XF10F Jaguar as prototypes, and the General Dynamics F-111A Aardvark. However, it was the first to have a completely automatic sweep computer.
  24. Excellent news, Morkva. Can't wait for the next version.
