  1. Top notch, Cobra.
  2. Thanks! I'm sorry about pestering you with PMs, I sent that second PM without seeing that you'd replied to this!
  3. Yes, this is an actual bird, a Croatian Airforce MiG-21bis-UMD (the D signifies a "dorađeni", upgraded airframe). Would be an interesting skin in-game indeed, especially for airshows.
  4. Man what I wouldn't give for a flyable MiG-21I (the Tu-144 planform one).
  5. Nice... the best looking of the set - and the rear fuselage roundel is exactly on the spot it's supposed to be. This could lead to a very nice community pack to supplement the official pack. This new HRZ-NATO livery, the old HRZ-Avenger of Dubrovnik, the old JRViPVO skin, the "Checkerboard"...
  6. Can you help in any way, Mustang?
  7. Very cool, very short and descriptive. I would suggest an addendum after the last page - how to arm the RATO pack so it'll kick off at takeoff. First time I used it I didn't see it in the manual and took off without it, only to accidentally start it in the air. Made for quite a wild ride.
  8. I'm going to go with the Swedish Trinity of the Draken, Viggen and Gripen.
  9. I voted MiG-29M, because it's the closest thing to the MiG-29K, at least where payload and overall performance are considered.
  10. The first fix labels the two actions (Anti-surge doors manual and auto) properly, as right now they're both labeled as Auto. The second fix actually makes the two keybindings do two different things - wihtout the fixthe ARU Manual Low speed (LCtrl) did the same thing as the ARU Manual High speed (RCtrl) - it set it to High instead of low.
  11. Can confirm. Just had to perform an ejection and the cockpit stayed put on the model.
  12. Very, very nice find indeed. I don't see a radar scope anywhere - is it possible the Soviets already started projecting radar onto the HUD by then?
  13. DCS: World standalone has just been updated. DCS: MiG-21 exe has just been downloaded and installed. Mail checker set to check for emails containing the key every minute. Meanwhile... there's no need to be upset. Everyone sit down, relax, and go watch a MiG-21 documentary. :D EDIT: Screw the documentary! The key arrived! Leatherneck, you have my eternal gratitute - and a guaranteed Steam Key purchase as soon as I can get some extra funds running.
  14. Mustang, thanks for taking the time to pack this and get the Russian pit textures in order. I was looking forward to enjoying your texture pack, but I encountered a problem. I downloaded the pack from Mediafire, pulled the entire ZIP file into my DCS:World/FC3 (Steam) installation's <DCSW installdir>/Bazar/World/Textures directory, overwrote the stock file, started up the game in a MiG-29S. Once inside I got the following artifacts: This "griddy overlay texture" does not happen with the stock texture zip. Can you help, please? The DCS version is the latest stable on steam (1.2.10, I think?)
  15. Congrats guys. Have fun. :pilotfly:
  16. Let's see if fortune favors me.
  17. Thank you, Cobra. Mail sent, as confirmed on /r/hoggit
  18. I think LO's MP sessions could use a very old, very useful option from Red Alert. Tech Level. ;) Set the year, and there you go - nothing more advanced than a MiG-23, for instance.
  19. Taken from geof.hr and index.hr on Dec 26th 2006. ABRIS, here we come...
  20. To all listed planes, I say "yes please".
  21. Thank you, finally someone who did their homework on DU being DU just because it's a denser-than-titanium round, not a magical radioactive bullet. There's always EMP projectiles. Provided you can tell your own forces to get the hell out of here or send MiG-3s at them without worrying they'll fry and drop. :music_whistling:
  22. Wow. This'd be great even for a static-only plane!
  23. File downloaded; will seed till UL/DL ratio reaches 3:1. I'll keep uploading at 6kB/s due to other net-intensive programs running, but I'll continue to do so for the next few days with periodical reconnects. Hope it helps.
  24. Reminds me quite a bit about the hype the US DoD had created over the Foxbat's supposed capabilities.
  25. What about that J-35 Draken that was on sale for €600,000.00?
