sounds great kuky. ill give it a go with the tweaking . i think you have to spend a bit of time tweaking this game if you want to get the most out of it . theres many a post about graphic tweaking [you posted lots ] that i am experementing with for my 8800gt . the more time i spend reading and tweaking , the better the game runs and looks . also its fun to tweak things up a bit . you seem to have ALOT of knowledge . i guess the more you tweak , the more you learn . much thanks for your replies here kuky mate . cheers again .

thanks kuky , this room is kind of small and my desk is a corner style desk . the window is a fair size . the sun pours in here at times , thus effecting the track . i think i may have to convince my misses to sew me a heavy set of curtians . ha ha . is the response time the same with both units i wonder ? its still new to me .i need to play with it some more . do you use the factory defaults or did you edit the unit in some ways? much thanks for your input kuky mate . cheers .

greetings , i recently purchased trackir4 pro with the vector clip . i am considering purchaseing the track clip pro add on . will i see much of a difference? at present , there is a window in my room here which gives alot of lite . sometimes it effects the trackir . will this happen with the track clip pro? i guess the bottom line is this ,,, is it worth the $30.00 investment? i value your opinion . thanks for reading , cheers .

greetings , the logitech g15 has a lcd panel . theres a program you can get that shows fuel , speed , alt , etc . its kind of neat . as well it has 18 programable game buttons in 3 mods . thats 50 odd buttons . ive had the board for the pass 3 years . still working great . i have the logitech mx518 mouse . no problem there either . good luck . cheers . i might add , the lcd also shows my everst program . cpu temps , gpu temps ,etc .you can view your temps etc while in game . theres lots of apps that you can get for the board . speedfan, fraps , etc . cheers again . cheers again .

man , i tell ya , you are gonna be one happy camper once you loads lockon on that rig . yes , there should be a heatsink fan with the cpu . get a high quality thermal paste like artic silver 5 , etc .IF , you are gonna overclock , get a high quality cooler . i think upgradeing your 550 watt psu , is a great choice . a suggestion , make sure that your memory wont conflict with the mobo . go to the asus website and find the ''qualified vendors list ''. your case should be fine for that rig . i dont see a video card on your list? maybe give up the soundcard , add a few bucks , and get a video card. the onboard sound is not all that bad . the soundcard will come later . like merry xmas or something . if you can ,,,, build youself . as was said here , its very ,,, rewarding . you can't go wrong , really . its just screws and plugs . you are walking down a fine path there . keep us posted . cheers mate . :thumbup::thumbup:

dont skimp on the power supply . realize that it runs ,,,, everything . you need to look at the future a bit , also . bigger , heavier graphic cards . crossfire ,, sli , etc . the power supply is ,,,, very important . i am sure lots will chime in here with suggestions . be patient . cheers .

greetings . 2 years old in the computer world is very old . i believe your amd 3500 is for socket 939 mobo . they dont make that anymore . you will have trouble finding a good 939 chip . unless you buy it second hand . if i were you , i would consider a full upgrade . you allmost have to anyways . intel seems to have the ball now on gaming rigs . the 8400 is a great cpu . fast . very fast . heres what i purchased only a few days ago . i got everything here for less than $1000.00 canidian . i did have the amd 3700 before . it didnt even come close , to this rig . it was 3 years old and i paid twice the bucks for it . computer parts are a fair price these days . research alot . post alot . be patient . your patience will pay off , in the long run . good luck there . cheers . ps , if you can change a video card , you can install a processor . there is tons of info on how to build a rig . you tube has vids on everything youll need to do . http://www.google.com/search?q=installing+a+processor&btnGNS=Search+youtube.com&oi=navquery_searchbox&sa=X&as_sitesearch=youtube.com&hl=en&rls=com.microsoft%3Aen-us cheers again .

greetings . i have a new trackir4 pro . when i start in the cockpit , everything seems very close . i lean back but it still seems close . is there a config . that i could set so that my cockpit is farther away . i would like to be able to see more gauges , radar , etc . i am useing a 20 inch monitor @1680x1050 . aspect ratio 1.6 . any suggestions would be great . thanks for reading , cheers .
